Quepos Town & Marina is the practical hub of the Quepos area: a small Pacific port built around Marina Pez Vela, with buses, supermarkets, pharmacies and local restaurants (sodas) as well as waterfront dining.
This is the base for sportfishing and boat days, and the cheaper, more local alternative to sleeping on the Manuel Antonio hill. There isn’t a classic swimming beach in town - Playa Espadilla and the national park sit a short bus or taxi ride south.
Stay in Quepos when you want marina access, town services and value. Stay in Manuel Antonio when beach and park proximity matter more than being in town.
