At Castillo de la Riviera, we speak Canadian French, Spanish, and English. We live on-site and value a quiet, clean, and comfortable environment for everyone. Expect a genuine welcome and friendly company. You may see monkeys passing through, relax in a hammock, or work from one of our outdoor areas.
Getting Here
We are located on the main road between Hotel Plinio and Hotel Mono Azul, approximately 1 kilometer uphill from Quepos toward Manuel Antonio Park and Beach. The property is on the right, or west, side of the road.
Search for “Castillo de la Riviera” on any GPS or navigation app.
Public buses run every 15–20 minutes and cost less than one dollar. They are a safe and convenient way to get around. Quepos’ weekend farmers market is approximately a 15-minute walk away and takes place on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings.

Additional Information
From December 15 through April 1, the shared outdoor kitchen downstairs becomes a pop-up restaurant every Tuesday. We host a chef and serve up to 35 guests.
The evenings usually include live music, an open mic, and a welcoming atmosphere. Guests are invited to join and meet other travelers, locals, and expatriates.
The shared kitchen and common areas are in use from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Charming little spot between Quepos and Manuel Antonio. The two bedroom apartment was quaint, cozy, and comfortable! The little resort has a pool and a lovely gift shop with coffee/smoothie bar. It even had an unusual ping pong table that we really enjoyed. Our host Julie was responsive and very accommodating. We were grateful to have found her sweet little spot on the hill!

Thanks to the host, who was very attentive and responded very quickly. The place is beautiful, easily accessible and very close to the beaches. The rooms and the whole place were spotless. It's a place to get out of the routine and relax. Although it's close to the main road, there's very little noise from cars, and you can sleep peacefully.

Julie's place was perfect for a vacation for a mom and two boys. A full kitchen helped with our budget as we were able to cook at home. Close to all activities. Julie was quick to respond to every question.

We had an amazing stay with all of the amenities we needed, plus some. Julie was easy to get in contact with and provided helpful insight for our trip back to the airport. The location was BEAUTIFUL, close to the ocean, and felt very safe. Definitely would come back!!

Julie was a great host ! We stayed a Saturday night and with the road right next to the appartement it was very noisy, Sunday night was much quieter . The kitchen was very practical !
