Katrin is an excellent host. She has the ability to resolve any unforeseen issues that may arise at the last minute and is always ready to help with whatever is needed. We will definitely return to the properties he manages, because apart from being managed by someone very capable, they are an excellent option.

The accommodation is very well located, in a quiet and pleasant environment. We even had the chance to see toucans and monkeys from the pool! Katrin is very nice and available.

The house is beautiful, super quiet and well equipped. It was very comfortable, everything was very clean, and the place is easy to access.

We absolutely loved our stay at Katrin’s gorgeous home. The property is located right on the edge of the jungle which was amazing. The sounds of the jungle were absolutely incredible and we were visited by some cheeky monkeys, beautiful toucans and noisy parrots. The facilities in the house were great. The pool was amazing to swim in and the outside area was lovely and open - especially with the big windows that open out. The rooms were really cosy and clean and a good size. The kitchen and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Really felt like a home away from home. We didn’t hire a car as we were a bit nervous of driving on the opposite side of the road, we managed with buses and the occasional taxi. Most people seem to hire a car, but it is possible without. Katrin was a brilliant host, prompt communication, very generous with her time and advice. Would absolutely love to stay again, we will miss our stay in the jungle. Would absolutely recommend.

Lovely place with a pool and wildlife visits. Katrin is a nice and attentive host!

Fabulous two bedroom house. We loved the pool and appreciated the washing machine and dishwasher. Everything is exactly as advertised. As with most houses In Costa Rica the main living space is open through screens to outdoors (but there’s ac in the bedrooms) — this worked just fine for us but it’s something to be aware of And of course is crystal clear in the listing. Katrin was incredibly helpful and was super responsive. Five stars.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Katrins place in July 2026. We stayed as a family of four for four nights and could have stayed longer. The house is beautiful: just like the pictures. The kitchen was ideal for preparing meals and the ac in the bedrooms was very useful at night. The joint stars of the show though are the pool and the laundry facilities!! The pool was just perfect whether chilling out, or for relaxing after a days activities. We couldn’t get our kids out. And, as mentioned, you’ll almost certainly be visited by the troop of squirrel monkeys who pass by. This really was one of the highlights of our whole Costa Rica holiday!! If you’ve travelled round this area you will know: nothing dries in the humidity and if you’re anything like us (Scottish!!!) you’ll sweat your clothes through in 5 seconds of putting them on. So being able to clean some clothes halfway through our trip was a lifesaver. What a place!!!! We would love to come back!

We had a fantastic stay at Katrin's place in Costa Rica! The home was beautiful, spotless, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We especially loved the incredible views and waking up to the sounds of the local wildlife—it made the experience feel truly authentic. Having a washer and dryer was such a wonderful convenience, especially during our trip. Katrin was an exceptional host. She responded quickly to every message and was always kind and patient while answering my many questions before and during our stay. One of the highlights of our vacation was the authentic Costa Rican dinner that Katrin arranged with a private chef. The meal was absolutely delicious and gave us a memorable taste of the local cuisine. We truly had an amazing vacation in Costa Rica, and Katrin's hospitality played a big part in making it so special. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend her home to anyone visiting the area!
