Manuel Antonio
Manuel Antonio is a coastal paradise where monkeys and sloths are your neighbors. The area features a scenic mountain ridge with stunning ocean-view dining and luxury stays, all leading down to the crystal-clear waters of Playa Espadilla.

Manuel Antonio is less a single downtown than a strip from the Quepos road over the forested ridge down to Playa Espadilla and Manuel Antonio National Park. The park is the draw - trails, wildlife and park beaches - while Espadilla is the main swimming beach.
Stays cluster on the hill (views, restaurants, spread-out), near the village/beach (walkable to sand and park shuttles), or quieter toward Punta Quepos. Expect wildlife around hotels and the forest edge; bring a car or plan on taxis/buses - the hill is steep.
Choose Manuel Antonio for park mornings and beach afternoons. Choose Quepos Town & Marina for fishing, boats and a fun around town.
