The Space

On the right side of the hallway is a bathroom with a shower. To the left, stairs lead down to the lower level.
The lower floor offers an open-concept living area with a fully equipped, spacious kitchen suitable for preparing any meal. The living room includes a large, comfortable sofa facing the TV and a cozy reading nook with a recliner chair. Adjacent to the kitchen is a small desk area ideal for work or study. Behind the kitchen, there is a second bathroom.
The expansive infinity pool terrace is furnished with dining furniture, two sun loungers, and an outdoor shower. From here, you can access the laundry room, which contains a washer and dryer. The outdoor kitchen includes a gas barbecue grill, perfect for cooking while enjoying views of the jungle. A bench nearby offers a peaceful spot to observe nature and wildlife.
All hot water in the house is supplied by a solar system on the roof, ensuring hot water availability even during occasional power outages.

The house was in a good location and was spacious, but the cleanliness left much to be desired. A cleaning and maintenance touch-up is needed (a lot of dirt under the beds, odor...). And additionally, although we know we are in nature, we had to get rid of 5 cockroaches in the kitchen and bedrooms. Although the pool was clean, it is in very bad shape and needs repairs. I cut myself going up the stairs.

Unfortunately we had to cancel our plans to stay at this beautiful house, but Karsten helped us to obtain a refund of our money, and for that, we are thankful to her and will certainly plan to stay here in the future!

We had a fantastic stay in this wonderful Airbnb. Great space, lovely pool & easy to walk to restaurants and bus stop. Communication was fantastic with local recommendations & flexibility during check out when we needed to stay on a little longer to sort an issue with our flight (as no immediate follow on booking). Would highly recommend!

We had a great stay as a family! The host was very responsive and answered my questions almost immediately. She was so friendly and offered lots of helpful tips about the area! The house was comfortable and felt very safe. We loved the beautiful yard and pool. Definitely a great stay in the Manuel Antonio area. We hope to come back another time!
