John's house was a huge hit with our family. The outdoor space was really special. A hottub and swimming pool with an “infinity wall" at the end and a gate leading out onto a beautiful pacific beach. Macaws and monkeys in the trees, basilisk lizards and agoutis roaming the garden. Inside was very well appointed, beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. It's also probably the closest house to Manual Antonio National Park. It was great to leave the car behind, walk though our garden gate onto the beach and take a 15 minute walk to get there. We highly recommend John’s house.

Beautiful! It’s a short drive to great restaurants. We saw a lot monkeys, a sloth with a baby right in the backyard. There were macaws too! Lots of nature and animals to see. The beach access is perfect for families. If you stay here, you will love it! Thank you, Fabian, Manuela and Juan for all the help!

Beautiful home that feels private despite being in heart of resort beach with walking access to Manuel Antonio park. Visited by Scarlet Macaws, toucans, capuchins and more while around the pool!

We had an amazing stay at the discovery beach house. Having the private pool and hot tub and being able to walk out to the beach was exactly what we wanted. Location is pristine. We loved all the monkeys and other animals that visited daily. Saw more animals here than at Manuel Antonio NP. House was very nice. Fabian was an extraordinary concierge! Booked all our excursions and made it so easy. Was the perfect stay in Costa Rica. Highly satisfied and definitely would recommend.

We really enjoyed the unique pool home with gated beach access. Gorgeous beach just steps out the door. We really loved the Manuel Antonio restaurants and national park close by. This home was one to remember. The private chef was excellent. We saw some monkeys from the balcony, along with lots of Agouti, and iguana. We felt very safe behind the gates drive. Our family had a blast!

John’s beach house exceeded all of our expectations. The location is absolutely unbeatable. Right on the beach, yet private and peaceful. We loved both the pool and the beach, while also being able to walk to restaurants, shops, and water activities like surfing, parasailing, and jet skiing. Fabian was an outstanding host who helped arrange transportation, chef, cleaning services, and promptly answered all of our questions. The groundskeepers were incredibly friendly and hospitable, even taking the time to show us local wildlife near the house including a sloth and macaws. We traveled with both young children and grandparents, and everyone found something to enjoy. The daily visits from monkeys and iguanas around the pool and garden made the experience even more special. Between the stunning views, amazing wildlife, and exceptional hospitality, this was truly an unforgettable stay. This place is more than worth the price, and we hope to return again.

A remarkable place with an amazing pool, short walk through the trees to the beach, and decorations throughout the house reflecting the family’s travels around the world. There is a highly responsive team available to help as needed. The afternoon monkey visits and other animals around the yard were about as immersive a Costa Rican experience as you could imagine. Highly recommend and expect a unique experience!

Unique home with character and all the amenities needed to have a perfect vacation in Costa Rica. Location was outstanding, offering privacy in a very busy area, direct access to a beautiful beach and a large swimming pool, hot tub- what else could you want? Well, how about monkeys, toucans and agoutis visiting daily. The house was so interesting with a tasteful monkey themed decorations. Easter island, Bhutan, African artifacts were also featured throughout the house. The kitchen was also well laid out and organized logically. Easy to cook meals although there we frequented restaurants recommended by the always helpful host John. All were excellent. Best part of the location was that we were in walking distance to Manual Antonio. Would we come to this house again? Absolutely !

Beautiful home in amazing location on the beach. The pool and hottub and beach front access were fantastic. staff on site were friendly and helpful and yet it still felt private. loved the nature encounters outside. will definitely return with my family!
