Our listing clearly notes that air conditioning is provided in the bedrooms only, while the home's common areas are open-air by design to take advantage of the tropical setting and surrounding nature. Likewise, the jacuzzi is listed as non-heated, and this is also included in our house rules, so guests know what to expect before booking.<br/>As you mentioned, the roads in this area can be steep and adventurous, which is typical for this beautiful part of Costa Rica.
