Our stay was more than excellent. Everything described about the place is accurate. Everything is very clean and comfortable. It's like being at home! Communication with the host was excellent and quick. The pool is the best part. My kids had a lot of fun. It's close to the beach and has a very nice view. I would rent this house again. Highly recommended. Thank you very much for your kindness. :)

The location is good. It's quiet and safe, and has a pool, washing machine, clothes dryer and hair dryer. It's a good place. 100% recommended for adults. I don't recommend it for children because of the stairs that connect to the living room and bedrooms. Judith always responded quickly, was attentive to any questions, and helped us solve problems. The daily cleaning of the patio and pool was also good. Having jugs of drinking water is a plus and helped us a lot. It was a very good stay.

It's a great place to stay. You have everything close by. You're steps from the beach and everything you need. It has a great location, 10-star facilities and great communication ✨️

I stayed here with 3 friends for several nights in celebration of a birthday. From booking to check-out every detail was perfect. Upon booking I had multiple points of contact offering various services to make my stay perfect. Checkin was easy and frictionless. The moment we walked in we felt like home. It's beautifully decorated, the beds and linens were so comfortable, and anything you might possibly need to cook is provided. Location was perfect, as it was close to whatever we needed. I highly recommend staying here, and looking forward to coming back.

The only issue is the complicated access. The accommodation itself is perfect, with excellent cleanliness and maintenance, and it's close to everything. We could walk 5 minutes to reach the tourist area, but the place was not in a very noisy area, so we had a great rest. One nice touch that we loved was arriving and finding drinking water available, which we had not experienced at other accommodations. The host's attention was excellent. She was very approachable and willing to negotiate according to our requirements. We would definitely return.

Excellent service, perfect location and amenities were as expected. House and pool were clean. It was a great experience staying there and we were even allowed to leave our luggage before the check in, which was greatly appreciated.

I really enjoyed my stay! The pool was definitely a highlight, and I appreciated that there were plenty of towels provided for everyone. The host was also very responsive and made sure to address my questions in a timely manner, which made the stay much easier. One thing that could have been clearer was the bedding arrangement, as it was a little difficult to understand beforehand. Also, the extra room was a bit unsettling for my kids and made them feel scared at times. Aside from those things, we had a pleasant stay and appreciated the host’s attentiveness and hospitality.

Completely worth it. Very good area and at a spectacular price for the number of people I was traveling with.

Place was phenomenal. We really enjoyed our stay, the house made our trip to have a beautiful comfortable place to come back to every night. The kitchen is stocked if you decide you don’t want to eat out. You’ll love every bit of it.

Anytime we had a question or minor issue, the host responded immediately, walked us through solutions, and when needed, quickly sent team members to resolve it in person. Their level of service and professionalism is unmatched. They also offer outstanding concierge-style services, including private chefs, massages, housekeeping, excursions, and other local experiences that made our trip even more memorable. One of our favorite touches was their use of technology. They provided custom Google Maps with pinned recommendations for restaurants, beaches, attractions, and other local favorites, making it incredibly easy to explore Playa del Carmen. We highly recommend staying here and would absolutely book with them again!

We had a fantastic stay at Villa La Perla and a really unforgettable time with a group of 8 girls total for a bachelorette trip. I believe the house would comfortably fit 9. There are so many spaces to enjoy and the pool was very clean. The beds were all comfortable. We also loved cooking in the large kitchen and there was plenty of drinking water available. The neighborhood is safe and well patrolled. We enjoyed a day pass at the Sunset fishermen resort next door. The hosts are accommodating and communicate well. The only small criticism we had was that a few snacks and coffee grounds would have been nice to have upon arrival considering that this place is quite luxurious and expensive. Also, a binder with recommendations and tips would have also been useful. The host does provide some of the information in messages, but it would have also been nice to have some printed information available. Overall we had an exceptional stay and would definitely stay again!!!

We had a great time with our family and friends at this airb&b. The pool area was nice and beach was a close walking distance. The home is not like the upgraded modern homes but really liked that it felt like a real spanish home.

It has a good location. It is practically on 5th Avenue and a few steps from the beach. In addition, there is a lot of vegetation across the street that provides a special view.

Excellent location, right on 5th Avenue! Within steps we had access to restaurants, bars, shopping, food stands, local vendors, and convenience stores. Within steps we also had access to the beach, tour booths, bus stops, and a ferry terminal. Wal-mart was a short 15 minute walk.

This was a beautiful home with lots of lounging areas. We enjoyed the outdoors around the house, the beach and the quick walk to 5th Avenue.

Our group had a wonderful time here! There was plenty of room for everybody and the location was amazing. We’ll definitely stay here again if we’re ever back in Playa Del Carmen.

Daniel/Kimberly's Villa AND recommended in-home chef's were the reason we had the best vacation of recent years. The villa is truly stunning. It is a private oasis that is larger than we originally thought from the photos. We had jaws on the floor as we walked in as a group. We had a party of 9 and all we're comfortable! The community surrounding is a gorgeous walkable gated neighborhood, with many close access points to a stunning beachfront. The staff was so quick and responsive with requests! Also the property did provide us with filtered water from a special spout in the kitchen next to the sink!

We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed our time here. The home was comfortable, well prepared, and had everything we needed. We were especially grateful for the generous amount of towels provided, it made things very convenient for our group. Kim was awesome with recommendations and additional information throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. We also felt very safe in the neighborhood, which made the trip even more relaxing. The space worked perfectly for us and made our time in Playa del Carmen even more enjoyable. We would absolutely stay here again and would happily recommend it to others!

Daniel and Kimberly were wonderful hosts, and went out of their way to make sure our experience was a good one. They even connected us with on-call staff who did some pre-shopping for our kitchen, which was wonderfully helpful.

Great place to stay close to the main strip and beach!

Our stay at the Castillos I was great. Kimberly and Daniel were very responsive, informative and communicative. They provided ample information about the stay including recommendations of places to go and great contacts to use for our excursions, transportation and services. Everyone they recommended was great and prices were reasonable. Regarding the Airbnb itself, the location was perfect. Walking distance to 5th Ave and the beach made it extremely convenient. We felt safe in a gated area with security at the entrance. The Airbnb is more like 3 small apartments rather than one large house however, it worked out well for our large family of 17 people. If you are booking for a large party you should consider that there are A LOT of stairs. We placed our elderly family members on the first floor. We also had to share the pool and outside lounge area with the Castillos II next door but luckily, no one stayed there most of our week long trip so that wasn’t much of an issue. Great stay!

From check in to check out, our stay at Villa La Perla was wonderful! The home is truly gorgeous, so well decorated, spacious, and lush. We were so impressed when we arrived. All of the beds were extremely comfortable and we had everything we needed during our stay. If we needed anything or had questions, the team on site responded so quickly and were very helpful. This neighborhood is so special, feels safe, easy to navigate and close to shops, convenience stores, and restaurants! We really enjoyed being in a community rather than limited to a hotel. The villa is a 1 minute walk from the gorgeous beach and surrounded by lush gardens and a view of the ocean. We loved waking up to the sounds of the birds and being able to get to the beach quickly. The kitchen has everything you need. The pool is perfect and we loved spending time in the outdoor space. We didn’t want to leave!!

This is a beautiful house in a great location. Very short walk to the beach and felt very safe in the community. Communication from Daniel and Kimberly was excellent - they were very helpful, responsive and accommodating. Would love to go back!

We had a great stay overall. The home is beautiful, well located, and clearly well cared for. The location was especially convenient and made our trip easy and enjoyable. There are a few areas where some small upgrades could elevate the experience even more, particularly in the kitchen and with light control and privacy in the bedrooms. Nothing that detracted significantly from our stay, but worth noting for guests who place a high value on those details. That said, we would absolutely stay here again and appreciate the effort that’s gone into creating such a lovely space.

This property was beautiful. The hosts took such great care of us. We booked this as a last-minute trip and they were so accommodating and took care of our every need. They had details to share for everything you could ever imagine. The home is located in a private neighborhood that was a small walk from the beach. The cobblestone Rhodes and ruins made it a perfect little escape. Judith and Danny or such gracious hosts, they went out of their way to make sure everything we could've needed was taken care of. They even brought my son's lovey back to him late at night when it accidentally went out with the washing. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved staying here with our two families. Plenty of room for everyone, the pool is nice and deep, and everything is nearby. The host recommended a private chef and our meals became the highlight of the trip!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Mayan Breeze ! The grounds were amazing we saw so much wild life which our kids loved !! It is walking distance to the beach and shops ! Truly the best area. Our only problem was that we couldn’t stay longer !! We will definitely be returning to spend more time .. we loved the traditional feel of the home & honestly the location & grounds are unbeatable

We rented the entire place for a week, it was as listed, nice location and plenty of room. The unit could use some furniture updating but other than that it was an enjoyably week for myself and family.

We stayed here for my bachelorette with 11 people and had an amazing time! Sleeping arrangements were a little tight, but the house itself was gorgeous — even better in person than in the photos. There are plenty of great hangout areas, and the décor and vibe made the whole weekend feel so special. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great time at Daniel’s and Kimberly’s place. Great location, close enough to 5ta Avenida to walk in less than 5 mins. Yet far enough to not deal with the noise from La 5ta ave. 2 min walk to the beach, and just a great house and location for a family location. I’d stay here again when I come back if it’s a large group ( 8 of us this trip).

We had a really great stay overall. The check-in process was smooth and communication with the hosts was excellent. They were quick to respond and even stopped by to help when needed. The location was perfect, close to both the beach and the main hotel area. As a few other guests mentioned, some parts of the apartment are a little worn down, and the standards are more in line with what you’d expect in Mexico rather than the U.S. We paid our deposit and were a little nervous because of those worn areas and a few things that weren’t functioning properly, wondering if it might cause a problem. Ultimately, we got the deposit back without any hassle, and everything worked out great. Overall, we had a really fun time, everything functioned as it should, and the hosts were wonderful to work with. We’d happily stay again.

Excellent accommodation, minutes walk from the beach and 5th Avenue, the apartments are very comfortable and spacious, the kitchen has everything to cook, as well as the oil and salt that is appreciated; we only had a detail in 1 room but in less than 15 minutes we already had someone solving it, we would definitely return.

Beautiful Stay in Playacar! Our stay at this Airbnb in Playacar was absolutely perfect! The location couldn’t have been better — quiet, safe, and surrounded by lush greenery, yet just a short walk or bike ride to the beach and downtown Playa del Carmen. The gated community made us feel secure and peaceful the entire time. The home itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed, comfortable beds and fast Wi-Fi. The private patio and pool area were great. Our host was incredibly kind and responsive. They provided great local recommendations for restaurants, and was very helpful throughout the stay. 100% would recommend staying here!.
