Overall, the island house was a great place for our family’s needs. The housekeeper, Mary, was phenomenal. She went above and beyond for our family and we cannot thank her enough! We were under the assumption we had access to the laundry room, but the housekeeper only has access. The housekeeper handled all of our laundry needs. I also want to thank Rose for her support. I could not rate this property 5 stars, as we experienced some issues throughout the stay. It appeared they have an ant issue. Based on the geographical location, we are aware there will be animals and insects. However, some of the guests were awoken by ants crawling in their beds; particularly the room where the bunk beds are and the kitchen. The TVs were not functioning properly. The hot tub was losing water at various times and required refilling. We also did not have running water for about a hour. Customer service was great. They responded to our questions, requests, and handled our concerns in a timely manner!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing stay at this beautiful villa in Costa Rica! I came with four friends to celebrate my birthday, and the entire experience was perfect. The home was extremely clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Having a housekeeper come daily was such a nice touch and made our stay feel even more relaxing and luxurious. The outdoor grounds were absolutely fabulous, beautiful, peaceful, and even better than we expected. We spent so much time outside just enjoying the property and the Costa Rican atmosphere. Our host was wonderful, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. This villa was the perfect place for my birthday celebration and a memorable trip with friends. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Sanctuary was absolutely perfect for our family vacation. the home is beautiful, the beds are comfortable, everything was pristine, and the outdoor living space was what made the house! We grilled out.multiole nights and watched the monkeys and birds play in the trees. We would definitely visit again.

I rarely write reviews but felt compelled following our stay at the Island House. We were a group of two families, with 4 boys and the house was wonderful! A few comments for those considering a stay: 1. Mary (the housekeeper) comes daily and she is INCREDIBLE. Mary is lovely, cleans and does laundry daily and will cook breakfast daily. Truly a break for parents on vacation. 2. We hired Chef Daniel for brunch and dinner during our stay and he was fantastic. He was great with our boys and the food was delicious. Cannot recommend him enough!! 3. The main road into Pinilla is under construction which significantly altered how we spent our time. The alt route is a bumpy dirt road for 25 mins, you can’t just “run out”. You get used to it but it is an inconvenience and I wish I had known prior to booking. 4. The house has a troop of monkeys that like to visit in the mornings and they are awesome. 5. Pass on golf carts - not necessary or worth the money. Easy enough to just take a car.

Our stay at Casa Prana was nothing short of exceptional! While the home itself is absolutely gorgeous, the highlight of our trip was the incredible host and entire team. The communication was outstanding from beginning to end and they went above and beyond to make our vacation seamless and memorable. Their recommendations for local restaurants and excursions were spot on. The home was beautifully designed and perfectly laid out for 2 families, providing plenty of space and privacy for everyone to relax & enjoy time together. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked and having a washer / dryer was very convenient. We also greatly appreciated the housekeeper each morning, loved having access to the beach club facilities and found that renting a car was definitely worthwhile as it made it easy to explore the area. Every detail of our stay reflected the care and attention of the host/team and their hospitality truly made this an unforgettable vacation! Highly recommend Casa Prana!!

Casa Ola Aloha was absolutely beautiful. The pictures don’t do it justice! Was perfect for our group of 8 and the kids absolutely loved the kids room! Very relaxing trip!

Great House for entertaining. The privacy is nice, but not much is close by. A rental car is a MUST as nothing is really within walking distance. The dirt road leading up to the resort/development is a bit rough as well. Make sure to have a car with clearance and perhaps a 4 wheel drive. I can’t imagine some of those dirt roads after heavy rains. With road construction, it was closer to 45 min to Tamarindo. Maybe when the new road opens, it’ll be closer? Also, the listing stated that laundry facilities were available, however the owner keeps the laundry room locked up and the housekeeper is solely responsible for doing your laundry which we felt was a bit misleading and obviously preferred to do our own laundry on our own time. The chef/housekeeper although is a nice touch, is only available during morning hours. Overall it was a really nice home, and I’d be happy to stay there again. The team was really responsive to our requests, and was really helpful at times.

It's a magical place! I fell in love! So in love that I want a house just like it! Highly recommended! Excellent for groups! The cleaning lady was super friendly and a good person. The host who looked after us by cell phone came to introduce herself in person and was always super attentive! Very, very grateful!!

We had an incredible stay at Casa Kuru. The home was beautiful, well maintained, and very clean. A housekeeper came every morning to maintain. Joel was very helpful in answering all of our questions about the area and activities. Would highly recommend.

This was a very enjoyable stay. We have been to Costa Rica a few times and this was a great home. We were familiar with the area and picked this house because of previous experiences. It has a great location away from traffic yet close to the beach. We will stay again.
