Overall, we had a good stay. The apartment was clean and in a great location. The only downsides were the power outages and noise from construction. I think this is a good option for families with kids, especially if you plan to cook, since the apartment has a kitchen. However, if you’re traveling as a couple, I would recommend booking the Diria Hotel instead. The apartment building is part of the hotel, but I think staying in the hotel itself might have been a better fit for us.

This property is located in the center of Tamarindo, across the street from the beach, within walking distance to the shops, restaurants, and the beach. There is free parking at the building, 24-hour security on site, beautiful grounds, and a large, scenic shared pool. The condo is on the second floor, offering a nice view. Comfortable and fully equipped, it is perfect for families and friends. The local electrical company has been working on replacing all the electrical lines around Tamairndo since August, and this has caused several power outages for the whole community and neighborhood. This did not affect only the Diria development. We have sadly no control over this type of circumstance. Every unit is individually owned and represented. We manage only this condo. The construction noise comes from another unit we do not represent. Sorry.

We couldn't have picked a better home base for our Tamarindo trip. The views from this condo are incredible, and some of our favorite moments were playing cards outside while the sun set. We even spotted monkeys from the deck! The host was absolutely wonderful and had super recommendations for everything. You truly can't go wrong following their restaurant and activity suggestions. The location is so convenient. We rented a golf cart, but we could also walk to many places, including breakfast, dinner, and the beaches. The area always felt safe, and people were friendly. There were four adults in our group and we had plenty of space. We didn't even use the third bedroom, so larger groups will be very comfortable here. After long days in the sun, coming back to cool AC was a real treat, and we used the pool nearly every day. If you want a relaxing place with amazing views, a great location, and a host who knows the area inside and out, this is it. We'll definitely be back

Thank you for your stay at La Cometa! This property is located in the center of Tamarindo, with easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. There is no need to have a vehicle, as everything is close by; however, if you drive, you can use the free parking inside the complex. The facilities also offer a shared pool. Unit 19 is a very comfortable apartment on the second floor that has a rooftop terrace overlooking the town. It is very well equipped with 2 bedrooms and can accommodate a maximum of 5 people. Ideal for families and friends.

Thank you for your stay at Casa Oro del Sol 16. This house is located on the outskirts of Tamarindo, just 800 meters from downtown and the beach, in a very quiet neighborhood surrounded by nature. The property is well gated, offering a lot of privacy. It has room to park up to two medium-sized vehicles. It also has a nice outdoor area with grass and a private pool. The interior of the house is spacious, bright and very cozy. The kitchen is fully equipped. The house has air conditioning in all its interior spaces, cable TV, internet, washer and dryer. Two of its three bedrooms are on the ground floor and the third is on the second floor. All three have their own private bathrooms. An ideal house for families and small groups of friends.

Thank you for staying at Sunrise 30 for your Tamarindo vacation. This complex is ideally located in the town, centrally located, across the street from the beach. You can walk to restaurants and stores without needing a vehicle, but if you come by car, you can use the free parking space assigned to each unit. Sunrise has 24-hour security, open common areas, and a shared pool. Condo 30 is located on the second floor. The building has stairs but also has an elevator. Due to the location of the complex, the condominium does not offer a real ocean view, but rather a very partial one. It is a spacious unit with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, ideal for small groups and large families. It also has air conditioning in all spaces of the apartment, cable TV, internet, washer and dryer.

Our stay at Casa Colorado was fantastic. There was lots of space for everyone. We travelled with a group of 7, Two couples and 3 kids. We loved that every room had a private bathroom. The pool and backyard was beautiful and a peaceful place to relax. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had prior to arriving and helpful when we had two small issues during our stay.

Beautiful condo. Incredible view and sunsets. Spacious, well kept. Proactive and responsive management company. Quiet since low season which suited us. Rented a golf cart for the week which was perfect for booting around Tamarindo. We had some epic meals. Pura Vida!

Amazing location and a beautiful home! The pool was absolutely wonderful and the perfect place to relax after a day at the beach. We loved spending time outside in the evenings. The home was spotless, well-maintained, and within walking distance to town, making it incredibly convenient. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it!

My family really enjoyed our stay. The condo was large and had everything that we needed and more. It was walking distance to everything. We parked our car after getting groceries on our first night and that is where it stayed. We walked to some really great restaurants, shopped, and had several days of surf lessons. The pool area was nice to relax in during our downtime. Spent all of our mornings and evenings sitting on the balcony, listening to howler monkeys. Aside from the place itself, I had a really great experience with management. I left some very important things there, and they were on top of helping me figure out what the next steps were going to be. The response time from when I realized that I left these items was almost immediate, and they kept in contact with me constantly until we had everything figured out. I was so thankful for that. I would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely setting, loved the pool. The condo provided for all our needs for a family of 5. Plenty of beds and bathrooms and loved being able to cook some meals. We did not have a car and it was very walkable and nice neighborhood that filled all our needs. Loved the rooftop terrace. Overall the hosts were responsive and helpful. We had an absolutely amazing stay at this property! The house is beautifully detailed with top-of-the-line finishes, fantastic air conditioning, and a spacious, inviting layout that made our whole family feel right at home and extremely comfortable. We felt completely safe throughout our entire trip. Our family spent every single day enjoying the private pool, and the location in Langosta could not have been better. The local beaches were quiet and uncrowded, and getting into Tamarindo was a quick and easy walk or drive whenever we wanted to explore. To top it all off, the property manager was super responsive, attentive, and took incredible care of us from start to finish. Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay—we already can't wait to come back!

Lola was a great host! They organized our transfers to and from the airport, gave recommendations for other things to do and responded to all emails. The place is fabulous! Just like the pictures! It is walkable but also room for your golf cart- which we used pacific coast golf carts and they were also fabulous! The security made us feel so secure and safe! The beach is so close and the pool was fabulous! Laundry in unit was amazing! The balcony for sunset was perfect! Would absolutely stay here again!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is the third time we have come to this residence. Nice location, very close to Tamarindo but much quieter. Pleasant, quiet residence with a beautiful pool. Parking for 1 vehicle. Well-arranged apartment, ideal for 6 people (3 bedrooms), and very well-equipped. Some technical issues that should be resolved. Communication with the manager is very smooth.

This would be 5 stars as the apartment and location were excellent, but unfortunately an adjacent unit was in the middle of a remodel. The amount of noise prevented occupation of the apartment from 8:30-12 and 1-5: sleeping in or making bfast was not an option. We still gave it a 4 due to this largely not being an issue as the surrounding location provided ample opportunities. The claimed lack of knowledge of the remodel did not change our experience and we hope that they will improve future communications to prevent similar occurrences.

It is part of a high-end condo complex with a large shared scenic pool and wet bar, beautiful grounds, free parking, and security on site 24 hours a day. The unit is on the second floor. It comes nicely decorated and furnished in a beach style, fully equipped with a/c in every space, cable tv, internet, a full kitchen, safety box, washer and dryer. We manage this nice unit but not the building association. Sadly, the works close this unit was not shared with us not the schedules for the work happening there. We understand having a unit remodelled around the building is not an ideal scenario, unfortunately not something we have any control over. This was an excellent Condo for our family of 4 (two adults, kids 9&11)to stay in while we were in Tamarindo. We actually stayed in both the Diria hotel and then this condo, and we much preferred the condo accommodation. The location was great. It felt secure and had a really nice pool area. We went in July 2026 and there were always chairs available at the pool. The condo itself had everything we needed. It was well stocked, the AC worked well and it was really nice to have in-suite laundry. We would definitely try and stay here again in the future.

If you have a vehicle, you can park for free at this complex. If you don't bring a car, you don't need to rent one since everything is within walking distance. It is also a quiet and safe property, ideal for families or small groups of friends. It has 24-hour security, easy access, an elevator in each tower and a very nice pool area shared by all the units. Condominium 30 is on the second floor with a very partial ocean view. It is comfortable and offers everything you need, from an equipped kitchen, A/C in all rooms, internet, washer and dryer. It has 3 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 10 people.

This was our second time staying at Matapalo. We love the area, the resort grounds, and the proximity to bars, restaurants and the beach. The unit was spotless, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for the week. The welcome gifts were such a nice surprise too. Any questions we had were answered quickly by the host. I would highly recommend this Airbnb! We will definitely be back!

Our stay with Tropical Vacations in Playa Langosta was incredible. The home was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything our family needed. The ocean views, pool, sunsets, sunrises, and the sounds of the howler monkeys made for an unforgettable vacation. The welcome gift of local coffee, homemade bread, and chimichurri was such a thoughtful touch after a long travel day. The location was perfect—close to Tamarindo but peaceful and private. The A/C worked great, and the home truly felt like home. Our only suggestion would be to let guests know when the pool service is scheduled, as we unexpectedly ran into the pool technician one morning. We also arrived while the housekeeper was finishing up, but she was incredibly kind and welcoming, so it wasn’t an issue at all. We made lifelong family memories here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at Villa Secreta with our family of 5.The home is absolutely beautiful. It feels like a family home, not just a commercial rental with how well stocked the kitchen and necessities were. The location is a perfect walking distance to the beach, stores, and restaurants. We frequented the coffee shop and restaurant at the end of the road several times during the week for a quick bite or drink on the way to the beach. The beds and linens were great and adequate shade in the bedrooms provided a great nights sleep - or lazy sleep in past sunrise. We enjoyed seeing howler monkeys in the trees, iguanas, lots of interesting insects in the area (as to be expected in a tropical environment). The pool was lovely and concierge service was fantastic - we used it to arrange airport transportation, as well as fishing, sloth sighting, and zip line excursions. Lola was extremely helpful and responsive. Would give more than 5 stars if I could! Book it - it’s worth it

You are a short 15-minute walk to Tamarindo, which is the center of activities where to find the shops and most of the restaurants, but you still have a few great options to eat close to the house. The house offers great outdoor spaces. You can park at least two cars inside. On the other side, you can enjoy a very nice terrace, a luxurious garden, and the private pool. It is a fully equipped home with a full kitchen and modern decoration. It has a/c in every room, a laundry space, attached bathrooms for each bedroom, cable tv, internet, BBQ outside. Villa Secreta is perfect to relax. Ideal for families with kids or groups of friends.

Just maybe add that when they first start seeing the signs for the condos on the left that they realize they have to take the dirt road right after the Condos and go the backside which is where the villa number six is we figured it out, but it took us one try otherwise this day was amazing absolutely beautiful. The home was pristine clean plenty of space for everybody to spread out. The accommodations were immaculate. Highly recommend for Tamarindo.

To begin with we were asked for passport before arrival for what the host said "smooth check in". So we shared the copies before we arrived. Upon arrival we are asked for passport copies. Once we get to our unit the floors are dirty. This oily slippery residue. The unit was hot even after hours of running the AC the Master bedroom was not cool like the rest of the unit. They came to address both issues. They claimed the AC is working fine in the master. The cleaning lady came to mop and the floor was better not still not clean. They had a floor fan so we put that by the master door to draw the cool air into the bedroom for our entire stay. After check out we get a note that there was damage to a patio chair due to smoking. Mind you no one smokes in our family which are mainly minors. And some stain on a towel which we washed all towels after use. Absolutely horrible management. We over paid for what we experienced. They only good of the unit is location, pool area and resort access

We loved our stay in Tamarindo. The location was perfect to be able to walk to so many restaurants, shops and super close to the beach but also back off the main road enough that it was not noisy. The Saturday market was very close as well. My only critique is that in the listing it says there is "1 free parking space". What I wish it said was parking is first come first served. When we arrived there was no parking available and there wasn't for our entire 3 night stay. Thankfully we did find street parking very close to the unit but I do wish the listing would have been a little more clear on that. The house was perfect for my husband and I as well as another couple that stayed with us. The private rooftop terrace was awesome to go up at night and just take in all of Tamarindo. If we ever come back I would definitely stay here again!!

Such a lovely stay! Plenty of rooms, beautiful views especially the sunset. Located a few minutes from the beach or downtown. We played games, relaxed in the pool & felt spoiled by the owners with their gifts upon our arrival and prompt responses to our questions. An abundance of pool & beach items were provided to make our adventures complete: chairs, umbrellas, cooler bags, etc. Thank you so much, 5 stars!

It was like a home away from home with everything we needed and more! The view was absolutely stunning. I don’t think this condo gets enough credit for the view! I loved the hammock and the extra touch of having magazines and travel books (which I forgot). My boyfriend loved cooking a steak on the grill. The location is perfect, but remember to bring your walking shoes and know there are a hills and stairs. Costa Rica is an active destination, which is my favorite, but not for all physical types. I have stayed in another condo at the same property, but this place really felt like a home.

Quick walking distance to just about everything. For the group activities that occurred at the pool, which was fabulous. By the way, everything ended at an appropriate hour. Compared to some of the other properties I looked at it definitely had the best pool and I really like the safety and privacy of the whole complex. The room stayed cool in the water was strong. I mentioned those two things because often in Costa Rica you can’t find those.

You can reach the beach by crossing the street, and so you feel the convenience of being downtown to go to the restaurants and shops, as they are all within walking distance. Unless you want to visit more of the area around, a car is not mandatory when renting this unit. If you drive a car, you have a free parking space at the property. The lagoon pool is large and surrounded by tropical plants with good shade. It is also a very quiet and secure property with 24-hour security on site. The apartment is on the second floor with a good view of the ocean. With 2 bedrooms, it sleeps 4 guests total. We had a wonderful stay here and would definitely come back. The location is perfect — right in the center of Tamarindo, just a 3-minute walk to the beach and only 2 minutes to a grocery store. The property felt very secure with 24-hour security, which gave us great peace of mind. The pool area was awesome, and one of our favorite parts of the stay was the amazing deck off our room that connected to all the rooms. We loved relaxing out there and even saw monkeys right off the deck in the mornings. The condo was very clean overall, and the welcome gifts were such a thoughtful touch. We also really appreciated having the stackable laundry machines — it was so nice coming home without piles of laundry to do. Our state was absolutely amazing. The concierge communicated with us often to make sure we were taken care of. Everything that you need to totally within walking distance. Beach across the street, amazing for sunsets. The side bar restaurant within walking distance has the most friendly and helpful staff. We did visit them more than once and whether you have a car or rent a golf cart. We were a traveling family of five with two small children. My only wish was that there was a gate as an option to cover the stairs and something outside perhaps keep kids away from the pool. But besides that everything was amazing! Highly recommend.

Great place for a family of 4 - lots of space to hang out (living room, balcony), 2 bathrooms, kitchen had everything we needed, lots of towels, pool, etc. Location is a great base of operations but a little too far to walk to town multiple times per day (it's possible, but not ideal in the heat). We rented a golf cart and the kids also used electric scooters to go back & forth in the evening (very convenient!). Condo is right across the road from the beach - great for watching the sunset each night! Would definitely recommend if you want some peace and quiet with a quick 4 min golf cart ride into town.

We loved this house so much! Everyone had their own space and every single chair and bed indoors and out was comfortable to lounge. The linens were so comfy and clean and plentiful too. Our teenage daughters loved snorkeling in the tide pools just down the path from the house. We saw monkeys and raccoons on that path! The sunsets and access to both beaches as well as the beach club were spectacular. We will book again.

Fantastic stay in an unbeatable location. You’re right in the heart of everything - surrounded by great shops and restaurants, with an excellent grocery store just around the corner (we bought supplies near the airport at Wal-Mart, but would have just shopped here if I knew how stocked it was). The beach is only a quick 2-minute walk, which made it incredibly convenient. The condo itself was spotless and felt recently updated. We had a great stay at this lovely beach condo. Location was fabulous—quick walk across the street to the beach, and a 5-10 minute drive to the main city hub of Tamarindo. Our family with kids enjoyed Playa Langosta as a slower, sleepy beach spot convenient to the fun, livelier Tamarindo. Our kids loved the pool and outdoor bathrooms/showers. We had an amazing stay at Oasis Del Mar. The home is just as pictured, but in fact, it is even better in person. The highlight is the infinity pool and outdoor space which centered all of our activities. The home is well equipped and very comfortable all around. We loved the option of opening up the sliding doors all the way to create truly indoor/outdoor living. The home is just a short walk to the beach. You can also walk into town, although it is a long walk when it’s hot and humid outside. Next time we would rent a golf cart. We hired chef Lindell to prepare a dinner for us through AirBNB and it was a highlight of our trip!

Lovely spot for a beach vacation! The apartment was spacious and airy, with a well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. I loved sitting on the balcony and watching the waves and the sunsets. We had a quiet and peaceful stay. There’s a little grocery store just a block away. It’s about a 20 minute walk to Tamarindo, but Ubers are fast and not too expensive. We had a delightful stay.

My family had an absolutely wonderful vacation in Tamarindo! We travelled as a family with our 4 and 8 year old. The condo was just as pictured, and the pool was one of the kids favorite spots (particularly the pool bar). Anything you could need in town is a quick walk, from a grocery store, to any local activities, and restaurants. We stopped at the ice cream store across the street (POPS) way too many times, and enjoyed the restaurant market next to POPs. This is by far one of our favorite vacations we have taken, and can't wait to come back!

We spent a really lovely week of relaxation. We were a family of 5 with older teenagers and a young adult, so the number of beds and bedrooms was very important. The house was bigger than we had imagined. It was a pleasant surprise. The pool was essential because it was very hot during our stay. The extra balcony allowed everyone to have a little privacy when needed. Thank you for everything, and we highly recommend this residence.
