Good location, away from street noise. I didn’t have a great experience though as AC on my bedroom wasn’t working upon my arrival, WIFI didn’t work neither and cleanness of the condo could have been better. If those things were different I’d would have had a good stay; most of the time the co-hosts were answering my messages in a timely manner. The place is beautiful. But because of those issues I left after my second night instead of two weeks as I had planned.

To us, privacy is important in an AirBnb. This space is the loft space of a bigger apartment. To the host, a plant pushed in front of the staircase dividing the two floors is enough to warrant renting out the “two” spaces separately. Essentially if someone was renting the other apartment, they would have access to your space. To be fair, it’s an amazing rooftop space with amazing views of the jungle. What’s not fair is that the pictures must have been taken many years ago because the space is very worn. During our stay at least, the following amenities were listed as available to us but were, in fact, not available: oven, full size fridge, clothing closet, toaster, kettle, bbq grill, yoga mat, surround sound system, cinema space (common space). The room darkening shades have large three to four inch gaps between them letting in light from the porch and making the privacy problem worse. We reached out to the host to address the safety issue and they did not feel it was a concern.

It was good, good place, nice. Quite large, we were 16 people and quite spacious for everyone, however the fact that they are two houses united made us distance a little. The only bad thing I can say is the guard, nothing friendly... since the arrival we asked for help he did not cooperate with anything. Quite rude, he told me that time of arrival that we could not make noise after 10 and it is correct, so it was clarified from the beginning, I kindly told him that we were a big group and to control the sound could be difficult but to let me know and we lowered the noise just that… however, instead of telling us that we were making noise it came from nothing recording us and invading privacy and threatening that I would call the police… The rest was fine, the billiard was a little neglected but from that outside the property was pretty nice.
