Playa Paraiso and the Tulum ruins are less then 10 minutes away by bike. From the property, you're within a 10-min walk to downtown Tulum, including groceries, restaurants, bars, etc. The development is very safe, surrounded by an electric fence with gated entrance and a 24-hour security guard, so only registered guests and owners can enter. As soon as you exit the development, there is a police checkpoint on the main road. We highly recommend biking in Tulum, but there’s dedicated parking if you decide to rent a car.
