Welcome to ALTA, the private rooftop studio at NOCTURNA, overlooking the protected jungle canopy of Tulum National Park.
Designed for up to two guests, the self-contained top-floor studio includes:

ALTA has its own private entrance. The separately accessed two-bedroom residence below, NOVA, may be occupied by other guests.

To us, privacy is important in an AirBnb. This space is the loft space of a bigger apartment. To the host, a plant pushed in front of the staircase dividing the two floors is enough to warrant renting out the “two” spaces separately. Essentially if someone was renting the other apartment, they would have access to your space. To be fair, it’s an amazing rooftop space with amazing views of the jungle. What’s not fair is that the pictures must have been taken many years ago because the space is very worn. During our stay at least, the following amenities were listed as available to us but were, in fact, not available: oven, full size fridge, clothing closet, toaster, kettle, bbq grill, yoga mat, surround sound system, cinema space (common space). The room darkening shades have large three to four inch gaps between them letting in light from the porch and making the privacy problem worse. We reached out to the host to address the safety issue and they did not feel it was a concern.

Beautiful view of Mayan ruins and easy to walk into town. The hosts were so helpful and responsive. The lock on our patio was broken the first night, but they sent someone the next morning to repair it. The WiFi was not available while we were there but when I reached out I was provided an e sim which was very nice of them! They even organized our bike rentals and shuttle services - Valeria is so wonderful! We were very happy with our stay and any concerns we had were quickly assuaged. I would recommend this stay if you want a quiet place to hide away between busy outings!

Beautiful studio penthouse with jungle views and the ruins from afar. You can also watch sunrise and sunset. The hosts were super helpful with any questions we had about the area. They also helped coordinate transportation to restaraunts and the airport.

Overall we had a pleasant stay. We did not rate 5 stars because the pool wasn’t clean, it needed to be scrubbed down. Also the sliding glass door would not lock so we could never feel at ease. The guest Bicycles were either broken or had a flat tire . We would stay here again because these are easy things they can address and probably will soon. Great location to ruins, town, beach

Cozy and clean space, and one of the best hosts I have ever interacted with. This place is a bit smaller than the photos make it appear, but it was not an issue at all. Having a private patio and pool was really nice and access to a hot tub was really nice as well. It’s a short walk into town from here and the staff at the complex are friendly and helpful as well. I would stay here again and I recommend Ben, Miroslava and team are really the best.

This place is wonderful. A stylish glass box in the sky in the middle of the jungle, with an extremely comfortable bed, amazing views, and a heavenly breeze. The private penthouse patio was an amazing spot to hangout, and the bikes that were included were awesome. Plenty within walking/biking distance. Miroslava was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the guards were very kind as well. We felt very safe and would love to return one day. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
