This villa was absolutely stunning! It was clean, comfortable, and extremely roomy for our group of 3. The views here are unmatched. And being able to enjoy them by the pool/jacuzzi with the colored lights is a vibe you dont want to miss. The terrain up the hill is quite difficult but the staff worked hard to make sure we had adequate transportation and were safe at all times. All of the services we booked worked very well for us and the food from the chefs was amazing!! We highly recommend Diana and Hernan and Jeffrey 😊 The Catamaran and ATV sunset cruises were also a lot of fun. Poolside massages were perfect. Costa Rica owes us absolutely nothing ! We would love to come back !!

This is our second time staying in the Pacific Heights of Potrero and we love it! The house was wonderful, plenty of space, huge kitchen, large living areas, office space (I never truly get a vacation), and views! The view was phenomenal! View of Playa Potrero, Flamingo Marina, mountains, and town…it doesn’t get much better. The house was situated between two other house, but you couldn’t see them and they couldn’t see you, very private and peaceful. If this is your first time to Costa Rica, you’ll start looking for a house to buy…you will fall in love with it. PURA VITA!!!

Perfect home with amazing views

Where do I begin… PICTURES DO NOT DO THIS HOUSE JUSTICE! A group of 7 of us stayed here and there was more than enough space, beautiful views (absolutely breathtaking) , easy to find, very clean and good location. Absolutely everything you could ask for and more! Out of all 36 houses I have ever rented I think this was the most equipped. Had Bluetooth speakers, spices, fully stocked kitchen, fully stocked linens and pillows, even had laundry detergent to use. I highly recommend Casa Azula for your stay in Playa Flaminga!

Amazing house with everything you need and beautiful views. Kitchen well stocked. Any issues we had were quickly addressed and communication was responded to very quickly. This house is on a dirt so just be prepared for a bit of a bumpy ride- but well worth it and close to town. We had no problem getting ubers into and out of town at night- but would not say it's the most walkable path up and down but could be done. If you are going to stay here would recommend a car.

Beautiful property , the pictures do not do it justice. They were very responsive and helpful. One thing to note is that the drive up to the property is not easy if you are not accustomed to driving rough terrain. You will definitely need to drive with plenty of caution and a 4 by 4. Other than that we loved the property!

Our family had an amazing time here. The place was stunning with fantastic views. The pictures don’t do it justice. We loved the proximity to town and the beaches, and we enjoyed morning and evening swims in the pool. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place!

I hate to say photos that don’t do a place justice, but this home truly blew me and my family away when we arrived, and photos could just never do it true justice. We knew it would be a beautiful home, but how beautiful it was in person still surprised us. We truly did not want to leave. It was more than enough space two families / 6 people with kids traveling, and being easy to hang out in common areas, but have our own space to relax. The additional casita was so comfortable too. Incredible design, everything from furniture to amenities had amazing quality, excellent wifi, well-stocked, very safe, convenient location. Watching the sun set from this pool is truly a magical experience. Will certainly be coming back here again!

This rental was beautiful for our family of 6, we felt like we were in paradise with the beach and amazing sunsets. The house was spacious and had everything we needed for the week, we loved sitting out on the 1st and 2nd floor patios, lounging in the pool, playing family games in the family room, and watching movies in the family room and kid area. We were there to relax and only left the property once to eat dinner at The Beach House restaurant recommended by the neighbor. The 2 house mom's were wonderful, Fabiola and Rocio - they made delicious breakfast everyday and helped keep the place clean and tidy. The hosts were very responsive with texts and the few questions we had. We highly recommend this beach house in Playa Portero. We would love to return to this paradise, thank you for sharing your home!

We travel quite a bit and have been somewhat let down in previous homes by the photos taken. But this place is photos don't do it justice. As soon as you walk in the door you're greeted with expansive ceilings and the negative edge pool and the ocean. Mic drop. The bedrooms were spotless the appliances were easy to use there was even a bidet in the master! The folks definitely took a lot of time picking the furniture and items they allow you to use. From the chairs you can take to the beach to the floaties to the stackable washer dryer that allow you to do laundry if need be. The house sits on a very tall Hill overlooking everything so every night sunsets are 10 out of 10. Enjoy your stay, we did!

Everything was perfect! The photos are exactly as shown in real life, the location is excellent, and the customer service was outstanding. The hosts were very responsive and quick to answer any questions. The place was also very clean. Highly recommended!

This house is so amazing, it is definitley our favorite house we have ever stayed at with AirBnb. The view is unbelievable, so close to the beach and all the restaurants, we will be back here for sure very soon. The host was very easy to reach and helpful. The house has literally everything you could possibly need. 5 star review is an understatement.

We had a great stay! The location is great if you want to have quick easy access to the beach for surfing or water excursions (fishing and snorkeling). It was very clean and had plenty of towels for all of our activities. The kitchen was decently stocked with equipment for preparing and cooking meals. The view is great and the resident howler monkeys hanging and growling in the nearby trees were a real treat. Communication both pro-active and re-active was great. Only issue…the guards that check you into and out of the property do not speak English and we had the most difficult time communicating with them. They were very pleasant just couldn’t understand us and we couldn’t them every time we were at the gate.

Fantastic location in the heart of Surfside Potrero! Easy walk to the beach, restaurants, breweries, and grocery. Very secure and comfortable. We would definitely return to Casa Tequila.

Our group of 8 people had an amazing stay at this beach house! The home was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. One of the highlights was the wonderful house moms, who prepared a delicious and hearty breakfast every morning and made us feel so welcome. They also kept the house impeccably clean throughout our stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The location was perfect for enjoying the beach every day, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We highly recommend this Airbnb and would definitely love to come back!

The property was as described, very well stocked for our stay. There were plenty of kitchen supplies to cook at the property, and games for the kids. Plenty of towels and linens. The pictures are great and still didn’t do the view justice.

We stayed here for a month in July 2026 - 3 adults, 2 kids (3yo & 12yo). This was a perfect place for us! Lots of room inside, large closets, great AC, beautiful views, multiple TVs. The property was amazing with two large pools, a small playground, parking with an outlet to charge our golf cart, and lots of iguanas to watch. Bonus - the security is 24/7 and very cautious about letting people through the gate. We appreciated staying in quiet Playa Langosta while having easy access to busier Tamarindo. Another bonus is Fish & Cheeses across the street - delicious food PLUS good Belgian beers 🍻 Communication with the host was flawless. Fast responses, clear instructions, and always happy to help. I would be happy to stay here again!

We had an incredible stay and you cannot beat the view! The bedrooms are fantastic and the house did not disappoint. The gated community is very safe, but the drive to the house is as steep as possible. Overall we loved the house and the management company was very responsive with an excellent cleaning service each day. Our favorite restaurants were Ginger and Father Roosters and the local beaches were great.

The location was amazing. The home was beautiful and well kept and clean. Just a short walk and you’re on a beautiful beach. Lots of wildlife. The air-conditioning was truly amazing. It felt very secure and safe. Very close to Playa grande and that cute little beach town vibe. About 45 minutes or less to Tamarindo, which was also amazing and fun if you want a little more nightlife and energy. we would definitely rent this home again.

The unit was very nice and roomy for our family of 5. The location was great. Close to beach, shopping and restaurants. It was far enough off the main street that it was still pretty quiet. Sunset was lovely off the balcony. The unit was well equipped with kitchen gear and towel. We would definitely stay in this unit again.

This home is gorgeous and looks exactly like the photos. My multi-generational family had the best trip ever! The home was difficult to locate due to construction. (There was paving of the main roads leading to the house which threw us off.) Krain and the Concierge Service was SO quick to respond and helpful. They also helped us set up activities like ATV and sailing. Honestly our favorite was the private sound healing session at the house. We’ve never tried anything like that. Ale was amazing. Thanks to the amazing service and concierge! Beautiful home!!!

Our stay was outstanding and easily the best Airbnb experience we've had. The location was excellent—right on the beach and centrally located to Flamingo, Conchal, and other beautiful beaches. The sunsets were incredible, the cows roaming the beach were a unique touch, and the nearby beach club was a great bonus. The home was beautiful, with amazing views, a fantastic pool the kids loved, and everything we needed. What truly set this property apart was the host and management team. They were incredibly responsive—we had a minor garage door issue, and it was resolved immediately. The house moms were amazing, preparing delicious breakfasts each morning and keeping the home spotless. Their service exceeded every expectation. I wish every Airbnb was managed this way. Clean, organized, responsive, and welcoming from start to finish. A true 10/10—we'll definitely be back.

This home was absolutely impeccable, with breathtaking views, a gorgeous infinity pool overlooking Playa Potrero, and spacious bedrooms—each with its own beautiful view—along with large, luxurious bathrooms. We had two families and five children between us, and everyone was more than comfortable! We even saw monkeys moving from tree to tree off the large patio! The perfectly placed hammocks and swings were an added bonus and made it easy to relax and fully enjoy the incredible surroundings. Comfortable chairs for morning coffee and listening to the monkeys off each bedroom. This home has close proximity to attractions. It was truly the perfect home for our group!

House and view both beautiful. Communication excellent! Roads are rough to get up and down hill to get to home. Scorpios seen in bedroom and living room. Overall 10/10 will be booking again.

Lovely house and pool, quiet and secluded at the end of the road. Definitely need a good 4x4 car, but not far from Potrero town centre and easy access to other towns in the area. Lots of restaurants, beaches in the area. Loads of activities in the area. The concierge was good, and staff very responsive and accommodating to my requests.

The cable they have for current events, such as the World Cup, had no coverage. And we feel that the check-out time is a bit early, 10:00 am. In our case, fortunately, we had some friends who were staying nearby and we were able to go out and spend time with them and then get ready for the trip. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

Having traveled extensively, this spacious condo and the owners have put their heart and soul in designing and decorating it. Very comfortable… felt cosy, right at home! Everything that you can possibly need - you will find. Even AC in the bathrooms! Will definitely stay here again. The roads are pretty bad around Flamingo Beach… make sure to get a 4X4.

This rental was absolutely beautiful! Looked just like the pictures! I cannot wait to visit again. The Airbnb also had everything we needed!

The unit was great and we loved staying there as a family. The description didn’t do it justice though and after messaging back and forth I thought I would clarify a few items. The unit is inside a much larger gated development. It’s a premier development in the area that has multiple gated neighborhoods once you get inside the front gate. This unit has its own pool that is basically private because there are only a few residents that have access to it inside the gate. There are 2 buildings inside Jobo and the pool is not pictured in the listing. It has an infinity pool, large deck with chairs and 2 cabana style setups along with a bean bag toss game. It’s nice because in the afternoon it’s more shaded so you can enjoy it without being blasted by the sun. The beach club is .5 miles down the hill from the unit, has 2 pools, a really nice gym you have access to, a play area for kids and private beach and a restaurant. A few restaurants inside the community too. Need reservations.

This place was unbelievable. My family of 5 stayed here comfortably - plenty of room for everyone. The entire house was fantastic, but the best part by far was the back patio/pool area. There were breathtaking views from all angles, and the infinity pool was the perfect size and temperature. There was lots of space to hang out outside, including multiple balconies on the second floor and rooftop. The kitchen was well equipped - we cooked most of our meals at the house. The concierge service was also super helpful. They set up a couple of excursions and a meal by a private chef for us. All of that was smooth. The ONLY downside is it is not the most fun to get to. There are pretty steep up and downhill climbs, and the roads aren’t good - lots of potholes, etc. That’s not the property owner’s fault, but is something to be aware of. I would recommend a 4x4 vehicle for sure. My family loved this place. If we come back to Costa Rica, we will definitely stay here again.

Look, I've done enough family trips to know where you stay makes or breaks the whole thing. Villa Hibiscus made our trip. Three adults and two teens and nobody was on top of each other. Spacious, light, and airy throughout. Great AC, well-stocked kitchen, TVs in the living room and bedroom, and beach chairs, umbrella, and boogie board already waiting for you. Someone thought this through. That patio though. Seating for eight with an unobstructed Pacific view and sunsets that stop you cold. We lived out there. Location is perfect — short walk to beach, grocery, restaurants, shopping, and rental car. Easy. Howler monkeys showed up near the property too. My teenagers actually put their phones down. Enough said. Book Villa Hibiscus. Best decision we made after booking the trip itself. We'll be back. Pura Vida.

Stunning property. Very well taken care of. Amazing kitchen to cook and great meal. Loved the pool and the unbeliveable sunsets. The house is on a hill with an beautiful view of the ocean. The rooms were nicely decorated and super comfortable. This is a place I will definitely go back. Once you get to the house you don't want to leave.

Amazing- prettier than the pictures. Living room and dining room large and spacious- we had two adult couples and a child and had more than enough space. Kitchen is well stocked with equipment including very nice pots and pans. Pool was perfect temp for us (stayed end of June) and has a nice shallow area for the kid to splash. Lots of towels. Outdoor shower too! It’s close to the beach and lots of great restaurants. Technically potentially walkable but there are not sidewalks and only a dirt path- recommend a car. If coming from Liberia airport to Potrero there’s a short spot where you’d have to cross water if the rainy season. If you’re not in an suv take the longer way around (adds 40 mins but no water crossing).

We are very pleased with this accommodation. The area is super quiet and beautiful. The beach is just a 200-meter walk away. There are other beaches nearby, easy and quick to get to by car. There are several restaurants. The supermarkets in the area are small, but you can get basic items. The house is beautiful, large and comfortable. Very well equipped. It was delivered very clean and organized. We had enough towels, bed linens, extra pillows, and cleaning supplies available. 10/10 Although some appliances need maintenance, it was still not much of a problem for us. The condo is very beautiful, super quiet, the pool is large, and the areas are very clean and well-equipped. The host was very helpful and gave easy-to-follow instructions. We had no problems checking in or checking out. They responded very quickly. The condominium staff are also very attentive. Overall, we highly recommend this Airbnb.

Our stay at Casa Azura was absolutely incredible! The views are simply breathtaking, and are even better than the photos. We spent most of our days enjoying the pool and got great sunsets right from the patio almost every night. The location is perfect. It’s close to lots of great restaurants, the beach and the marina. We enjoyed Gracia, which is right up the road and has fantastic views and great food and service. The neighborhood was beautiful and secure, and we enjoyed the friendly guards that let you in and out. This house literally had everything you could ask for and the communication with the host was amazing. They would respond within 10 minutes every time. As others have mentioned, the road to the house is steep, but that was not an issue for us and that’s how you get that view! I would highly recommend this beautiful villa and we will definitely be planning another visit. This was a dream vacation for our family of four!

Truly a DREAM!! The views were breathtaking, the space was clean, and the host made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. The house is super close to everything (get ready to off road a little -- but it made for a fun drive and lots of laughs along the way) and had so many options to eat, drink, beach, and dance all within a 5 minute drive. Would recommend this house and host to any and all!!

A spectacular family weekend! The house is super comfortable, simply fantastic and very complete. It has absolutely everything you need to relax and enjoy yourself to the fullest without worrying about anything. The location is excellent and the place's cleanliness was impeccable from the moment we arrived. We especially want to highlight the service: communication with the host was very fast and he was super attentive every time we needed something. In addition, the service from Nuria was excellent, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We enjoyed it very much, relaxed a lot, and had a wonderful time. 100% highly recommended for a few days with the family!

We had such a great time. The best part was the sweeping views of the mountains and ocean. We had 8 people total, and we had plenty of space. the kids loved retreating to the upper levels when they wanted some alone time. The patio and pool were the perfect place for everyone to gather. They were reponsive to any questions we had. We love the area as well. Very peaceful and quiet compared to Tamarindo.

I would like to say that this was a wonderful place to stay. Accommodations were five star communication and support from the team was over the top. They were always paying attention checking in, I would come back in a second and spend another week there anytime, really appreciate the opportunity and I would recommend to anybody to stay at this property

We loved the location

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house was even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The view of the sunset from the infinity pool was priceless, and we loved being able to see so many stars at night. Also loved the heated toilet seat with bidet. The hill leading up to the house is a bit steep, but we had no trouble getting up with our minivan. We would love to come back and stay here again!

This home was very beautiful and matched the description perfectly. We felt at home and had everything we could need at the home. All you need to bring is your personal belongings and you are set. We cooked breakfast every morning in the spacious kitchen; It had every appliance and dish you could possibly need. The kids had a blast in the pool area and outside was very peaceful. The home is located far enough away from other homes and the main town that we felt peace, but still close enough to where we could run to the store at anytime. The neighborhood people are very nice. You definitely need an suv to get up to the home, as stated in previous reviews - especially when it rains. We would 100% stay here again and we are already ready to go back!
