We loved the house! Everything was spotless, with a very quiet atmosphere, ideal for relaxing. The best things are the garden and the beautiful view of the golf course. The pool is perfect, and the location is excellent, with supermarkets and restaurants very close by. Highly recommended!

Lovely place and just as described. We picked up cooking supplies and hired a quad bike in advance of arriving; the hire company met us at the port and strapped our bags on which was a great way to go given rough l road close to the property, and also meant we had a convenient way to get around during our stay. Highly recommend doing the same, and staying three nights - we did two and wasn’t quite long enough!

It was amazing and that’s why I’m giving it five starts. Now I did have an inconvenience at this place but it’s fully on my end. This place had no AC and I just expected it to but it didn’t. The AC was not listed I just didn’t check. So it’s something to have in mind because it was really hotttttt. It just has one fan and ceiling fans. Cute place tho🩵

It is a very well-equipped and cozy house. We would definitely stay there again, as it has all the amenities and even more.

The Ananda house is definitely the place to stay! The location is separated from the rest of the town and feels very private and the view of the volcano is amazing! And generally the location was very central to the island and close to the major attractions like Ojo de Agua or El Pital. The room was spotless and matched the pictures perfectly. The staff was awesome and very helpful. I highly recommend Ananda house, and will use them next time I am in Ometepe!

A perfect place to unwind. My family and I loved this place. It has everything you need for a weekend break. The place was very clean, with a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable rooms, an excellent location and, above all, a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature that you can really enjoy. The host was very friendly from the start.

Great place. Great bigscreen for movies . Excellent location on golf course. Only negative was beds were too hard. Mattress pads would be good investment, but that’s only thing I’d change.

It has an excellent location within Hacienda Iguana, close to everything. The surroundings and views are very nice and peaceful, ideal for resting. Totally recommended. Also, Jonathan is very friendly and attentive to everything. An excellent host.

Very well located place with a splendid view and very large windows! We loved our stay.

That place was far bigger and nicer than I had anticipated. The view out the back door is so pretty, just wanted to stay on the back porch the whole time. The kitchen had everything we needed and the AC was nice to take off the edge on the really hot afternoons. Would definitely stay here again!

The please is bigger than the pictures. Definitely helped tat there is backup power. The maintenance was very quick & the host was super responsive even being on vacation

Our stay at Ananda was perfect. The ladies for lunch, the night watchman and Novel for answering our questions and helping us plan our transportation or our activities. Clean, quiet place, a magnificent view of the volcano, a beautiful large bedroom and bathroom. In short, everything was perfect. We stayed 4 nights, and I would definitely go back.

Stayed for 3 nights at Ananda #4. (1 bedroom , fully equipped kitchen, filtered water and a fabulous private outdoor seating area which overlooks Volcan Concepcion. They can serve breakfast to your private patio as well. Very serene and peaceful. Nolver and the staff go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable and also help with arranging local activities. Its about a 10 minute walk up from the main road.

my husband and i LOVED our time spent at this place. as many other reviews and the description have mentioned, you need a 4x4 capable vehicle to get to the property. the hosts were very responsive and helped us plan accordingly. we opted to leave our rental car at San Jorge port where we boarded the ferry to Ometepe. once on the island, we rented an ATV (with our luggage, no problem at all) through the help of the hosts, and used the ATV to get around the island. it was about a 1 hour drive from the port of Moyogalpa to the airbnb, with lots of beautiful views along the way. the hot shower worked great! heads up that there are bugs everywhere on the island; there’s simply no avoiding it. but the hosts do a great job cleaning and they even provided us with bug spray in the room. would absolutely stay here again!

We loved our time at Hacienda Iguana! Jonathan and Roselyn’s townhome was so lovely, clean and spacious!They made sure we had a reputable driver to and from the airport, felt extremely comfortable the whole time! They checked on us and answered all of my many questions!We zoomed around on our golf cart, met people from all over and made lasting memories! We are already planning our next trip back! I rode horses(my guide took me to see howler monkeys in the jungle and we strolled the beach)my boyfriend surfed every day and took a panga to other spots..ended our evenings with drinks watching the sunset at the beach club and ate the best food at many of the restaurants! The shops and markets have everything you need and the townhome did too! The concierge at NSR granted our every wish! We’ve traveled all over and our trip to Hacienda Iguana ranks at the top of the list! It’s affordable with so many things to do! We will be back! Thank you J&R!! We ❤️ Nica!

This place was heaven on earth. You can’t beat the views and it was lovely having hot water on the trip. Breakfast with a view was a highlight and Nolver was super helpful with setting up our scooter rental and taxi rides. This is the best place you can stay on the island.

This is in a great community with a lot of ex-pats. Jonathan connected us with Pedro, who met us at the airport, was infinitely patient with all our needed stops, and got us safely to Jonathan's home.

My freind and I stayed here for a few days while we explored the island. Real;y the best part of our time was enjoying the space. It was incredible and the staff were super helpful. I want to come back my family.

This place is so beautiful!! We stayed 4 nights and were able to have an extraordinary local guide to do the Maderas volcano (Marvin)! Very professional! They also helped us rent mountain bikes! The breakfasts were delicious directly on our terrace! We were sad to leave this little piece of heaven!

We had a fantastic vacation and that was largely due to the location! The townhouse is really well decorated and has a spacious terrace situated on the golf course: lush and quiet to lounge around and the pool is only a few steps away…perfect after workouts on the beach! Colorado Beach is a beautiful 2.5 km beach at a walkable distance, and Hacienda Iguana has lots to offer: wildlife, leisure activities, restaurants, markets, boutiques, yoga, etc. Our hosts made us feel at home and very welcome :)

the house is lovely and the view of the Vulcano amazing! the staff is super friendly and helpful. it was by far the most modern accommodation we had in Nicaragua. but you need to be aware, that the last ~700meter it the road are in a very bad shape. you can get there even with a scooter, but we decided for an atv. summer restaurants deliver to your room, which is also really comfortable.

Great stay, incredible views of the volcano and plenty to do. Great restaurants nearby. Very responsive host. Breakfast on site. The views alone are worth the stay. You do need 4x4 or ATV or similar to access property. Great stay, highly recommend.

If I could give ten stars I would. Amazing communication, excellent location and an incredible value. We booked at the last minute in the middle of the night and the host was extremely communicative and helpful. Would Absolutely recommend !!

Jonathan's place was beautiful and cozy. We really enjoyed our stay. Jonathan makes sure that you will have plenty of supplies of water, condiments for cooking and cleaning services. If you need anything just contact him and he will help you the best he can. Hacienda Iguana is very safe site with 24 hours security guards and very well maintenance. One thing I will recommend is to stop in a big supermarket before you had there and by plenty of groceries but don't forget to support the local vendors since they provide jobs for the locals people there. if you come for surfing rent a car is a must so you can chase waves in different breaks. We will definitely come back and stay at Jonathan's place if available.

Loved this place! The view is incredible. Most places in Ometepe don’t have air conditioning, but we felt comfortable here the entire time. Great location too. Make sure you have an ATV to get there (it’s bumpy but worth it).

This was our second time staying and still was excited for view. We saw monkeys from our balcony swinging through the trees. The accommodations were perfect and service was great! Workers were very friendly. Highly recommend and will come back!

I was looking for a retreat style place with connection to nature. I got more than I expected! Waking up to birds on my balcony, sun peaking over the trees and through the clouds of the volcano. All without losing the luxuries of modern villa! I loved the space! Definitely a place to return to and bring friends!

The one bedroom suite was welcoming and we got there at sunset and had an incredible view off the balcony of the sun going down next to the volcano. Breathtaking!! Very spacious and clean and had everything we needed. Definitely will stay again and highly recommend!!

I don’t even know where to start, this place may be mine & my partners favourite place we’ve ever stayed in 🥹. Beautiful, calm, peaceful… just, wonderful. Nolver & his team are fabulous and were so warm and welcoming when we arrived, Jonathan was also great with communication before we arrived! The bed is HUGE and so comfy, there’s no aircon but you don’t need it as the ceiling fan along with the open windows (with bug shields!) ensures the room stays the perfect temperature! The breakfasts are absolutely delicious, and you can enjoy on your own private porch where it is ready and waiting for you in the morning! Hot water!!! Which is an absolute luxury on the island! The room & bathroom are also beautifully decorated, which we loved! The garden is a beautiful oasis, we loved watching the monkeys in the afternoons, as well as the incredible view of the volcano 🌋🧡 10/10, can’t fault it at all - would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a fantastic stay at Ananda. The private terrace was amazing - so relaxing being able to have breakfast served there with the view of the gardens, monkeys in the trees and Conception in the background. It’s a very comfortable place with great amenities- the private kitchen is huge and some good local restaurants even deliver takeaway if you want it. It was also nice not having to worry about bugs getting into the apartment as everything is contained with doors and windows having mosquito screens. And the guys are super helpful and responsive when it comes to organising taxis/transport/tours etc. As others have mentioned the road to get there is bumpy and we were pleased to have hired an ATV to get around. Highly recommended all round!

We liked the Ananda Guesthouse very much and we felt completely comfortable. View from the property is magical. The staff were always very accommodating and helpful and helped us borrow scooters or other bookings. Clear recommendation! However, the path to the accommodation is unpaved and not lit in the evening, you should be aware of that!

An exceptional place to stay in Ometepe where it is not easy to find accommodation of European standards in terms of quality, design and service Super friendly and very effective staff helping with local tours and activities and with Ferry transportation. There are very good and numerous recommendations in the information provided in the rooms If they are going to travel to the island by car it is most advisable to contact Jonathan's employees to help you manage a reservation on the ferry as there are few places available for cars More recommended to travel from the port of San Jorge en Rivas to the port of San José en Ometepe that is closer to where the hostel is Spectacular views and highly recommended to go to see the sunset at the Totoco Ecolodge hotel near the hostal Ananda

This place was a dream!

This home is situated in the best position on Ometepe. The pictures of the view does not do it justice! You won’t be disappointed. The staff are welcoming, the home is spotless and the breakfast is a must. The whole home is perfectly built for a wonderful stay, the friendly staff bring your breakfast to your own private porch area while you sit and watch the view of the Conception volcano. It is 100% worth climbing the Maderas volcano a short walk from the home (ask for Marvin!)

Probably best room we stayed at during our trip in Nicaragua. Room is big and well furnished. We enjoyed it. Nice view on the Vulcano from the garden. If there would be a pool in the garden, it would be 6/5. Be cautious with the street leading up to the house - I’d only recommend for experienced scooter drivers or ATVs. Taxi was fine.

Jonathan’s place was amazing and everything we needed! The staff on site was incredibly helpful for everything for everything we needed - the breakfast we requested was wonderful, we were able to arrange for scooters that arrived in a timely manner, and they were so helpful in recommendations in walking distance. The path to the apartment is very dark at night and very uneven, so it is best to have a flashlight or headlamp. It is definitely walkable to restaurants and the main road, but it is a decent walk (maybe 10-15 minutes depending on where you go). I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone wanting more space and somewhere with amazing views on Ometepe!

Simply amazing. We never found better views on the whole Island and the apartment was by far the cleanest and most beautiful we’ve seen so far in Nicaragua. Definitely recommended, it’s perfect.

Such a beautiful view! Our stay was very brief but we enjoyed it. Everyone in the house was super attentive and kind. We got a lot of good recommendations. We appreciated our little quiet space with a hammock. For transportation to the place and island I suggest renting a moto/quad at the port to get around more easily!

Jonathan's Airbnb is one of a kind. It has everything you could have asked for and more. Here, you get to relax and connect with nature in a peaceful environment. Nolver and the team were exceptional. They made sure that you have everything you need. Breakfast is served in your room and includes freshly squeezed juice, organic coffee, and your selection of a delicious menu. You can also order delivery to your room and even massage. They also schedule the ferry and the tours. It was my first time traveling to Nicaragua, and Jonathan, Nolver, and the crew made me feel at home. My fiancé and I didnt want to leave. I already miss this place. Nicaragua is a beautiful place with so much fauna and flora. I can't wait to come back. 100% recommended.

Wonderful place for nature lovers. Enjoyed seeing the monkeys in the trees, the parrots and the black-throated magpie-jays in the trees. The dogs and the cat are adorable.

I had a very comfortable stay here. The views are amazing and it was a great place to watch the sunset. The setup of the different rooms makes it feel very private but with nice communal spaces. The host staff were very helpful in setting up an ATV for me to explore the island.

Anandas Guesthouse for us is an extraordenary place. The room is modern, nice, clean. The garden is really nice, has an amazing view to the volcano and great possibilities to relaxe. It is a really special and peacefull place. All people who work there are super friendly and you get help with organizing.

Ananda is such an amazing property. It was even better than it looks in the pictures. The view of the volcano is beautiful at all times of the day and the grounds are super well kept and green. The room was very modern, the breakfast provided was excellent and the staff were so helpful with organizing everything in the area.
