We had an amazing stay and would book this villa again without hesitation. The villa is beautiful, spacious, and well maintained. It was perfect for our family, with comfortable bedrooms, room to relax, and a fully equipped kitchen where we enjoyed breakfast most mornings before heading out for the day. From booking through checkout, Jennifer and Star were incredibly responsive and made everything effortless. Weather delayed our arrival, but Cindy was there waiting to welcome us. They had our golf carts ready upon arrival, and connected us with Roberto, our go-to guide for diving, snorkeling, fishing, and lobster hunting. They even cooked an incredible feast with our fresh catch! Because of the seasonal sargassum, we spent our beach days at Secret Beach, an easy golf cart ride from the villa. We felt very safe both at the villa and on the island. Folks were welcoming, genuinely happy, and had a great sense of humor. We highly recommend staying here!

The house is breathtaking. So much space inside and out. Star in the office arranged everything for us - airport pick up, golf cart and information about getting provisions. We had numerous amazing trips through Roberto’s tour company. Highlights were fishing and lobster hunting which ended with a chef prepared meal in front of the world’s with the guys who fished and cooked for us and snorkeling with the manatees. A trip to the mainland to see Mayan ruins and go cave tubing was incredible. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. AC kept us cool, bathrooms were plentiful, pool and view were delightful. Off season you may experience the sargassum coming to shore which when the wind blows in the wrong direction has a powerful odor of sulfur and fish. It was most unpleasant when we arrived but either we got used to it or it dissipated during our stay. Highly recommend the house if you don’t mind being away from the hustle and bustle of San Pedro.

Absolutely beautiful place and location

This was literally the best place we could have picked ! Cindy, Star and Roberto were great!!! Roberto was so helpful with all the tours ! We were able to schedule a chef to come to the house Maria did not disappoint ! Shaggy and portofino were great places to eat! When we showed up they also accommodated a golf cart and shuffle service ! They literally took care of everything for us ! No need to reach out to outside tour guides they can coordinate it all for you! There is a small smoothie and food place down the street called Estela’s deli and fruits it was walking distance that was also really good !!! Right before portofinos . I truly wouldn’t recommend any other place . Safe . Peaceful . And beautiful . Every morning I woke up and sat by the water to watch the sunset. If you want to make your Belize trip amazing book this place ! We stayed in the RUBY. She was stunning !!!!

I booked the Jade unit this past week for 6 of us and we had a blast!The house is beautiful and very well equipped! It’s huge! Every bedroom is its own suite. The pool is really nicely designed and is a great place to spend your day! The La Perla Team is exceedingly helpful, Roberto will help get all of your fun activities arranged. He’s a great guy and we felt like we were interacting with old friends. Star is also very helpful and went out of her way to help us identify a personal boat ride back to the airport. She quoted a good price, but helped with trying to get us other options. These guys were super responsive! no matter the time. They did a great job of keeping the property really clean and beautiful. They are located outside of San Pedro, on the north end of the island. Only a tiny issue if you’re driving your golf cart you can’t go very fast because of the roads, but don’t we all need to slow down a bit? Sargassum is a problem for all the islands. Pray for a solution

Villa Jade is stunning. We absolutely loved the Villa and the grounds of La Perla. Spacious bedrooms with private bath and balconies on main level and upstairs is a big suite with King bed, balconies and a big bathroom with a little less privacy but still great. The kitchen had everything we needed which I really appreciated. Star connected us with Roberto for our tours. Excellent tours, and seemless experience! We had a blast! Also, Star was super friendly and responsive and arranged transport, booked our flights, & golf cart. Appreciated all her help! Two restaurants super close with all sorts of places to eat all the way to town. Town is not walkable. It takes a good half hour in a golf cart on bumpy road. The only hiccup was the construction noise of the villa next door which I feel like they should have disclosed prior to my booking, it was not insignificant issue and we paid top dollar to stay there and it most definitely diminished our stay on days we did not have tours. Bummer.

We enjoyed the home and the location very much. The property was great and worked perfectly with a group of single young ladies. The levels of the home and the uniqueness of the property and it’s character and charm really made the week memorable and pleasant.

Villa Sapphire at La Perle was absolutely stunning! I could have stayed forever. Every room has views of the ocean, the place was clean, kitchen supplies were high quality and the staff were helpful and friendly. We would 100% stay again.

Our family loved our time. This Airbnb was one of the cleanest and most beautiful we have stayed in and we travel all over. I did not know there would be an on site staff available 24/7 and security personally. They were so attentive. Met us with a private pick up on a boat at the water taxi ferry. Helped with luggage, walking us to our aribnb rental showing us all the amenities it had. Explaining very thoroughly rules etc. they provided water for our entire stay and refilled it very promptly. We were able to use a grill to cook our meals. The beds were so comfy and so quiet and peaceful. Everything was extremely clean. She was able to help us with a golf cart rental. I highly recommend having a golf cart rented and waiting for you upon arrival. There is not really much you can walk to for food or drinks. Having a golf cart made it very easy to go into town, go to the local stores and restaurants, go to secret beach I can’t wait to come back!

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay at La Perla del Caribe! This was our first time to Ambergris Caye Island. The place provided so much room and a beautiful view! Our kids enjoyed the pool and all of the excursions available. Our contact, Star, was so helpful! She booked our transportation, golf cart, and excursions! Thank you so much!! I give the Airbnb 5 stars! Our favorite restaurants include the Sundeck (right down the road), Elvie’s Kitchen, Coconut Cafe, and Blue Bayou! We booked private fishing and snorkeling tours with Roberto’s group! One thing we were unaware of was the sargassum seaweed and the odor it can emit while breaking down. This is no one’s fault on the island but something to be prepared for during your stay. Also, be prepared for a bumpy but comical ride getting around!

The Amber Villa at La Perla was an absolute dream. Our unit was gorgeous and had stunning ocean views. Our concierge and the property team were so kind, helpful and quick to respond. My friends and I enjoyed the delicious meals at local and down town restaurants. Secret Beach is a short drive away for cocktails, lunch and lots of sun fun. We were also helped with chartering a private catamaran for a sunset cruise (snack and cocktails included) and had the best of times. We will definitely be returning again in the near future!

Great spot right on the water. The sargassum is annoying, but it doesn’t change how great the location was. The in-villa chef was amazing.

Great house for groups with 3 bedrooms and 4 private baths. Beautiful property and pool - very relaxing. The property manager, Star, was very helpful and responsive and staff very friendly. The 4th bedroom is the ground level floor - a great place for kids but not a private room (no door, but an open stairway down to the lower level). A ways to San Pedro (the man town) but we liked being away from the crowd and the island was easily accessible by golf cart, which was important to get around. Tour options from onsite. Nice to have a kitchen since it’s a drive (or longer walk) to restaurants (note that groceries are limited and expensive on the island). There’s lots of sand and the ocean is right there, but it’s not a beach that you walk into the water due to the reef and sea grass. The sea kayaks available on property are a good bonus!
