Luxury 4BR Beachfront Villa | Villa Topaz

The house is breathtaking. So much space inside and out. Star in the office arranged everything for us - airport pick up, golf cart and information about getting provisions. We had numerous amazing trips through Roberto’s tour company. Highlights were fishing and lobster hunting which ended with a chef prepared meal in front of the world’s with the guys who fished and cooked for us and snorkeling with the manatees. A trip to the mainland to see Mayan ruins and go cave tubing was incredible. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. AC kept us cool, bathrooms were plentiful, pool and view were delightful. Off season you may experience the sargassum coming to shore which when the wind blows in the wrong direction has a powerful odor of sulfur and fish. It was most unpleasant when we arrived but either we got used to it or it dissipated during our stay. Highly recommend the house if you don’t mind being away from the hustle and bustle of San Pedro.

We had a group of 7 adults and a 9 month old. The house was just as the pictures show and worked great with plenty of space for everyone. Area was peaceful and well maintained. Pool was refreshing and worked out great as well. We were able to do tours from the onsite company and leave right from the dock there. All very friendly and easy to work with.

Villa Topaz was a dream house for us. The kitchen had everything needed to cook all meals, and even store some leftovers. The decor is fantastic and super fun for a beach house get away. With some practical touches: bedside lights that are dimmable, flashlights everywhere, soap, shampoo and beach towels. The location is just far enough from the craziness of San Pedro, but close enough to get there if needed for food etc. Star was super responsive in the few times we needed assistance and Roberto was critical in helping us secure activities. The grounds were very well kept and the fishing off the pier is quite good. I would recommend this place to families with kids and extended families. If you get the chance to book it, don't waste your time looking much further. Tell Star your flight details, there'll be someone to pick you up and drop you off, they'll have a golf cart ready and activities planned with Roberto...Bam done...grab a beer and settle in...no drama!

Villa Topaz at La Perla del Caribe was amazing - such a beautiful and comfortable home! The property managers Star and Cindy took care of our every need and provided great local recommendations. La Perla even has dive masters (Roberto and Chaco) and boats to charter for fishing, diving, snorkeling and airport transfers (or by van at night). They even coordinated our golf cart rentals, which are a must if you plan to go anywhere on the island. The house comfortably fit our family of 6 adults with room to spare. I would highly recommend staying at Villa Topaz. It’s everything you would hope for in a quaint, secluded beach getaway.

We were so happy with our vacation at La Perla. The listing does not do it justice. The view alone is spectacular. We love the fact we had our own home to stay in, but it really felt like a resort. The location was perfect for excursions, getting into town, going to dinner or just hanging out at the pool. The house was spectacular for the 6 adults we had, it would have held more. Plenty of room to be together, but also room to be by ourselves. The deck was a great place to watch the sea and enjoy dinner or drinks. Lastly, but truly the staff was spectacular! From the first response by email to the last day of checking on our needs. Truly a fantastic experience. We will be back.

What an AMAZING home - the owners' decorations were fantastic and unique, the beds comfortable, the rooms huge and fun. Amazing water views from the deck, steps to the pool, and a wonderful resort. The host is the resorts Guest Services specialist (on site) and they'll help you rent a golf cart (necessary), recommend restaurants, secure water or land taxi services and more - their website also has a ton of activities. They made it very easy to enjoy the area. It's a good 30 min taxi from San Pedro and longer by golf cart, but we wanted a little less touristy. They have a chef and more available, and Lagniappe Provisions was amazing to work with in advance to stock our kitchen with our needs. Google away, but places we loved to eat that were 10-20 min by golf cart and good for my gluten-sensitive wife and our picky kids: The Truck Stop ("Food Truck" vibe with pizza, Latin American food, Asian treats and more), Portofino Resort, and Coco Cabana. Enjoy this AMAZING home.

The property was beautiful. It was isolated enough to where the other neighboring houses didn’t impact our stay. The home itself had very distinct areas so that everyone felt like they had their own little space. Kitchen was stocked to where it was easy to cook.

La Perla was amazing. From the view to he peaceful environment it was perfect. There was a family there for a few days of our stay but other than that we had the entire resort to ourselves. Me and my crew wanted to relax and this came right on time. I would recommend La Perla to anyone that’s looking for a peaceful stay with the options of going into town whenever you want!! Michaela was amazing. Very friendly and helpful to all of our needs.
