Villa Opal | 5BR Beachfront Villa Belize

We had an amazing stay and would book this villa again without hesitation. The villa is beautiful, spacious, and well maintained. It was perfect for our family, with comfortable bedrooms, room to relax, and a fully equipped kitchen where we enjoyed breakfast most mornings before heading out for the day. From booking through checkout, Jennifer and Star were incredibly responsive and made everything effortless. Weather delayed our arrival, but Cindy was there waiting to welcome us. They had our golf carts ready upon arrival, and connected us with Roberto, our go-to guide for diving, snorkeling, fishing, and lobster hunting. They even cooked an incredible feast with our fresh catch! Because of the seasonal sargassum, we spent our beach days at Secret Beach, an easy golf cart ride from the villa. We felt very safe both at the villa and on the island. Folks were welcoming, genuinely happy, and had a great sense of humor. We highly recommend staying here!

Our family of 9 (ages ranging from teens to adults) had the most unforgettable vacation at La Perla Del Caribe! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views, the beautifully appointed villa, and the warm hospitality that made us feel right at home. The house was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed to accommodate a large group while still giving everyone their own space to relax. We loved starting our mornings on the patio with coffee and the sound of the ocean, and ending our evenings under the stars with games, laughter, and fresh-caught seafood we grilled right at the villa. The staff was exceptional—responsive, kind, and always ready to help us arrange boat trips, snorkeling adventures, and golf cart rentals. The location was ideal: peaceful and private, yet just a short ride to fun local restaurants and shops. We especially loved snorkeling with nurse sharks, fishing for snapper and lobster, and exploring secret beach.

We loved our stay at La Perla! The location was beautiful and exactly as pictured. Star and the rest of the staff were so helpful and accommodating. They helped get us set up in every way and were so quick to respond to questions. We loved having the pool right there, especially with two small kids. We were so happy in San Pedro.

This was a beautiful spacious home and was perfect for our family gathering. They were always super responsive with any questions we had or helping us to arrange travel. We rented a golf cart through them and they took care of all of the logistics and had it waiting for us upon our arrival. We took a boat back to the airport the morning we left, also arranged through them, and that was super convenient. We also appreciated they furnished 5-gallon bottles of water and replaced them when needed. The pool was beautiful and many of us spent time around and in it.

La Perla was just what they advertised. The staff and the people we encounter were the best. Michaela was on top of everything. She not only met our needs but often anticipated them. She made sure everything and everyone we needed were in place to ensure a great time. Starting with our taxi driver Chris who greeted us warmly at the airport. He was absolutely top notch and took customer service to an extreme level. Omar provided our golf carts also went the extra mile to ensure part of our group stayed safe and dry while waiting for the rest to come in. Even Bol, who made sure we got into our villa safely after being 7-8 hours later than expected. I highly recommend this resort, primarily because of the people. Customer service is definitely a top priority for La Perla and San Pedro Island as a whole.

We were taken care of from the time we landed in San Pedro. Edwin met us at Tropic Air and loaded our luggage on the boat and off we went. Once we arrived at the dock, Michaela greeted us and showed us into our home. The home was well stocked with everything we needed. We made a grocery store run and that was so nice to have food and drinks in the house so we didn’t have to go out every meal. The burrito man came by each morning and I highly recommend purchasing breakfast from him. Power went out the first night due to a storm. Bedrooms all had an A/C and fans and were very comfortable. The common area upstairs stayed warmer but not uncomfortable. All appliances worked well. They provided coffee and filters. We had a few minor issues but Michaela and her staff were right there to take care of them. Michaela scheduled massages for us and they were amazing. There were 8 of us. 4 couples. I highly recommend this place.

Host would check on you daily by asking us if we needed anything and was very responsive when we had questions. Very kind and friendly. We all enjoyed the accommodations only issue is having to drive a cart to get to places and most of them were not close. That part I should have done more research . However the vicinity was well kept up and had a beautiful view.

We were a multi generational family of 9, we loved our vacation! We loved being in a peaceful area (vs. the heart of San Pedro), we only went to town for major groceries (once), otherwise, we stayed on the north side of the bridge. We enjoyed several restaurants and bars on the north side. Near La Perla, Portofino was amazing and Sunset BBQ was great, we provisioned as we went along at the Whiney Gringa (5 mins away). The La Perla team was amazing and so responsive, friendly and available. They all made our stay so comfortable and welcoming. The house we stayed in matched the description perfectly and was more than enough space for us! The kitchen was great with basic utensils, etc...it was perfectly fine for what we needed as we ate out at least once/twice a day. We loved the Vitamix for our smoothies! I highly recommend hiring Maria the chef for at least your first night! The excursions were easy to book and the options and guides we had were fabulous!

We stayed at La Perla in Villa Opal for 4 nights. Our stay was incredible. Michaela was beyond helpful with arranging our arrival and departure. She was present at the time of check in and was so kind and welcoming. The villa was pristine, and cozy. We cannot wait to come back!
