The Space
Hacienda Paraíso is a luxurious beachfront mansion located directly on the sandy shores of Playa Flamingo, Costa Rica. It is one of three exclusive beachfront properties in the area.
This two-story home features six bedrooms and comfortably accommodates up to 14 guests. The design includes high ceilings, wood cabinetry and furniture, a spiral staircase, and large windows that fill the space with natural light. The interior is adorned with colorful artwork and furnishings inspired by Costa Rica’s vibrant landscapes and wildlife.

Each bedroom includes a private bathroom with a rainfall walk-in shower. The master bedroom also offers a relaxing jacuzzi bathtub. All bedrooms are equipped with a TV and a single-serve espresso machine. Five of the bedrooms have furnished balconies with beautiful views.

The living room is furnished with stylish white couches, a cozy armchair, and a large flat-screen TV. A massive folding glass door opens to a covered patio featuring lounge chairs that overlook the ocean.

Pet Policy
Pets are welcome with prior approval based on breed and size (maximum 35 pounds). Requirements include:
- Submission of a recent photo for verification at least 24 hours before check-in
- Refundable pet fee of $200 per stay
- Additional cleaning fee of $50 plus 13% tax per pet
- Maximum of two pets per reservation
- Pets must be leashed in public areas on the property
- Owners are responsible for their pets’ behavior and any damages
- Pets should not be left unattended on the premises

Our expectations were exceeded before we even arrived. Special Places team was great. Juan Diego Rosales was on it. He had our reservations, a ti I tied all dialed in eve before we arrived. Sunset cruise private boat, rental cars, golf carts at house, massages at house, private Chef Brown Skin set up, airport transportation . Carlos the concierge is superb, personal made you feel like family, extremely attentive to all our needs. We would definitely go back there again and use their services… you do not say that often! Exceptional service and staff. Hosted a couples retreat/engagement party (of 12) and everyone was enamored by this place. Mary the cleaner did an exceptional job along with Chef Marco, Obo and their helper Hubert were phenomenal. Would not hesitate to revisit. Only wish was we wished we stayed a lot longer. Thank you Phem, Alex and Olver for addressing all our issues, concerns and requests. One of my best Airbnb experiences. Highly recommend this place for a getaway in Costa Rica. Pura Vida!

Location is by far hands down the best location in the entire country. It is more than beautiful. Sunset is unforgettable, pool fantastic, beach couldn’t be better, staff is amazing. Here are the biggest issues, internet was in and out for half the trip, they did fix it half way into it. Rooms were fine, but a couple of them had bird droppings every night. The hot tub was either too hot or too cold. At the end of the day it is worth the money, but we expected a little more luxury for the price. I will be fair, the price was super competitive. I would definitely book again.

This house was incredible! Please do not miss out on staying here. The staff was amazing, the location was unreal, and it was so spacious (even bigger than the pictures)! I miss it everyday!

Hacienda Paraiso was awesome. Better than even the photos showed. Perfect location and we could always hear the ocean. Very private and all the rooms were outstanding. Each had its own bathroom which was a must as we had 5 couples. The views were a incredible and we could sit in the pool or hot tub and watch the ocean and just catch up. We hired a chef and she and her husband did a great job. We didn't cook in the kitchen but it was anything a chef could ask for and out side was a huge viking grill as well as a standalone ice maker. We needed it as 10 of us could tax any icemaker with margaritas and pina coladas. The bedding was excellent and the double rainfall showerheads in most of the bathrooms was very relaxing. We all had an incredible time and are looking forward to a reunion back there in a couple of years.
