Let’s start when I arrived. It was difficult to unlock the gate and access my room. There was also an unexpected guest: a property cat, which was not mentioned in the listing. I am highly allergic to cats, and this cat freely roamed the premises, ran up to guests, meowed, and begged for food outside my door. When I told the host about my allergy, he was rude and dismissed my concerns, saying an allergic reaction was not a major issue. He then told me the cat had been contained and was off the property, so I believed I was safe. However, the next morning, the cat was waiting outside my door. The cleaning lady explained that they had lost track of it after it ran out when they opened a door and told me to stay in my room because they did not know where it was. I should not have had to remain locked inside while on vacation. I felt unsafe and had to leave after one night, paying for another Airbnb. :( scared for my life .. this was my first solo trip and I did not feel comfortable

Our stay was great! The property was well kept and looked just like the photos. It was easy to find and the local recommendations helped a lot. We did have to ask for more towels and the communication for obtaining fresh towels was rough due to the language barrier but other than that we have zero complaints! Would stay again.

We loved our stay. The place is very nice, safe, clean, well maintained, quiet and very peaceful. Everything is as shown in the photos, so there were no surprises upon arrival. In addition, the host was very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. It was a perfect space to rest and enjoy. We would definitely love to come back.

We booked this Airbnb last minute for two days and had a great stay. The space itself was very clean and modern. We really appreciated extra touches like the water filtration system in the kitchen and the beach towels. We did not use the pool due to our short stay but it had plenty of areas to lay/sit and lots of shade. Other guests were enjoying the pool while we were there and it looked like it was clean and well maintained. I did not give five stars was due to two things. First, the sheets on the bed felt very worn and were pilling quite a bit. The space also has two large windows which were great during the day to let light in. However, the blackout shade only covers 3/4 of the window so at night light from the street came in and in the morning the sun came in starting around 5:15-5:30. This may only be an issue for light sleepers like myself. My boyfriend had no issue with the sunlight. Overall, a very solid Airbnb with responsive hosts!

Great place to stay! Definitely recommend taking the 35 min uber to Tamarindo beach as there is way more to do on that side of town. This place is nice, clean, and quiet, highly recommend!
