Guests have full private access to the entire property. Samara Serenity includes two separate villas: one on the upper level and one on the ground floor. The villas are connected by a beautiful outdoor teak staircase.
Whether you book one villa or both, you will have exclusive use of the pool, terraces, and common areas throughout your stay.

- The pool is not fenced. Children must be supervised at all times.
- An outdoor shower is available; please rinse off sand before entering the pool.

This was my first time to Costa Rica and we had a large group: 6 adults and 6 kids (ages 1-12). The house is beautiful, clean, and has so many thoughtful designs and functional elements for hosting a large group that made the stay extremely comfortable and enjoyable. Having 6 showers was important for getting everyone clean after the beach and separate living spaces for two families to relax. Plenty of outdoor furniture as well to enjoy the outdoors. One evening we were caught in a rainstorm and happy to realize we could go between the two apartments without getting wet! The host and management team were incredibly responsive leading up the our trip and throughout the trip. We did have an issue with the pool, but the host and management team worked throughout the week to make it right and they made sure we were accommodated for the inconvenience. For our first trip, we could not have asked for anything more! Highly recommend this rental for a family getaway!

I struggled with what to rate this house, because there were so many positives. Our family rented both floors and it was perfect for our group of 10. We loved the location. It was easy to walk to town, the beach, etc. Pool was great, and we would rent this house again. Anna and Samara Rentals were very responsive, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, I can't in good faith rate this 5 stars. As soon as we walked into the lower unit it was very hot and had such a bad mildew smell, that my 80 yo father had to sleep upstairs because of his asthma. Two showers didn't drain at all. Cabinets in the lower had pieces falling off. Upstairs had such a bad leak in one room, we had to put buckets on the clothing rack. Samara Rentals addressed all of these issues as the came up. There were just too many things that should have been taken care of before we checked it, which is why I am rating 4 stars overall. I would rent again because we really liked the house.

This house was perfect for our group of 9 in Samara! Just a short walk to the beach and great places for coffee and food. The house manager was very responsive and helped with any recommendations. Would highly recommend this place!

Perfection! Beautiful! More than enough room for our group of 9. Lots of bathrooms, showers, outdoor and indoor gathering spaces! Amazing pool! No detail left out! The home owners and property managers were amazing! Loved every minute! The beach was walkable! The little town of Samara offered lots of shops and little restaurants!

I was celebrating my 50th birthday in Costa Rica! It wasn’t what I expected, but overall, the stay was decent. I had 6 other ladies with me. We had a several issues on a daily basis, but Anna and Chris resolved issues quickly. Marisio/Leo was awesome!!! He was there every step of the way! The customer service was amazing, but I wish we didn’t have so many issues. Upon arrival, the pool was dirty and there were bugs crawling all over the 1st floor, including in our bed. Mostly ants… I would recommend them to exterminate prior to having guests and clean the pool as well. They had someone to clean the pool after I complained, but two days later, it was gross and dirty all over again with a brown ring around the pool. Originally, there was no chlorine. We couldn’t use the pool half of the time spent there. That was one of the main reasons I picked this place. The a/c stopped working on the 1st floor and 2nd floor at one point at night. The refrigerator wasn’t cooling on day 1 of our stay.

Great stay at Anna’s place. Two identical 3 bedroom 3 bath apartments. In a part of town we had never stayed in before but really liked it - short walk to beach and to town. We rented a golf cart and ATV as well. She provides plenty of beach gear as well! And powerful blenders for margaritas and daiquiris! Would definitely stay again.

Returning to Samara Serenity was even better than we remembered! This luxurious tropical house still exceeds expectations with its spacious design, private pool and wonderful location close to Samara Beach. Everything was sparkling clean and thoughtfully equipped, from the comfortable beds to the well-stocked kitchen. Anna's hospitality was outstanding - she helped with our booking, which made everything smooth. We are already looking forward to returning for another unforgettable Costa Rica vacation!

A year later, and we found ourselves back with Anna at Samara Serenity in Costa Rica. This villa is such a perfect tropical escape with its laid-back yet luxurious Costa Rica vibes. The private pool, the open-concept design and indoor-outdoor living was such a great space to enjoy with our family and friends, so much room! We love the location—just minutes from Samara Beach with tons of local adventuring. We chose to surf for the stay, but there was also zip-lining and horseback riding on the beach. We chilled in the evening, enjoying the sunset from the upstairs patio. Anna made everything easy. Everything you need tours, recommendations, private chef, she's amazing! The villa itself is immaculate—modern, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable. Honestly, we had everything we needed any more. This place is so great, we can't wait to book it again when plan Costa Rica trip #3 happen.
