As others described, Tobi’s place has spectacular views and the best sunset view we have seen so far. Being on top of the hill has its advantages with views, peaceful nature and cool weather! The best thing about this listing besides the unbeatable view is Tobi himself. He went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. I personally think having an amazing host makes stay comfortable and secure when traveling with family. Thank you Tobi for being a wonderful host!

When I asked if we could enter the house before 2, he agreed AND offered to pickup my daughter who was already in the area but without a car and had luggage. Tobi was very helpful, responsive. The house and location were exactly what we wanted. The only downside was our stay was too short. We hope to visit again and will definitely stay in Toni’s place again!🩷❤️💜

Our family of five had a lovely time at the rainbow House cabin. It was just what we were looking for as our home base to explore Monteverde. Toby was an amazing host who greeted us upon arrival and walked us around the property and shared with us about the area and his family history and local things to do. We loved seeing all the birds nearby and the kids had a blast on the vine swing. We would happily stay here again!

Ideal location to enjoy Monteverde and its nature. Very nice view of the Pacific, the forest, the sunsets... There are many animals (we saw more at the accommodation than in the nature parks)! For a short stay, the accommodation is perfect. Very responsive host if anything comes up! The only negative point is that the accommodation is a bit old and perhaps lacks a little maintenance to make this place even better!

We saw more birds at Tobi’s place than any other reserve in Monteverde, the view is amazing and every sunset is a dream, rainbows during the morning, and lots of birds just looking thru the window.

We enjoyed our stay at Tobi's place. The instructions made it seem like "Rainbow house" would be clearly labeled and easy to find once we got on the gravel road up to the house, but it wasn't. Not really a problem, just a heads up, once you turn onto the gravel road, just keep going straight, all the way to the top. There are no signs. The road is really not bad to drive; we didn't need to use the 4 wheel drive. The house gets very hot around 3:00 because the sun just shines into the house, and there aren't blinds to shade it. No air conditioning, but it cools off at night though, so as long as you are out during the day you will be fine. We didn't see as much wildlife as we had hoped, but really enjoyed the view, especially of the sunset. It is a great location, just 4 minute drive to Monteverde and other tourist activities. Tobi is so friendly and kind and really enjoys his home! Would definitely recommend staying here!
