The Space
Casa Nido Nanzal is a modern, three-level home built with concrete, wood, and stone. Perched high above the beaches of Sayulita, it offers panoramic views of the jungle, surf, surrounding hillsides, and town lights.
The property includes:
- A heated saltwater infinity pool with a shallow area for children
- One acre of paved tropical gardens and landscaped grounds
- A rooftop deck with hammocks and a shaded structure
- Four air-conditioned king bedrooms with floor-to-ceiling privacy curtains opening onto the pool terrace
- Three polished white-cement and timber bathrooms
- Outdoor showers
- Four large platforms behind the house for yoga, meditation, or relaxing in the shade
Guests can enjoy a variety of spaces throughout the property, including the pool, indoor and outdoor dining areas, the main lounge, the rooftop deck, and the gardens.
Kitchen and Living Areas
The kitchen, dining area, and main lounge level feature Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The fully equipped kitchen includes:
- Three-step filtered water from all outlets
- A dishwasher
- A central island
- An outdoor breakfast bar
Eight-foot-high doors connect the interior and exterior spaces. Two shaded palapas bookend this level:
- The left palapa provides dining space for up to 15 guests and includes a mobile barbecue.
- The right palapa extends the interior lounge area beneath a beautifully crafted shaded structure.
Around the pool, guests can relax in the shade on lounge recliners, daybed cushions, or café-style table seating.
Bedrooms and Sleeping Arrangements
Each bedroom has a king-size bed. Two portable floor beds are available and are best suited for children. These beds can be placed in any of the four bedrooms; there are no additional rooms.
The house accommodates up to 10 guests, although it is best suited for eight adults and two children.
Outdoor Areas
Casa Nido's walkways lead through the gardens, trees, and cacti. The rooftop deck provides expansive ocean views, spectacular sunsets, and nighttime views of the town lights.

Beautiful location with absolutely stunning views. Theo was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Any time we had a question or concern, he was extremely responsive and quick to assist. I would 1000% recommend renting a golf cart—there’s no way we would have wanted to walk up and down the hill for activities every day. Being able to drive the golf cart into town made getting around so much easier and added a lot of convenience to our trip. The chefs, Alicia and Jorge, were AMAZING. They prepared breakfast for us every morning, which made our mornings so relaxing and enjoyable. Sitting back, enjoying a delicious meal, and taking in the beautiful views was one of the highlights of our stay. We visited during a very hot time of year (June), so I would recommend packing bug spray and even portable fans or misters if you’re sensitive to the heat. As with many tropical areas in Mexico, there are plenty of bugs, so it’s good to come prepared. Overall, everything was amazing.

The View: Absolutely breathtaking. The ocean and pool views are the highlights of the home. The Home: Well-stocked, clean, and even more beautiful in person. The Hosts: Tamra and Theo were incredibly responsive. When an AC unit failed overnight, they had a new one installed just a few hours later. Amazing service and a wonderful stay! We'd definitely recommend!

Theo and Tamra were excellent hosts. This is a first class hosted villa. Theo booked us transportation and chefs for dinners and breakfasts. We had a flight delay and he let in the dinner crew before we arrived. Drinks and appetizers were ready when we walked in the door. Highly recommend the property.
