Wonderful home, its huge, it’s beautiful, spotless, just amazing. Stunning sunsets, a cool patio, just perfect. The only problem is now i will always compare other houses to this one

Amazing stay! The house was spotless, the rooms were super comfy, and the pool was beautiful. The views were absolutely spectacular—truly breathtaking. The home sits up on a big hill, and the driver package made getting around incredibly easy—the van was very nice and comfortable. The concierge was quick to respond and extremely helpful. The housekeeper made a light breakfast for us and helped make our stay even better. We loved everything about this place and would 100% stay again. Highly recommend!

This was our third stay, and once again it exceeded our expectations. We want to especially recognize Guillermo (our concierge host), Victor (our driver once again), and Armeline, who handled housekeeping and prepared breakfast daily. All three were incredible and consistently went above and beyond, making our family feel completely comfortable and welcome—like it was our own home. The daily recommendations were outstanding. Every restaurant, beach bar, excursion, jet skis, catamaran, and private tour was exceptional. Everything was seamless, easy, and perfectly coordinated. We also truly appreciated the thoughtful birthday gestures, especially since we celebrated three birthdays during our stay. The entire team is professional, responsive, and warm, and this experience is exactly why we keep coming back. We highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for something special. They handled every request quickly and flawlessly.

Our stay at Mar-a-Villa by Star Villas in Playa Hermosa was nothing short of amazing! Diego and his team were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and communicative. The house was stocked with amenities, and they went above and beyond to assist with excursions and kept everything tidy. The staff prepared delicious breakfasts daily, and with twelve of us, we all had plenty of space and private bathrooms. The shared areas were clean, spacious and well-maintained. We couldn't have asked for a better experience Highly recommend

I spent my 40th birthday with family and friends here and the house was amazing. They do have strict visitor rules for anyone not staying at home so as long as you understand that. Overall we were all very pleased with the home. And the staff. I had an amazing birthday trip to playa hermosa!

Perfect experience from beginning to end. The house is amazing - even better than the photos. What stood out most was how helpful and responsive every single member of their team was, from the time we booked the house until they dropped us off at the airport to leave. They respond to every message within minutes. If we wanted a car to pick us up, it was there in minutes. Just an impeccable level of white-glove service each and every time we needed something from them. Thank you so much!

We had a great stay here. the house is beautiful. housekeeper keeps the place in great condition in their concierge. it's helpful anytime we had issues or had questions. The walk up is quite steep and I would recommend hiring the driver so that you can go around and easily get to your tours or stores that type of thing. it would be good to know ahead of time what supplies are provided so then you don't have to buy them such as coffee, spices, cooking oils, all sorts of wings. overall, a wonderful stay

We just returned from yet another incredible trip to Costa Rica, and once again, Diego and Star Villas exceeded all expectations! Their exceptional communication from the moment we started planning to the moment we left ensured every detail was perfectly coordinated. Diego and his team provided exceptional service every step of the way, anticipating our needs and going above and beyond to make sure this trip was unforgettable for the entire family. We also want to give a special shout-out to Victor, our amazing driver for the week, who made every journey not only comfortable but also fun and engaging. His warmth and kindness truly made us feel welcome. Armaline, our incredible housekeeper, kept our villa spotless and welcoming throughout the week, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. And Guillermo, our wonderful concierge, was always available to assist with any requests and made sure our trip was really special. We will see you all next year.
