Ana’s place had a jagged screw, no towel ring, by the bathroom sink. Then when I took a towel off the main rack the whole thing instantly fell apart–the supports were completely loose in the wall. There were no hooks anywhere to dry towels. Pura Vida said they’d send someone, but didn’t. I’d said it was no big deal, so I didn’t mind–until I looked through the reviews. People had been complaining about all that since JULY! And…the bedside lights both had the cords wound around the bases and nowhere to plug them in without a lot of work for the guest. The walls were still marked, though cleaning would take minutes with a white sponge. No lightbulb in the desk lamp. No coffee. The condo has comfortable beds and nice sheets; it’s decently furnished and very clean. The location is great. It’s just clear that this company doesn’t care about their guests enough to do basic minor maintenance, read guest comments, and walk through a stay. Ignoring multiple guests is how 5* becomes 3*.

Great place, I always stay at the tower when I go to San Jose. My car was stolen though, from the street just in front of the entrance at 8 pm according to the cámaras. Don’t leave your cars on the street not even for a short time, would be my recommendation.

The location of the house is excellent, very convenient for going for a run in the large park, and there are many cafes and restaurants around, all very good. The bedroom is quiet. You can rest very well. The room is tidy and has a washing machine, which is very convenient.

Very noisy, we had construction works right outside our window - same level as the apartment There were broken hooks and broken toilet seat in the bathroom It was really horrible for us after a long ride with two kids to wake up at 6:30 am from full on construction work The place is tiny so it felt there is no where to hide from it

The place is generally great. It has everything you need to feel at home, including kitchen appliances and a washer/dryer. The apartment has some minor flaws that are easy to fix, like missing a bathroom hanger, the walls would appreciate some painting, etc. Nothing major, all minor details. The main room has its own AC, which is great. Each room has its own TV. The building is really great, with a long pool, and an amazing roof Garden with a great view of San José and the surrounding mountains. The host was responsive and helped us with a list minute accommodation that I needed, which is appreciated. Overall a very good stay.
