This new quaint casita is only a 3-5 min walk to the beach and some of the most consistent surf in Playa Grande. The tranquil modern casita backs up to the beautiful jungle where you can view monkeys swinging from the trees! It has a pool, private lounging area, and an outdoor shower. The casita has a kitchenette that is fully equipped with a refrigerator and freezer. You are also walking distance to great restaurants, yoga, the turtle reserve and more. Tamarindo is only a 30 minute drive away! The space You will love the feel of this casita with its beautiful high teak celings and its big sliding doors. The sliders contain black out roller shades for full privacy and lead to your own private patio. The casita has one bathroom as well as a wardrobe. The backyard is your oasis! You will love lounging by the pool surrounded by tropical lush landscaping. You can even hear the waves from the property! The property is located just outside of the Las Baulas National Marine Park, famous for turtle nesting. You are a 5 minute walk to 3 different surf breaks as well as a calm swimming beach. ** Please note this is a developing town and there is construction adjacent to the property as well as in many areas of Playa Grande ** Guest access The casita is located in the left corner of the property, private from the main house with a private patio. The lock box with the key for the front slider can be located next to the front slider. The pool, outdoor shower, and lounging area are shared with the main house. Other things to note PLEASE: Be conscious of water and electricity use by ensuring that AC and lights are off anytime you leave the Guesthouse. Please make sure to always lock both sliding doors when leaving the property and make sure valuables are hidden away and out of sight. There is a strict no smoking policy in the units and pets are not allowed. Please note that there is a $100 fine should the above not be adhered to, and a 20$ fine for lost keys. ** Please note this is a developing town and there is construction adjacent to the property as well as in many areas of Playa Grande **

We enjoyed our stay at Kristena’s place. It’s close to the beach, the hosts are friendly, and the pool is nice. I hope to return sometime in the near future!

Kristena and Jason are wonderful hosts. They are super welcoming and communicative not to mention knowledgable about the surrounding area. The casita and property are beautiful, well maintained, and offers great privacy. You'll wake up to views of the surrounding foliage and the sounds of monkeys in the trees and the waves crashing on the sand. The space is just the right size with a kitchenette that offers plenty of room to store and prep your own food. It's a peaceful and relaxing place that we look forward to returning to! Halley & Tim

Kristena and Jason’s’ casita was perfect for what we needed. It was located on a beautiful property, walking distance to restaurants, beach, etc. It was very private and clean. Jason and Kristena were great hosts. They provided local knowledge, recommendations and were very quick to respond. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time at this place. Very clean. Love the big windows and the monkeys showing up later in the day. Our hosts were very nice. Good communication.

After close to 50 stays in Airbnbs this was by far our least favorite . Even though the setting was beautiful and was accurately advertised, we were hoping for more privacy & access to the pool. Owners were always there. Room was very small with few amenities. Did enjoy being able to walk to beach.

Playa Grande was the perfect end to our honeymoon. A slow town with a beautiful beach in walking distance as well as restaurants. The casita was comfortable and clean. We would recommend this air bnb!
