The community maintains a strict policy regarding music and events to preserve a peaceful environment for all residents.

• Music is permitted at a moderate volume until 12:00 p.m.
• Failure to follow this rule may result in a fine of $3,000 MXN, charged to the guest through Airbnb or settled before departure.

Because of the natural environment around Lake Tequesquitengo, mosquito repellent is recommended.

Refrigerator Use in Warm Weather

In warm climates, it is especially important to keep the refrigerator door closed whenever possible. This is normal for refrigerators operating in high-temperature environments.

When the door is opened, cold air escapes and is replaced by warmer, more humid air from outside. If the door remains open for several minutes or is opened repeatedly while storing groceries or arranging food and beverages, the internal temperature can rise significantly.

After the door is closed, the refrigerator needs time to cool the air, food, drinks, and interior surfaces again. In a warm environment, this process may take several hours, particularly when many room-temperature items have been placed inside.

For best performance:

• Open the door only when necessary.
• Avoid opening it repeatedly.
• Check that the door is fully closed.

If the refrigerator feels less cold after being left open, this does not necessarily indicate a problem. In hot weather, it may simply need time to return to its normal temperature.

Note About the Lake

As with many natural lakes, a seasonal water-mixing phenomenon may occur during certain times of the year, mainly in winter. This temporary event is part of the lake’s natural cycle, and a characteristic smell may occasionally be noticeable near the shore.

During the rest of the year, the lake generally maintains normal conditions for enjoying the surrounding environment.
