Casa Lilliana was the perfect place for our large family vacation! With 8 adults and 3 grandchildren, we had plenty of room thanks to the multiple spacious bedrooms and comfortable living areas. The pool was a favorite gathering spot for everyone, and we loved spending time by the water relaxing and making memories together. The home was beautiful, well-equipped, and provided great views of the beach. We highly recommend Casa Lilliana to anyone traveling with a large family or group—we would gladly stay here again!
We absolutely loved Villa la Sata! The house was exactly as described and the location was perfect in Playa Flamingo. We can’t wait to go back!

The place, the cleanliness and most of everything else was great. There was some maintenance work in the condo and Special Places was not aware of it... The scaffolding they were using blocked part of our view, but after we complained, they removed the scaffolding. Other than this, everything was great...

We'd like to clarify that the scaffolding was not removed because of your complaint—it was removed because the condominium's repair work had been completed. Unfortunately, these repairs or emergency repairs are being managed by the condominium association, and cannot be always notified in advance. We were surprised by your request through Airbnb for a 90% refund for the entire stay. Since you expressed concerns that the scaffolding posed a risk to your children, we offered what we believed was the most appropriate solution: the option to end your stay early with a full refund for any unused nights. You chose to stay and enjoy the property. We always strive to be fair to our guests while also being fair in situations that are outside of our control.

Overall, we had a great stay. Check-in was smooth, the team was responsive, and the location was convenient. The home worked well for our large family vacation, with restaurants and shops nearby. Note: it’s not on the beach (listed in the description). The studio view was stunning, and the water slide was a big hit. If you don’t have a car, the walk to the beach includes a very steep hill. The kitchen is well equipped. A few improvements: there was no washer; we weren’t told in advance and had to ask; the pool area had limited lounge seating; and there were no instructions for the pool, hot tub, or fire pit. The TV reception was poor, and technicians arrived without notice. One bedroom lacks a shower. Despite this, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it with better communication.

Excellent place, very clean and tidy. We had a great time. The apartment was very cozy.
So the residence was great a little out dated in regards to lights a bit complicated to get all the lights working. Took a little while but the home was great master bedroom didn’t have a tv and a lot of the rooms needed a tv. I believe only one room had it. Over all for the amount of money we paid expected a bit more in regard to updating the residence. The home is great but the access to the gate is a bit complicated since it only have one control hard to groups to split up because your needing to open the gate for the next group. Over all good but for the money we paid expected more.

Nice place, but we may have had the only apartment that wasn't renovated. On the other hand, everything was very well maintained and as shown in the pictures, with lots of towels and kitchen items. Everything was complete. I recommend it :) There is a beautiful view from the apartment, and it is a safe and quiet place.

This place is absolutely breath taking. The pictures do not do it justice. The local eateries nearby along with the beaches are also fantastic. The onsite groundskeeper was super nice and came up to notify us when there were monkeys out nearby. He also made it feel safer knowing someone was watching the property. I will absolutely be back.

Awesome place. We are a family of 12 and had plenty of room for everyone to come together in the common spaces, yet each couple have privacy in their own room with private bathroom. The house and pool was clean and well-maintained. Thank you for providing us such a great property to enjoy our time in Costa Rica.

The house is older, with amazing views, roomy open floor plan, nice infinity pool, a lot of great outdoor space. However, my daughter had to sleep with no a/c in her HOT room for our entire stay despite someone coming out and “claiming” to fix it. I would like to mention the host did respond, but the problem was never resolved during our stay. The house does have great potential if it was maintained better overall, sweep the porch and around the pool, pressure wash surfaces, attend to the broken wall lights and string lights, replace the old, stained and worn out outdoor furniture, trim dead bushes, just make it look as nice and clean as the pictures. Upon arrival, I had to sweep the inside and the porch, wipe down the kitchen counters, and pick up trash, old deflated pool floats and broken pieces of pool noodles all over the place. I don’t think the house is worth the cost if all these issues aren’t addressed. You do need a 4x4 vehicle for the road up the mountain.

We had a beautiful stay here. The place was just spectacular and we didn't want to leave. The pics match the place and views were some of the most beautiful I've ever seen. Very beautiful home as well. Definitely need a good car to get up the steep hill. Would definitely book again.

We booked Casa Lilliana for a week-long work retreat with some colleagues. It absolutely exceeded our expectations! The house is spacious, clean, and well-equipped and the location is amazing!
