A very beautiful place with everything you may need. Norma is always attentive to everything.

I would say this is an Airbnb plus. They are seven villas in total and on-site host with small reception area that can help you with your amenity requests. Everything is well organized, and very detailed oriented. The rooftops were great with great view and covered seating with firepit on your own villa. Not all amenities are included in the price. They do have a price sheet. The on-site host was very helpful and friendly. I had not noticed that there is no air-conditioning, but we really didn’t need it. Being directly on the water was a big plus. We had our own dock and we were able to get to our place via boat very easily. The town, San Juan La Laguna is about 1 km away. We were walking there as there is no Uber in the area, but then we ran across a tuk tuk, which took us into town. Once in town, there are many tuk tuks and San Juan is a very nice town with typical food and lots of arts and crafts and chocolate and jewelry shops. Definitely recommend staying at Principitos.

This was such a cozy villa. I originally had booked a different villa but when we arrived we liked the villa closer to the beach. They were nice enough to upgrade us at no additional cost. I highly recommend this villa!

We loved our stay here, especially after having to rebook from a previous listing that wasn’t exactly all as advertised. The grounds are impeccable, the place was spotless, and Norma (the manager) was such an angel! She helped us with anything and everything. I also loved the temazcal experience. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay. From our arrival, everything was excellent: Mrs. Norma was attentive at all times. They met us at the dock and helped us with the bags and with my child, which made a big difference after the trip. The service was super warm and attentive. They really made us feel right at home. The house was beautiful, comfortable and very well maintained. We really appreciate all the attention and hospitality. We would definitely go back and highly recommend it.

Our stay at Principito’s Universe took us back to those days of meeting locals and connecting with a place through their lives. This place is gorgeous, the staff was incredible and the whole stay was special. Thank you!

From booking to checkout, Norma was a wonderful host. She helped us navigate transportation around the lake and arranged lanchas through text, making everything very easy. Since we get carsick, we appreciated being able to drive directly to the property, though I recommend arriving during daylight because the road gets very windy about 20 minutes before the house. The property was beautiful, especially lit up at night with gorgeous flowers all around. We loved relaxing on the rooftop in the morning listening to the birds and trying their delicious signature coffee. The location was also very convenient — San Juan La Laguna was just minutes away and ended up being our favorite town on the lake. One tip: bring mostly cash, as the local Banrural only exchanges clean $100 bills. Overall, we had a peaceful and beautiful stay on the lake. Thank you, Principitos Universe!

We had an excellent time at Principitos Universe. The location is very quiet and only a short tuktuk ride away from the most beautiful town on the lake. The villa was well equipped, clean, a private pier and beautiful views. Norma was an exceptional host, quick to respond to our numerous questions and overall went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable and memorable. I highly recommend staying here.

We really liked Principitos Universe for our group of family and friends who were traveling. The house is very nice, and the location is very convenient; the pier is even more convenient for going out. The staff is very friendly; their service is top-notch!

We had a wonderful stay. The service was truly impeccable. Norma was incredibly helpful and made everything so easy for us, from arranging transportation to helping with other concierge needs during our visit. That support made a big difference in our experience. The lake is absolutely beautiful, and the sunrise views from the property are unforgettable. Waking up to that scenery was one of the highlights of our trip. The place itself was very clean and thoughtfully designed. There’s a special, almost magical atmosphere throughout the property, with lots of plants and charming details that make it feel unique and peaceful. It’s a lovely place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Lake Atitlán

Great stay! Views were incredible, great location accessible by boat/car. Easy to get to and from other towns. Had filtered water and snacks/drinks/amenities for purchase. It’s in a gated compound so felt very safe and secluded with beautifully kept grounds. Norma was extremely responsive and helpful! The only slight drawback were a few bugs- we expected some given the landscape but we were a bit spooked by the size of the spiders and the amount of ants. we alerted Norma and she took care of it immediately & it never became a problem that affected our stay! *worth mentioning the transport recommended by this stay was unreliable. We were picked up in a broken down car and it got to the point where we were stranded on the side of a road for over an hour with smoke coming out of both ends of the car. As four young girls it was scary and honestly ridiculous for a driver to use a car in that condition for a 4 hour mountainous drive. Would stay again but would book transport separately!

We were pleasantly surprised with this place! The property owner kept a lot of trees on the well maintained property, so it was very peaceful and allowed for birdwatching. We particularly enjoyed the easy access to the lake (swimming and kayaking). The staff were extremely responsive and helpful. Very close to town, and I particularly appreciated the drinks and snacks being available. Very cool if you are a fan of Le Petit Prince! The views were astounding! Enjoying morning coffee on the rooftop or an evening by the firepit was very relaxing. Finally, the temezcal was great for sweating everything out. I would definitely come back

10/10 get the villa closet to the water, the views are perfect! Waking up & sliding the doors and looking right out and seeing the water and volcanos is so good for your mental health

Lovely place in a nature oasis

This villa exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived and Norma greeted us, we felt right at home. The views from the villa and the dock were absolutely stunning— even more beautiful than described. Norma is incredibly kind and helped us with everything we needed. The grounds were peaceful and relaxing, making it the perfect getaway.

The place is conveniently located between two towns, and tuk-tuks run all the time. You can be in either town in 5 minutes. The place and amenities are great. Shout out to Norma for making our stay great. Norma has been amazing and super responsive, but you would have a better time if you speak Spanish or use Google Translate to talk to them in Spanish. Hot water can be a bit finicky, at least in our room; the hot water kept going in and out.

My stay at Principitos Universe was absolutely wonderful. Norma was so helpful and no top of everything. Check in was easy and the Airbnb looked just like the photos. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a peaceful get away.

This place had a surreal view! I could even see a volcano in the distance puffing smoke. The place felt like home right away. Staff, especially Norma, were so helpful in everything we needed. I cannot say enough about how much I loved it. I wish I had more time there. 100% Recommend.

Even though we arrived in torrential rain we were welcomed and helped. Norma kept a watchful eye on us and we had a great family trip!
