the place is beautiful!

I would say this is an Airbnb plus. They are seven villas in total and on-site host with small reception area that can help you with your amenity requests. Everything is well organized, and very detailed oriented. The rooftops were great with great view and covered seating with firepit on your own villa. Not all amenities are included in the price. They do have a price sheet. The on-site host was very helpful and friendly. I had not noticed that there is no air-conditioning, but we really didn’t need it. Being directly on the water was a big plus. We had our own dock and we were able to get to our place via boat very easily. The town, San Juan La Laguna is about 1 km away. We were walking there as there is no Uber in the area, but then we ran across a tuk tuk, which took us into town. Once in town, there are many tuk tuks and San Juan is a very nice town with typical food and lots of arts and crafts and chocolate and jewelry shops. Definitely recommend staying at Principitos.

This was such a cozy villa. I originally had booked a different villa but when we arrived we liked the villa closer to the beach. They were nice enough to upgrade us at no additional cost. I highly recommend this villa!

We loved our stay here, especially after having to rebook from a previous listing that wasn’t exactly all as advertised. The grounds are impeccable, the place was spotless, and Norma (the manager) was such an angel! She helped us with anything and everything. I also loved the temazcal experience. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay. From our arrival, everything was excellent: Mrs. Norma was attentive at all times. They met us at the dock and helped us with the bags and with my child, which made a big difference after the trip. The service was super warm and attentive. They really made us feel right at home. The house was beautiful, comfortable and very well maintained. We really appreciate all the attention and hospitality. We would definitely go back and highly recommend it.

Our stay at Principito’s Universe took us back to those days of meeting locals and connecting with a place through their lives.
