Excellent apartment, large, bright, very complete and comfortable

Recently stayed at David’s place and it really exceeded our expectations. It was clean, spacious, and the rooftop pool and beach view were amazing. I loved that restaurants, shops and the beach were in walking distance, and if you dance salsa there is a fun Cuban restaurant about two minutes away. I will definitely be back! Thanks again David for answering my questions before and after our trip, and though we never met you in person, we knew you were always there.

David’s residence is in the middle of everything ! Restaurants , theme parks , beaches , everything . Would definitely recommend to others around me if you’re thinking of coming to Playa de Carmen . Will be back !

This condo at Cruz con mar exceeded our expectations . The building and rooftop pools were pristine and the rooftop bartender Guillermo was very friendly and accommodating to anything we needed . Check in was very simple with the help of Marisol and front desk staff , had a minor issue needing a light bulb and safe key and David’s crew had it resolved in a timely fashion.The location of this condo could not of been better , close enough to the beach and 5 th ave but just far enough for peace and quiet.i would highly recommend this condo

My friends and I enjoyed our short stay at David’s place. We did have a little difficulty finding it - for some reason everyone’s maps kept sending us somewhere else. Wish there was pictures of the building outside or something significant nearby. The home was beautiful, great location and the home was a LOT spacious than expected. David was quick to respond and was very accommodating. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful, clean, and spacious place in a great location. Parking was convenient, walkable to everything yet quiet and peaceful. We had a little issue with the building losing power on the day of our arrival but David was very communicative and reachable during the entirety of of our stay. Highly recommend!

David's accommodation in Playa del Carmen was a lovely place to stay. We had everything we needed in the apartment and were close to everything we wanted to do in the area. The street the apartment is on is quiet and clean, yet right beside 5th Avenue. It was the perfect location because we couldn't hear any street noise even though we were so central! I would definitely stay here again if I return to PDC.

The accommodation was clean and comfortable. There were many things to do nearby, and it was nice that they responded quickly.

The building is in a great location with easy parking and great walkability. There was always someone at the front front desk who was welcoming and friendly. The building has a relaxing rooftop pool and bar with great views. Guillermo was an amazing and thoughtful bartender who made amazing drinks! Our host was welcoming and communicative. We really enjoyed our visit and would stay again.

The location is perfect - very close to the beach and 5th Avenue (where all the shops/bars/restaurants are located) but far enough removed that there’s no issues with noise at night. The rooftop pool deck was very nice, the parking garage was very secure for our rental car, and we had great communication with the host. We didn’t do any cooking but note that the kitchen only has the bare necessities, and there are no beach towels so be sure to bring your own

Super clean and modern, very spacious and responsive. Location is the best, near all the action on 5ta avenida but far enough from all the noise at night. The pool was beautiful with an amazing view of the ocean

David’s place was a comfortable and quiet place with everything we needed. Plenty of space with a lovely, peaceful balcony. More spacious than shown in the photos. Great closets/storage with plenty of room for your luggage and items - the place was nice and open and free of any clutter. Having two bedrooms, each with attached full bathrooms, was perfect for our needs. The half bath and washer/dryer were bonuses. Close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Nice, relaxing pool area. All amenities made for a wonderful Playa Del Carmen vacation.

David’s place at Cruz Con Mar was fabulous. Great location, so close to everything in Playa, yet at the end of a quiet street. The beds were comfy and the apartment had everything we needed, including safe garage parking for one car. The roof top pool was gorgeous, had an awesome bar & bartender and comfy chairs. When we had questions, David and his team were super responsive and helpful. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

very well maintained condo! the location is as good as it can get and thoroughly enjoyed the roof top pool and the bar. It is so centrally located and felt very safe.

This apt. is in the perfect location - tons of restaurants and great beaches in easy walking distance.... and best of all was Guillermo -the bartender on the rooftop pool. Best spicy margarita ever. Very peaceful and just 2 blocks off the fun 5th ave. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful plush home for 5 days. Lots of sitting area, well stocked with cutlery & utensils. bring your own coffee, we didn't see a kettle for tea though. corner space gave privacy can work out or yoga in the balcony. So close to Oxxo. close to 5th Ave although still away so at nights it was peaceful. Hot showers, laundry available, clean surface areas. all in all really good . the pool & terrace is beautiful and relaxing. house rules easy to follow. We felt safe in the neighborhood we were in.

Great location, beautiful apartment! Liked how you can shut off all electricity when you leave the apartment, instead of turning things off individually. Spacious airy living space with beautiful whole wall slider window. Quiet neighborhood but easy walk to beach and best restaurants. Highly recommend!

The location was perfect! A couple blocks from the beach, great restaurants, shopping and entertainment. A large super market was close by making it easy to get food and beverages to stock the condo. We felt safe throughout our stay. The front desk was friendly and bartender at the pool bar was great! The building was quiet, great for families, definitely not a late nite party atmosphere which was fine for us. Basic stocked kitchen and bathrooms. David was very attentive when we had questions. Overall, a comfortable, quiet and clean condo!

It was a fantastic experience. Highly recommend the property. Maybe a bit better explanation of directions to the complex would be helpful. Fortunately, I speak enough Spanish to communicate successfully with local taxi drivers so it all worked out. Bring a swimsuit...the rooftop pool is fabulous!

David’s place was nice and I love the open layout. Once I was taken care of and settled everything was great and we really enjoyed the area which know very well for going for so many years now ! His concierge team and help in assisting us with groceries and recommendations was great ! I recommend anyone to stay there. Also the pool , and the small rooftop bar and bartenders were so nice and helpful as well! Thanks David !

The rooftop pool was amazing and the Guillermo the bar tender made the best drinks in all of Playa! Absolutely worth every penny!

Amazing place. Really beautiful and clean.

LOCATION is perfect.The area is very quiet and safe. The complex itself has 24 hour person at the front desk. Taxi's can be easily gotten one block up the street. The pool is nice. The lounge chairs are in high demand. Some chairs had pads and others did not. The bar is good with great bartender. The unit itself was clean, comfortable and spacious. Special note for entry you need 2 codes to get in. One for a lock box that has a key for the deadboldt and one for the electronic lock on the door. Everyone we came in contact with at the facility were very nice and helpful.

David’s place was very spacious with a newer luxurious feel. The beach was right around the corner. The famed 5th avenue/Quinta Avenida is down the street which is good because it’s quiet and peaceful. There is a beautiful rooftop pool and bar which has a view of the Caribbean Sea. There is great French bakery nearby called Chez Celine as well as a 7 eleven for any grocery needs. I would definitely recommend this place and stay there again if I visit.

Great place and you can't beat the location. So much within walking distance - food, atm, grocery store, shopping, beach. The rooftop pool was amazing and the bartender Guillermo was awesome to visit with. One thing to note - there are no paper towels, towels, or napkins in the kitchen, but we were easily able to get them at the Selecto Súper Chedraui which is a really nice grocery store about 4 blocks away. We visited there several times throughout our stay. Would definitely stay at David's place again! It was our favorite stay on our vacation.

We totally enjoyed our stay at David’s Cruz con Mar property. It is a private and beautifully maintained condo with a lovely balcony, functional kitchen and large living areA. The two bedrooms and baths are perfect for small families or friends traveling together. My husband and I enjoyed the extra space to catch up on work. The rooftop is a fab retreat with large pool and comfy bar. The bartender Guillermo is super friendly and is there from 12 noon until well into the evening. We found David’s condo clean and in very good shape. For the price, it’s a good experience and we would strongly consider staying again. Although the listing states an electronic keypad for entry there is actually a key system and check in was rather simple but the door was a problem. Don’t worry however, David and his team solved the problems.

First of all, check in was super easy. The receptionist are very nice and accommodating. The place was just as described. We were provided with toiletries, dishes, utensils and shampoo. The neighborhood was peaceful. My party of 4 felt very safe walking around at night. Back to what I said, it was amazing. Definitely thinking about coming back sometime next year and would love to book again with David. It’s a 5 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. Bars are also 5-11 min walks from the place. Lots of good food all around! Pool was very peaceful as well. It closes at 10 and the bar at 8. If you love alcohol, the bartender here will get you right every time! First experience ever in Mexico. Loved it!

The facilities are in perfect condition, clean, spacious, very quiet area, and it has safe parking. Overall I highly recommend it, the price is very accessible.

Can’t say enough good things about this stay and the lovely host. The air b&b was TOP NOTCH ! The location was as close to the beach as you could get without actually being on the beach. The condo staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Lots of restaurants and stores within a short walk. David was VERY responsive and helpful even when we were difficult to deal with (tequila got the best of us) I would give this place 10 stars if I could and I will most definitely be recommending this stay to anyone who asks about Playa Del Carmen.

The apartment is excellent, very well divided and very quiet. Central air-conditioning, the equipped kitchen, and a nice balcony. Communication and response with David and his staff was quick when we had questions. The gym in the building overlooks the sea and the pool space is beautiful with an equal view of the photos. - Besides being Pertinho da Praia. Thank you David for the stay, and if one day you come to Brazil you will be welcome to meet our accommodation at Casa Oásis, it is in Paranapanema - São Paulo!!

Great quiet spot in a modern building just steps off the main drag, situated on a cul-de-sac with no noise or traffic. Underground parking, 24-hour door staff and rooftop pool. Perfection!

Very nice condo. It was close to fifth Avenue and the beach. Lots to do around 32nd St. The condo itself was very nice well-kept clean. The rooftop pool and bar area were amazing with nice views of the ocean.

Great unit right in the heart of PDC, next to beach, but also a private and quiet atmosphere at the same time. Unit is bigger than appears and well equipped with all the standard items, including for kitchen. The hosts were extremely responsive on all occasions, including when I both (a) locked us out of the unit, and (b) the following day completely lost the key.... In both cases this was immediately handled in professional manner. I would definitely recommend this unit and building for those who are looking to explore PDC and the Riviera Maya, while also having a nice homey place to stay in town.

David's place was so wonderful! The apartment was immaculate, the beds were really comfortable and the rooftop pool was such a luxury. The on-site team was extremely responsive and friendly when we had a little hiccup with check in. Everything was conveniently walking distance (grocery, restaurants, 7Eleven, beach). My only feedback is that we could hear the music from Mamitas Beach Club from the balcony and rooftop all day and evening which slightly impacted the experience of a peaceful reprieve with family. However, you couldn't hear it inside the apartment so sleeping was very quiet. Thank you for a special stay in Playa!

Great apartment, with two good size bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms and very comfortable beds. Looked just like the pictures. Balcony doesn’t have much of a view but is very peaceful and the roof terrace upstairs has a fabulous view of the ocean. Location is great - best part of town, easy to walk everywhere, supermarket a couple of blocks away and loads of great restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Despite that, and the proximity to 5th Ave, the apartment itself is very peaceful and quiet. WiFi is very fast and reliable if you need to do any work from the apartment.

We were welcomed and allowed to go to the beautiful condo with David's associate, Rene. Rene treated us like we were old friends. He was always very attentive to our needs and delivered water, wash cloths and a toaster in a very timely manner. The condo was decorated beautifully and we couldn't have been happier anywhere else. The location down a private road made it very peaceful. The rooftop pool was awesome. We really appreciated how comfortable the beds were. The kitchen just needed a few more gadgets to prepare meals with. The condo was top notch through and through. Rene and the others were great to work with. We are looking for a return visit to Playa del Carmen and will look forward to working with this team again.

Absolutely perfect location with views of the ocean and an awesome rooftop pool with bar! The host was very helpful with local recommendations and super responsive. We will definitely be rebooking this space.

The apartment is very nice and clean. The location is close to the beach and the stores. The beach access is not through the apartment but a short 5 minute walk. It rained almost the entire time of our stay so we got to spend more time indoors. Having a washer was nice but it would have helped to have some detergent for it too. Also having some basic necessities like sugar for coffee would have been nice. There is a convenience store nearby but not having to go out in the rain would have been nice. The balcony is not as private as we would have liked.

I have gone to Playa del Carmen many times and this is the best place I have stayed for a long time! The apartment is amazing, it has everything you might need, super nice and the location is unbeatable, it is steps from 5th avenue but you can't hear any noise. It has private parking which is a bonus if you have a car, as you don't have to worry about leaving it outside. Also super good service from the hosts, they were very friendly and available 24/7, I will definitely return to this apartment on my next trip to the beach :)

Beautiful place, everything perfect

This is the perfect place to stay in PDC! Spacious, modern, clean with a beautiful view of the ocean from the rooftop pools and a great bar! The front desk staff and security always friendly and courteous. Two blocks from 5th Avenue and two blocks from Mamitas Beach. Book David's place, you will not be disappointed!

Location, location, location! This place was great and perfectly located to everything in Playa! We were able to park our rental vehicle (but only one) in the covered parking garage and walk on 5th Avenue where all the food, shopping and bars are. You are literally two blocks away so close enough to everything but far enough to be able to relax. The pool was great with a wonderful view of the beach which was just a block away. The apartment is just as described and the beds extremely comfortable with a cold AC! There is a key mechanism that I had never seen before that turns off the electricity when you leave which is really smart but have to place it in just right when you return to be able to turn on and off the electricity in the apartment. But even with the AC off while we were gone the apartment was still cool. The staff at the entrance was extremely friendly and the area great! Will definitely stay here again!!!!!

Perfection!! David’s place is exactly as described, and his and Renee’s quickness and thorough communication was outstanding and much appreciated!! Excellent location and wonderful, clean, safe & comfortable property. We booked this property last minute as we were leaving a different airbnb that we had just checked into, whose posting was highly misleading and the property was not suitable to stay in, so I was nervous to say the least. We could not have been more pleased with David, Renee & the property!! Thank you so much for saving our last night in MX!! We truly appreciate it!!!!!

We just returned from our stay at David’s condo at Cruz Con Mar. We were there for 6 nights and enjoyed our stay tremendously. First, the apartment is very spacious and is as pictured on the website. TV’s are big and internet was great! Our bed was super comfortable. Secondly, the location is outstanding. We loved the easiness of walking everywhere and always felt safe and secure. The entire staff at the front desk is super helpful and kind. They will call taxis for you and arrange for anything you need. The pool is amazing and we enjoyed our time there. The seaweed was a real issue the week we were there., so we took the ferry to Cozumel and spent a day at a beach club where the beach was fabulous! We also took a taxi to a hotel about 30 mins away in route to Tulum called “Paamul” and loved our day there ( very small and quiet ). We ate lunch and had the most delicious fresh Bass grilled over the fire. We will come back to this beach again. One of our favorite restaurants was Don Chendo accessible by taxi, they have the best deep dish pizza amongst other Italian dishes. Delicious! We also had breakfast one morning at the Grand Hyatt which is 2 blocks away. After breakfast we enjoyed relaxing in their pool lobby and loved the views of the blue ocean. We definitely appreciated all the quick communication with David and Rene and their response to any needs we had. We will be back for sure!

This is an amazingly clean two bedroom, three bathroom apartment in the perfect location. It’s quiet but oh so close to 5th avenue and Mamitas beach club. There is ample space, a nice kitchen and an outdoor patio with an ocean view. The rooftop pool is a nice luxury and they’ve just about finished the bar up there too. The staff is helpful, David responds to any issues quickly and the underground parking looked accommodating, though we didn’t have a car. I’ve been coming to PDC for 10 years and this is as good as it gets.

The best bnb I've stayed in. The place was very clean and spacious. I loved having an ensuite in both bedrooms! The bed is super comfortable. The best amenity about this place is the gorgeous roof top pool! We also enjoyed the location, tucked away so it was quite but still a quick walk to 5th Ave. We had a couple of issues with the e-lock but the host came to our rescue right away when we were locked out. We were very sad to leave and would return in a heartbeat!

Absolutely perfect AirBnb experience. Upon arrival / check-in, the staff of the Cruz con Mar building make you feel more as if you are staying in a luxury hotel, rather than a condo. The building itself is very nice, with modern finishes and thoughtful design touches throughout. The unit is equally nice, with great A/C, water pressure in the showers, ocean views and excellent WiFi (roughly 200down/70up). The hotel-like vibes continued on the rooftop, where there is a massive heated pool and adjacent jacuzzis, with breathtaking views of the beach and ocean. The location is also ideal: smack in the middle of anywhere you might want to walk to, but down an absolutely silent tree-lined side street (something we found to be a true rarity in this area of Playa). This will without a doubt be my first choice when staying in Play del Carmen in the future.
