Nice house with amazing private beach access

I very much enjoyed my stay. Lovely home and a beautiful view.

I couldn't be happier with our stay. Its an amazingly convenient location in the middle of everything. However, with the thick rock walls you really feel like you're in a secluded environment. The views from the back area of the beach, reef, and sea are amazing. You can see up and down the coast in case you're trying to see if the wind is coming up. I would happily stay here again.

We had a fabulous stay at Richi's home. Having never been to Baja, we didn't know what to expect, but this home was perfect for our family. Richi sent me clear instructions of how to get inside, and we were amazed at how spacious and homey this place felt. With El Sargento and La Ventana having a lot of ex-pats, and tourists coming in, the towns are being built up with modern homes, which is okay, but we crave the more authentic feeling. Richi's home was clean, comfortable, and made us feel more like locals. The richness of the home was in the treasured stone, clay tiles, and authentic wood touches. It felt like it was built with love. The sunrises cannot be beat from the back porch, and the stairs down to the beach made our time on the sand easy and enjoyable. There was a small issue with the hot water when we first arrived (not to the fault of the owner), and it was resolved within moments of me notifying him. Such a responsive and caring host. Don't miss this gem!!

Awesome ocean view with beach access. Richi was quick to respond with any questions or issues. Well stocked kitchen. Very spacious for our party of 4. Will book again when in El Sargento.

Great location, on a high bluff above the beach. Nice covered porch for hanging out in the shade. Taco stalls, meat and fish store are within easy walking distance. Kitchen had french press, coffee grinder, juicer, etc. Richi was a great host and very responsive when we had questions.

Location was great. Easy walk to restaurants and beach access. Showers great. Beds super comfy. nice living room and outside area to hang out. Beautiful views of the sun rise over the ocean/mountains. Quiet location. Kitchen well stocked. Easily sleeps 6 with one king size bed and four singles. Place was even better than the pictures. Always felt safe. Plenty of private parking.

Great ocean view

The location of Richie’s home was PERFECT! Gorgeous views especially great in the am to watch the sunrise. The home itself while for some may be a bit outdated for us it was great. There is no TV and no microwave but we enjoyed being disconnected there. WiFi worked great and the stairs to the beach were updated to beautiful stone steps right down to what I would consider a private beach with very little foot traffic and I only saw one atv the entire time! We were there to kiteboard and while I did see some launch from the house I wouldn’t recommend it especially at low tide as there is a reef that runs all along that stretch of beach. However just a 10-15 min walk in either direction is great kiting!

We were very happy! The location is excellent! Unbeatable, right on the beach and with a great view of Isla Cerralvo. If we come back, we would definitely stay with Richi!

Great stay, great views, great location. House well insulated from noise and heat. Photos very accurate. Stairs to beach, could be a challenge for some. Richi very responsive.

Every morning I woke up and walked out back for a gorgeous sunrise. The view is stunning. With the doors and windows open the breeze off the bay blows through the house, keeping it cool. Everything worked great and we loved the yard and interior. The place is fantastic, will be back.

Amazing place for beach vacation, only few steps away from the sea!

Amazing location right in town and the beach access can’t be beat. The house is as described and shown in the photos so no surprises.

Our little family loved their stay at Ricardo's. He welcomed us on our first day. Everything was in order and functional in the house. He made sure we didn't lack anything during the stay. The most beautiful part of the place is undoubtedly the backyard with breathtaking views of the Sea of Cortez and access to the beach from the house. It was a great place to enjoy the view, the sea, the beach and the beautiful atmosphere of the city. I highly recommend this place!

I can't speak highly enough about Ricardo's place, except I don't want everyone else to book it so I have a chance to stay again in the future. You won't be disappointed. Don't miss the views of the sunrise and sunset from the patio, unbeatable. Thanks Ricardo!

What a beautiful location! The house is plenty big with 3 bedrooms. A few small features would make this place amazing. There are a couple large steps that are more difficult for little ones and something to be cautious of. A few additional child friendly kitchen items, such as plates and cups would be a nice addition. The home located above a beautiful beach is such a great way to wake up in the morning and spend a lazy day! We absolutely loved having beach access and being able to watch the kite boarders from the patio. Absolutely a breath taking location! We would definitely stay again!

Unbeatable location!

Ricardo is a good responsive host. The house is located on the Main Street but being on the patio is a whole other world . Beautiful quiet beach with good winding private stairs down and beach walks as far as the I can see. If you go with the expectation that it’s a Mexican beach house, you won’t be disappointed. If you’re looking fit five star luxury, this town isn’t for you anyway. Kite boarding, hot springs, street food and adventures await here. Or easily spend the entire time enjoying stunning scenery from the patio and just walking the beach .
