Mariana's place was amazing, and she is lovely! Exactly like the pictures! 8 minutes walking from the city center, and the house is beyond amazing. We were 9 people, and all of us fit comfortably without any problem. The house has all the amenities that you can think of, and the bathrooms are huge too. I would definitely come back here.

We loved visiting Merida and staying at Mariana's beautiful home. We had four couples and there was plenty of room for each to have privacy but also come together for breakfast, share the pool and plan excursions and dinners. There are many activities to do in and around Merida, and we found having our own cars was very helpful for getting out into the larger area. Having garage space at the house was great, as street parking is a bit tricky by the house. Around town, we walked, as there are many great restaurants, museums and shops within close range. Additionally, it was very fun for us was having Mariana's housekeeper, Librada, make breakfast for us each day. She was a delightful person and a great cook! We would love to visit Merida again and if we do, we hope we can stay at Mariana's home again.

We loved this awesome compound for a group of friends in town for a wedding. It has a good amount of privacy, space, and has two pools. We loved interacting with Librada. The location is near to many things in Centro.

This house is very beautifully designed and the layout worked well for eight friends for two weeks. The furniture inside and out was comfortable as were the beds. Our host was very responsive to my texts and her housekeeper Libby was lovely but she did not speak English. She came every couple of days to sweep and take out our garbage which was nice. We did have an issue with no hot water in the smaller house that was resolved by a plumber in a few days however we found the hot water in the guest bathrooms spotty throughout our stay. Not a huge deal for our group. The houses location is a 10 minute walk to lots of restaurants and interesting sites. We had Libby cook dinner the night we arrived and we had delicious chicken for two more meals. We took a food tour with “Eating with Carmen” and thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend it highly We enjoyed our stay in Merida at this home very much! Thank you

We loved Mariana's space. The house is very nice and very spacious to accommodate large groups comfortably. The attention and details made our stay very special and made us enjoy our visit to Merida in a special way. Mariana's recommendations for places to visit were very worth it and the location of the house is privileged in the center of Merida to go for a walk and find everything you need. We were a party of nine and we had a great time! It was a lovely house and very comfortable. Librada was such a great help, and was always available. It is also very well located, a couple of blocks from everything (walking distance). And a little shop in front with snacks and drinks, which came in handy. The space for parking was perfect, it fit both of our cars. I highly recommend, if I visit Merida again I would definitely book this again.

We stayed a week for a Family Reunion. The place is super well located in the heart of downtown Merida. Easy to walk to restaurants shopping and downtown attractions. The place is spacious, clean and cozy. The best part was the service. We asked our host to have Librada (house maid) to cook for us breakfast every day. She made us delicious local breakfast and was very nice and helpful!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! The two separate homes within the compound worked perfectly for us. It all felt light and airy and fresh - we enjoyed the outdoor living areas and pools, and how all the rooms centered off of the courtyards. The roof terrace was a much enjoyed bonus, and Livy was a treasure. We hope to return to lovely Merida soon!

The house is very well located, in the center, you can walk to everything. Super spacious, ideal for groups. Librada was the best, attentive, deli kitchen, very friendly and supported us in everything necessary! We would definitely come back.

Was a great size for the number of people in our group. The pool was a real treat, and the best part of our stay, especially when it was hot.

When we first stumbled upon this house, it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. The house is just perfect! Centrally located, walkable to plenty of restaurants and cultural spots. Mariana is the most thoughtful, gracious host. She provided us with all the information we needed and was extremely flexible with the check-in/out times. The house is beautiful, with plenty of space and daylight. Nicely decorated and well equipped. It is worthy to have Librada prepare her delicious breakfasts... and she can even do groceries for you before your arrival. Thanks Mariana for a wonderful weekend! Mariana was a fantastic host and Libby was an amazing cook and kept everything super clean. Definitely would recommend staying here. Mariana is super responsive and very accommodating. Honestly one of my best Airbnb experiences in years.

Definitely a perfect house for group trips or large families. The photos show it as is. Many areas for living together. And the extra service of the Librada cook is not to be missed, delicious cuisine and you can ask her for many typical dishes of the region. Mariana's attention and response was excellent. Their recommendations are very good. I loved the decor and the art touches you find all around the house. I will definitely be back!

The perfect hacienda for a true local flavor. The location was perfect and an easy walk to the square and downtown Merida with lots of restaurant. Mariana was a gracious host and Librada, the housekeeper, is darling and kept the place clean every day. The place is truly stunning and just as pictured.

Mariana was a great host, she communicated quickly and made sure everything was ready for our stay, she even got a person to go makes us break fast and the dishes every morning!

Truly had an amazing stay. We were a group of 6 women on a girlstrip. Mariana was an amazing host! She didn't have a guest before us, so we were granted early access to the home and let us extend our stay until our flights. Everything was just as the pictures showed. Mariana was an amazing host and communicated seamlessly through WhatsApp, helping us understand taxi service from airport, making recommendations on driver service for our large group to get to the beach and helped us connect with a COVID lab who offered an at home service. We had daily cleaning service which was lovely and the house was amazing. There are 2 houses but in the back second house there was a very large kitchen/dining/living room where we all gathered. Everything was amazing, we loved the architecture and design of the home. Each room had more than enough storage for us to have our clothes and bags stored and we felt very safe in the neighborhood. The living room also has a smart TV and we were able to connect to the wifi easily. The home itself is very close to the city center and conveniently has a little convenience store across the street. The street the house is on is just 4 blocks east from shopping and restaurants. We walked nearly everywhere. We would absolutely stay here again!

We had a great time! We had 7 adults and 2 small children. Librada the housekeeper was fantastic. Mariana arranged a small grocery trip and some meals to be prepared by her. Everything was clean and exactly what we expected. Mariana was great with communication and answered any questions we had. Will go back next chance we get!

Mariana's home was amazing! We were a group of 13 from three different families and it was perfect. We loved the pools, the furnishings, the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, outside areas, it was all beautiful! The location of the house was also ideal. We walked everywhere! And there was a convenient little store right across the street. Mariana arranged for her housekeeper, Librada, to cook for us and she was a delight. She cooked traditional food and it was delicious. We went home with many of the recipes that she prepared! Mariana was super responsive from our original reservation, to arranging for cooking, ordering groceries ahead of our arrival, and anything we needed. We can't wait to return to Merida and would definitely stay at Mariana's home again and would highly recommend that you do too!

The house is spectacular! Super well located, less than a 10-minute walk to everything downtown, about 25 minutes (taxi) from the airport (depending on traffic.) It has a very large garage where 2 small cars can easily fit or maybe up to 3. We rented the two houses and there were 8 of us, we had plenty of space. We had breakfast at the large house, Librada who took care of everything before we arrived, helped us buy and prepare some food. Delicious cuisine, is super friendly and helps you with everything you need during your stay. The rooms are very large, they all have air conditioning that works perfectly, they have private bathrooms and the best part is that the beds and pillows are super comfortable!! All the rooms are very private and especially the ones next to the pool have 3 doors, you can't hear anything and you sleep deliciously. Right in front of the house there is a mini supermarket where you can buy drinks, snacks, ice, etc... Mariana was super kind from start to finish and that's because of Covid issues we had to change the date twice. She gave us great recommendations for places and always answered all questions very quickly. I would definitely stay there again, we were all happy with the house and Merida definitely keeps a very special place in our hearts.

Spectacular space for a large family or two families to stay. The Pools kept our heads cool in the midday sun and it was super close to centro for city venturing. We love the design elements of the space, and how it made you feel like you are in an oasis of calm. My dream home will look just like this place. Very amangiri!

Mariana’s hacienda is spectacular! We were a group of 4 people and the hacienda was perfect. It had nice communal spaces indoors and outdoors and the rooms are all large and well air conditioned! Given the size of the hacienda, each of us had our own space and it never felt like we were crowding each other. Since we came in the heat of late May, we made plenty of use of the pools! It was great to walk around in Merida and retreat back to the pool once it got too hot! The hacienda is walking distance to the main parts of Centro - Parque mellorada. There are a lot of cantinas, markets, street foods, restaurants, all close by. You can easily Uber (10 min) to other great parts of Merida from the hacienda. The hacienda is also directly across the street from a convenience store for water, snacks, mezcal, beers etc. Mariana and Librada (housekeeper) surprised me with a cake for my birthday during our stay. 🥰 it was so nice. Also, Librada is the funnest, and sweetest lady. She randomly surprised us with treats (homemade salsas, snacks, and agua frescas!) in the kitchen during our stay! We had loved our stay and can’t wait to be back there soon.

This is a wonderful house for a large group. There is plenty of space to hang out together and separately. The location is perfect for exploring the centro and walking to various restaurants. The convenience store across the street is super convenient for water and beer! After a busy day it felt like our secret paradise. Thank you!

The location of the house is very good if you want to walk downtown, Paseo Montejo and go to dinner to good places. All comfortable and the house well equipped to enjoy after walking during the day.

Incredible space and home! We loved gathering on the veranda then having the ability to retreat to our own private rooms. The location was also great and within easy walking distance to all.

The house is quite spacious and very well-designed with areas for conversing, lounging and dining. The bedrooms and baths are large and offer privacy when desired so it was the perfect home for friends/ couples to share. The home is nicely decorated with a mix of modern and with gorgeous tiles on the floors and lovely architectural details throughout that make the place and the kitchen has ample plates, serving pieces and cookware for group dinners or parties. The location is excellent, only a few minutes walk from the zocalo and the elegant Paseo de Montejo section with its shops and museums.

The house is amazing. It is just a 5-10 minute walk to great bars, restaurants, and shopping. With 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, and 2 pools it is very comfortable for 10-14 people. Our group was in town for a wedding and it was the perfect place to allow us to all be together. We were able to enjoy the pool and outdoor spaces as a group. It was very convenient that each bedroom had a luxurious en suite bathroom. The house itself is beautiful. The linens and beds were very comfortable. There were some issues with the plumbing that the host dealt with very swiftly.

Mariana's house is very spacious, the pool is beautiful, it has very enjoyable social areas. The beds are really comfy. And the location is quite good... walking you get to several points of interest in the center. We were greeted with coffee, chopped fruit and the deal was very friendly:)

Mariana's place is just beautiful and any architecture lover will appreciate the construction and the many details that are part of the decoration (catelle, etc.). The pool allowed us to cool down on hot days. There is also the possibility of using air conditioning and fans if needed! The house is very well located and has a large garage allowing 2 large cars to enter. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which is much appreciated. We did not meet Mariana but she was reachable at any time by messages and was concerned in advance of our arrival, which went smoothly. Mariana gave us advice when we wrote to her to see where to go in Merida. Librada, the maid, is very nice and helped us out when we asked her. We forgot some clothes in a drawer when we left and she sent them to us through FEDEX the following week. During our stay, one of the bedrooms had a water problem (there was no more in the toilet or in the shower). Librada immediately came with a plumber and everything was sorted within the hour!

Mariana's house was AMAZING!!! Great space and great service!!! She couldn't have been more helpful and really helped make our stay memorable. Librada, the housekeeper, was also incredible!!! Couldn't have asked for anything better. Very much recommend Mariana's home, hope to be back soon!!!

The house is very large, and it is as seen in the photos, very well equipped with everything you might need, if you have a car it will have a garage for up to three of them, but you will have to do a precise maneuver because the street is narrow, with quite a few cars passing by and the garage is narrow. Mariana is an excellent host, everything was luxurious, it exceeded my expectations, which were already very high in itself when seeing the photos. The house is very nice, super spacious, full of light and a spectacular location. Beautiful details everywhere, my stay was amazing!

This extremely charming house is actually two different units, which I either forgot or did not realize. Perfect for two families wanting their own space. The owners were extremely accommodating by allowing us to shorten our stay when the airline changed our itinerary. We realized that an outlet was not working and the owners promptly had it fixed (a fuse had been blown). The location was ideally located and it was so helpful to have a garage to park our car, as we rented a car to explore all of the wonderful sites outside of the city. There were games for us to play and even a Wii, as well as thoughtful touches, such as fresh flowers and water pitchers left by our bedside. We would love to return to Mérida and rent this house again! Thank you Mariana and Marcos!!!

We were delighted with the house. Fully functional, all amenities at 100 and very useful for large groups. Good location and remarkable architectural style. They don't tell a lot of people, it's a hidden treasure in Merida =)

Beautiful home very close to everything. The owner Mariana is very accommodating. Have not met her in person but made us feel like we have known each other all of our lives. Great house if you are a large group. Recommend using UBER for transportation. They are not allowed to pick you up at the airport , but they can drop you off.

If you are looking for a true oasis located in the city this is the place for you. My friends and I were in the city for a wedding and were within walking distance of everything. I would recommend this house to anyone lookin for a place to stay.

Excellent host, super located downtown house with many restaurants a couple of blocks away. Spacious rooms and bathrooms, excellent living area with TV room and living room on the terrace, internal dining room and dining room on the terrace. Excellent for large groups, the house is all integrated and we loved both the style and the integration.

The photos don't do justice to what the house really is. Beautiful architecture at every corner. Librada made us feel at home all the time. We would definitely come back! Excellent in terms of price-quality.

Our trip to Merida was made that much nicer by Mariana's great house. We were celebrating our parents 50th anniversary and the house comfortably accommodated our party of 12. We can't say enough about Merida itself - the people are so friendly and there is no shortage of interesting things to do and see. The location of the house was perfect for walking to all the excitement in the town centre. Mariana always got back to us very promptly with any questions and Librada (who came every morning to tidy up) was super helpful and sweet. We are happy to give a 5 star review and look forward to heading back one day. What an awesome escape from the Canadian winter!

The house fulfilled our expectations for a wonderful place to gather with family to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Our three married children and six grandchildren had a grand time, and the suggestions in the instruction book were very helpful. And communication with Mariana was very easy, with immediate replies.

What a treasure this place is. Our group of six had plenty of space to enjoy each other's company over meals and to enjoy the openness of the natural environment by the pool while sheltered from the sun. We could each retire to our private spaces which were generous in size. Mariana and her helper Librada were completely available for any need that arose. The kitchen was well equipped. Highly recommended.

Mariana’s place is large, comfortable, and has multiple sitting areas so people can both congregate or find a quiet corner to read. It is the perfect place for a large group, plus the location is convenient to multiple restaurants and shopping. Beds are very comfortable, and each bedroom has a full bath. Washer / dryer is also very helpful. Lastly, Librada, the maid is an added plus!

Everything is very good

We stayed in Mariana’s place with a group of 10 (5 couples) and the Hacienda was perfect! It’s absolutely beautiful and well taken care of. There are 5 bedroom suites with bathrooms in 2 separate buildings with pools, ponds, hammocks and plenty of lounging areas. The location is great, walkable to lots of great restaurants, shops and attractions. We would definitely come back!

This house is very well situated to Centro in Merida and is maintained beautifully. The pictures don't do it justice. Our large family all enjoyed themselves immensely and it was very comfortable. The air conditioning works great and is very effective.

Mariana's place was absolutely beautiful. The streets of Merida are one ways so it is a bit difficult to navigate through, but once you find the house everything else becomes easier. She also includes a booklet of information about Merida and the house. Within the booklet we found recommendations of where to eat and where to find stores. Amazing stay and a beautiful experience. Highly recommend!

What a spacious, tranquil, gorgeous home to spread out in! Recently visiting Mérida for my wedding, I arranged for my family to stay at Mariana's home. Their first time to Mérida, they were seeking something spacious, well located, safe and serene. Mariana's home delivered all of that and then some! It was such a treat to daily hear their adoration and comfort staying in the home, and admiring the location along with them, we all frequently walked to and from the main square and Parqué de Santa Lucia. Safe, comfortable and convenient the home was everything they were seeking and more. The kitchen especially was a lovely gathering place with an open plan to the rest of the home to meet. We did rent both the casita as well as the main house and utilizing all of the generously spaced areas was so very special. As a whole the family now has a huge crush on Mérida and if we were so lucky to make it back together again soon we would absolutely reach to this home to stay in! Thank you much Mariana!!!
