The Space

The house is located in Mérida Centro, near Paseo Montejo, the city’s main and most beautiful avenue. Paseo Montejo connects traditional Mérida with the newer, more modern part of the city.

The property consists of two houses within the same compound: one with a small pool and the other with a large pool. This arrangement works well for larger groups, allowing guests to enjoy private spaces or gather together on the main house’s open terrace, lounge area, and kitchen.

Both houses feature double-height ceilings and pasta tile floors that reflect Mérida’s classic architectural style. The property combines the comforts needed for a relaxing vacation with the ambiance and tranquility of a traditional Mexican home.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Main House

• The primary bedroom includes a king-size bed, television, closet, and spacious private bathroom. It opens directly onto the garden, pool, and shared areas.
• The second bedroom has two double beds, a closet, and a bathroom with its own small private garden. This room also opens onto the garden and pool.
• The third bedroom is located upstairs and is accessible from the terrace. It offers additional privacy and beautiful nighttime views of Centro. The room includes a king-size bed, closet, and private bathroom.
• A separate terrace outside the third bedroom provides a comfortable lounge area for relaxing or enjoying the sun.
• An additional full bathroom is located beside the pool.

Small House

• The primary bedroom features a king-size bed, television, closet, and spacious private bathroom. It opens onto the living room and pool, as well as the small garden and pond.
• The second bedroom has two double beds and a closet. Its full bathroom is located just outside the bedroom.

Comfort and Outdoor Areas

Ceiling fans are available in the bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, and main terrace. Guests can also relax in the comfortable hammocks outside the bedrooms or cool off in either pool.

Kitchen

The kitchen retains a traditional style while offering modern appliances and conveniences.

If you rent a car, a spare remote control for the electric garage door is available upon request. Please return it on the last day of your stay.

House Keys

You will receive a set of house keys. Please close the main door at night and leave the keys at the property when you depart.

Do not lose the keys, as finding a locksmith in Mérida can be difficult, especially on weekends and holidays. Additional keys are available in the drawers of the small armoire at the entrance of the main house and in the maple armoire in the small house.

Pool Towels

The house provides designated pool towels in blue and white or blue and yellow. Please use these towels only for the pools. If you take them elsewhere, such as to the beach, be sure to bring them back.

Water

Tap water is not suitable for drinking in most parts of Mexico. Please purchase bottled water or water jugs with clear labels for drinking.

Parking

The property has a garage, which is relatively uncommon in Mérida. It accommodates two sedans or small SUVs. Vehicles larger than a Toyota Sienna will not fit through the garage door.

Additional Notes

Librada lives far from Centro, so please avoid locking yourself out or requiring assistance late at night. Additional keys can be found in the designated armoires inside both houses.
