We had a trip to the BVI and it was cancelled the day of the trip. I searched for a place for us in Playa del Carmen. I stayed at El Taj years ago and remembered it to be a beautiful property. I was able to book with Patricia the same night of our cancellation and we were able to get into the condo the next day! The condo looks just like the pictures. There is plenty of room with 3 bedrooms. All of the employees are very kind and helpful. Highly recommend staying here and booking with Patricia!

Comfortable, spacious, and clean.

We were very comfortable 5 adults distributed in 3 bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms. The view is beautiful. It is located a few steps from 5th Avenue. Front desk service was always open to requests and were very helpful. Excellent experience.

Great location on a quiet street, clean, safe and only a block away from all the action. Very near to 12 st which has several clubs . I would definitely stay here again.

Great hidden waterfront gem in the central of Playa de Carmen. Walkable to all destinations. Away from the crowded beach spots of Mamitas etc. Everything was perfect. We will be back!

My stay at the property was well enjoyed. From check in to check out I was greeted with friendly staff. There was balloons in my room, since it was my birthday, which was such a cute touch. They continuously gave me recommendations for restaurants and stores and were extremely helpful making my stay a great experience. The inside of the condo was beautiful as well and spacious for my group. Loved the property!! The location is everything! Right on the beach and within 10 minutes walking to countless restaurants and clubs. I would definitely recommend Patricias place.

Recommended to 💯 one block from 5th Avenue of Playa del Carmen less than 2 blocks from the beach, many good restaurants nearby, shops and pharmacies on the same block, you can walk to take the ferry that takes you to Cozumel. Despite being one block away from flats like Abolengo and La Vaquita, the noise from the outside is not heard inside the apartments.

This was our second stay in this beautiful condo and we felt very blessed to have the opportunity to enjoy this little piece of heaven again. The views and amenities are plentiful. Patricia is a wonderful host. The condo management personnel were absolutely the best!!

Patricia's place is awesome! Our family of 5 had a great time. The location is within 1 block of 1st Avenue and 2 blocks away from 5th Avenue - the major hub of shops and restaurants in Playa del Carmen. The condo is part of El Taj Condo Hotels so you have a full support staff on-site to help with any problems. We did not get the cleaning service during our stay, but we changed our beach towels every day and were able to get fresh bathroom towels anytime. Even though it is beachfront, there is not a place to lay out because the Asi Restaurant is in that area. We just walked 5 minutes to the beach in front of the Hilton Hotel (all beaches are public) and had plenty of space to lay out. I would definitely stay here again with my family or friends.

Excellent stay. The host is very responsive and helpful. The condo is close the everything and walking distance to shopping, restaurants and nightlife. We had a great trip!

My family and i really enjoyed staying at patricias place in playa del carmen. Its in a great location. Its 1 block east from the beaches and 1 block west from 5th Ave. The condo is 3 stories. 2 bedrooms on the first floor as you enter. 2nd bedroom is off the living room. 3rd floor is where the hot tub is and has a great view of the water. The layout worked out well for us since there was 2 different couples. Several restaurants that are 1-2 minute walk from the condo that we would recommend is Kobma and plank. There were a little small issues that we had and i could see others having as well. If you are an older couple or have a harder time walking, this may not be the unit you want to stay in. It has 4 flights of stairs that you have to walk up just to get to the unit. Also, we had a hard time figuring out how to get the jets to work on the hot tub. Overall though, it was a great experience.

Patricia was amazing to deal with. The place was great. 3 levels and the rooftop with a view of the ocean was an amazing place for the kids and us to unwind in the evening. The main area was literally right behind the place so we would walk one block. Access to the gym was great aswell. Big gym. Go to the bakery/smoothie place downstairs for breakfast...really good!

Patricia‘s place was absolutely wonderful. It had all the amenities you need for a great stay in Playa del Carmen. Patricia was responsive and helped us with everything we needed before we arrived including transportation. Anything we needed once we got there we just asked the concierge at the front and they provided. The communication between Patricia and myself was fantastic and left nothing lacking. The place is literally steps from fifth Street but it is right on the beach. We did not go to the beach too much because of the Sargasso or seaweed. But it did not take away from the breathtaking view that we had on the room. We are looking forward to staying at this beautiful place again when we come back in a few months.

Penthouse is great, we enjoyed the hot tub and the outdoor area. The crew was very attentive and helpful. They gave us complimentary discounts at restaurants and other perks.

The place was absolutely fantastic. The location was great with 5th Avenue around the corner with great access to shops and restaurants. If Playa Del Carmen is your destination then you need to stay here. The host keeps the place in great condition; the bedrooms are spacious, the private hot tub and grill on the rooftop were phenomenal. The pictures online were highly accurate and actually better in person.

Our stay was amazing! There is not one thing I would change. Clean, plenty of room, everything works. Amazing ocean views from the roof top. The concierge is on point and we waited for nothing we requested. The Condo also partners with another condo about half a block up where you also can use their amenities. The ASI Beach club ( about 1 block away) also partners with this condo and they are awesome there too. We were able enjoy ocean front food and drinks and be treated like royalty - also we were able to to book fishing trips, snorkeling and excursions to ruins, cenotes , and akumal beach through a cool guy named Pedro with his company right at ASI beach club. If you have any doubts about renting this BNB - just do it. It’s amazing! Can’t wait to go back.

This was one of the best air bnb experiences I've ever stayed in. The unit is VERY centrally located, very close to the main strip while still being on a quiet street. Being associated with the hotel was very convenient, and an added perk! The unit itself was pristine, spacious, and had many lovely places to spend time with a group - the main room, the upper deck, and the communal pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and Patricia was a wonderful host. Would definitely recommend!

Patricias place was amazing! Everything is just like in the pictures. The check in/out process is quick and easy and everybody is very helpful. I was a bit worried for my 1yr old because of the stairs and railing but everything worked out just fine. The view from the balcony is to die for and the beds.. let’s just say I woke up later than I should have! I wouldn’t hesitate booking this place again!

The accommodation is perfect, it is very nice, clean, has excellent space and is very well located. It is ideal for a good beach vacation (although I went to work). I highly recommend it and will certainly be returning to a pleasant trip for sure, but on a pleasant trip.

Very nicely appointed place! Comfortable beds! Access to an excellent nearby gym! The resort "beach" isn't great but a short walk in either direction and it opens up more. Located close to the action of 5th but the resort as a whole was surprisingly quiet after dark. Due to its proximity to the beach restaurant, the master bedroom can be a little noisy in the mornings for people who need dead quiet to sleep. However, a very effective, white noise cancelling machine was provided and virtually eliminated the noise problem for me and the other two bedrooms at the back are also much quieter. Very friendly and helpful staff at the resort as well.

This property exceeded our expectations in every way! The condo is beautifully decorated with both elegance and quality in mind, yet comfy like home (at least what one dreams home could be like, lol). My 23 year old daughter says the soap bars are amazing and such a nice touch. Check in was a breeze and the staff were extremely kind and attentive to our every need, not to mention letting us know they are available 24/7 if anything arises. The area is gorgeous and the location is absolutely perfect for enjoying everything Playa has to offer. Thank you so much for all of your attentiveness prior to and during our stay! I plan on visiting the area again with more family and I will definitely stay here again!

It is a very comfortable place, ideal for enjoying a quiet or hectic vacation according to humor as everything is very close and the facilities are very comfortable. For those who feel like booking this place, I would make the recommendation to keep the entire terrace area very tidy and uncluttered. In short, it is a totally recommended place to vacation as a family or for a romantic getaway, a very good place and Patricia is a very attentive host and always available for any questions.

The unit was well located on the quiet side of the building. All the amenities one could wish. The beds were comfortable. Air conditioning in each room. Toilets are slow to flush but good water pressure in shower and plenty of hot water. Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location to 5th Ave. shopping and restaurants. Beautiful pool that was heated!

The unit was just as advertised. The location was outstanding with easy access to the beach and to 5th Avenue. On a quiet street, yet close to the party scene. Patricia was an outstanding hostess, who was very responsive to any questions or concerns. The only caveat that I have is that the unit may be undesirable for anyone that's mobility challenged, because there are a lot of steps to climb and no elevator. That was not an issue for our group, and we would gladly stay in this unit again.

We had an incredible time staying at Maya Villa. We went with another couple and shared the three-bedroom condo. There was plenty of room for the four of us. Actually, I think the condo is bigger than the pictures portray since it is three levels. But, the condo complex itself is pretty small with only about 15 units from what I could tell. So, if you are wanting a busier and more exciting stay, then you will probably want to check out another place. The rooftop jacuzzi was a huge hit for us, and it is private so you don't have to worry about sharing it with any other vacationers. Originally, I was worried about the location for Maya Villa since I thought it was further from the beach, but that is not the case. It's probably a two-minute walk from the beach. It's also about a minute walk to 5th Avenue. Really, the location is perfect. You're close enough to walk but far enough to not hear the loud music from the clubs late at night. And, I never was concerned about my safety. Patricia and her staff were very friendly and helpful. The condo was clean and well kept. We opted out of having someone clean it while we were there, so any mess that there may have been would have come from us. At times there would a sulfur smell, but I do not believe that was specific to our condo. The water is also pretty salty, so just be aware of that when brushing your teeth or showering. I think that's a pretty common thing when staying in Mexico close to the beach. I would recommend using the discount card that is available through condo-hotels (Patricia and staff). The restaurants we ate at were all fantastic and getting the additional discount was an added bonus. She did refer us to the concierge service, which we used for a shuttle to and from the airport. I'd say the only downfall of the entire trip is the beach at Indigo which has experienced some erosion so there isn't a huge beach. We still ate there frequently and used the beach chairs, but it gave us a reason to explore other areas of the beach north and south of Indigo which were completely fine. All in all the trip was a huge success, and I definitely plan to check out Maya Villa if we come back for another trip.

Our family had an amazing time at Patricia’s place! The condo is BEAUTIFUL and such a fun style change. We had our 3 year old with us so I was concerned about the stairs and railings but he did great and we were extra careful. Our group couldn’t stop talking about planning another trip to stay in this condo again soon! The location was ideal, a quick walk to Walmart and well as just steps away from the beach and 5th ave. We hosted a family dinner on the rooftop and it was perfect.

Unbelievable views, breezes, and total relaxation. The balcony is surrounded by nature and provides the perfect spot to close your eyes and listen to the breezes and crashing waves. Our favorite activity was doing nothing, and loving it. The inside of the unit is beautiful and perfectly equipped with anything you need. Just steps or a few blocks away you will find fabulous restaurants and beautiful beaches, making this a perfect location. Patricia was absolutely amazing and attentive, as was the entire staff at El Taj.

Absolutely beautiful and spacious condo right in the heart of Playa!! Beach club is a block away. 5th Ave is a block away as well. Everything we needed was here!! We loved the rooftop deck and spent a lot of our time up there! We will be back next year!

Stay here!!! This place was awesome. Our family group included senior citizens and a baby and we had an incredible time. Great apartment, so much more than promised and within walking distance of multiple beaches and the never ending 5th Avenue. Beach club and restaurant options of every budget level, and a concierge to support with any questions you may have. Even saw a shooting star from roof top jacuzzi one night. We’ll be back.

AMAZING! Far exceeded my friends and I’s expectations. Local tips, access to gym, discounts on restaurants, free 10 minute (or $10 off) massage, and she even let us check in early considering we were coming from Cancun. We wish we could’ve stayed longer. Only con: the smell of the surrounding area wasn’t necessarily pleasant. But it was beautiful and a great location. Walking distance to Mamita’s and the shopping areas.

Patricia’s place was nothing short of awesome! It was much nicer then expected. Worked out perfect for our group of 6.

We loved the condominium thoroughly! It has a great beach view and is one block from all of the action on 5th ave. Plenty of room for numerous people and awesome staff at the restaurant downstairs. Be sure to check on the seaweed conditions as it impacted the view for us.

This condo is absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations! The location is ideal — close to beaches and shops along 5th avenue. The rooftop jacuzzi and grill were a highlight! Patricia was such a wonderful help and responded to all messages very quickly. We highly recommend this condo for couples or families and we hope to return again soon!

Beautiful condo! Exactly like the photos and the private roof top was awesome! Beds were extremely comfortable as well. The beach club is a bit crowded but we used the pool across the street which was very tropical and much quieter. Plus if you go down to 4th or 2nd you can get chairs and umbrellas and food at the public beaches which are bigger. Don't eat at the beach club if you can avoid it. There are too many good authentic Mexican just a few mins from the condo. Make sure you check out Las Aguachillies and Cuevo Chango on 38th. Patricia was very quick to respond to anything we needed. Just send her a quick note if you are missing anything and she will make sure the office brings it up to you right away. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful, super well-kept apartment, with all the details and amenities. We loved the condo and the pool. It has everything we are looking for. Beach, heated pool, covered parking, elevator, super located and close to everything. We'll definitely stay again!

Lovely condo in a perfect location to everything and yet very quiet. Thought maybe it would be noisy being so close to 5th ave but with doors closed it was not loud at all. Clean spaces and Comfortable beds and nice to have the hot tub on the rooftop. Would have been nice to have bathrobes since one of the bathrooms is located outside of the bedroom. The employees of the condo were excellent with great personal service. Would stay at this condo over any all-inclusive resort anytime!

Location, location, location. Right on the beach with beautiful views of the ocean. Poolside with your own terrace hot tub. The liveliness of 5th is literally 3 min walk but the sound of the ocean makes you seem so far away. Perfect for families or couples. Amenities and service of the condo were outstanding and having a beachfront restaurant onsite was added bonus.
