As solid as it gets. Quiet area. I parked outside with no worries. There is a very friendly security guard at night. And the pool is legit. The unit was great. Cold AC and hot water. Clean. Good sized.

Amelia and her staff did a wonderful job sharing information, keeping communication active and making sure everything was set up before, during and after the stay

My husband loved the air conditioners throughout the apartment, one in the bedroom, one in the living room, and a small one in the kitchen. The apartments are very well-equipped with everything you need, and everything is very clean. We would definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay at Amelia's. There was a small supermarket nearby, and a large one 10 minutes walk away. The centre of town ( Plaza Major) was also 10 minutes walking in the other direction. Amelia arranged our taxis on arrival and departure and she was always easy to reach. She also provides beach towels, perfect for visiting Lake Apoyo and for swimming in the pool in the complex. The unit could use a little TLC but that didn't detract from our visit. The AC and wifi worked well.

The cottage is great! Even more beautiful than in the photos. It is in a quiet neighborhood, but within walking distance of everything you want to do in Granada. The pool is also wonderful to cool off and relax. Amelia is friendly and responds quickly. Eva welcomed us on arrival and was also very friendly. Highly recommended!!

The condominium is very comfortable and super clean with good security, close to many places to enjoy, Doña Eva is the one who received us and treated us very well, she was very kind. I'd go back to the condo without thinking.

Fully furnished and functional apartment with a nice big pool. It was very comfortable and secure. there's a night time guard and it's in a quiet part of Granada, but still close to the center. Good value. Amelia was a great host. she usually responded in just a couple of minutes. I'd stay here again, and I did. I'd also recommend it to anyone visiting.

The place is very nice. It is a fully furnished and functional apartment with a big swimming pool. it's clean and secure with a guard on-site during the night time hours. It's close to the center about a 5 minute walk. But not too close because downtown can get noisy. I'd recommend this place to anyone coming to Granada, and I'd stay here again. The owner was always available and responded really fast when I needed help. I had a great stay.

Amelia and co-hosts are extremely friendly, the apartment was exactly what I expected and matched their photos and descriptions perfectly. I definitely will be staying here again!

We stayed two months in Nicaragua and at several different places. This was by far our favorite apartment. We most definitely felt at home at this apartment and looked forward to returning. We had a couple of electrical and plumbing issues during our stay, but Amelia and Nora were quick to respond and fix the problems. If we come back to Nica, we’ll stay here.

In our opinion, the best thing about location is the location. Close to San Juan but isolated from everything in the jungle. Peace of mind. The kitchen is so well appointed and Amelia and Walter respond quickly. Some things need to be repaired, especially the maintenance of the terrace furniture and common areas where the pool is located. Even so, the stay has been very good and we love the community.

This is our second stay at Amelia’s place. Always friendly and quick to respond. She has a great staff and everyone is helpful and makes you feel at home. We will definitely stay again. It is in walking distance of many beautiful sights in Granada.

Beautiful place and impeccable everything, a perfect place to spend your vacations

Great month-long family stay! We loved our stay, the accommodation is very large. We have 4 children and we could have accommodated two other guests, no problem. Super functional kitchen, pleasant and kind neighbors. Walter is more than great, he is efficient and makes sure everything goes smoothly for us. The shared swimming pool is great too, we sometimes meet neighbors (expats, locals), but often we were alone. We heard and seen: howler monkeys, parrots, opossum, all kinds of birds. Well located in relation to the city and the seafront, it takes a car/motorcycle because a little far on foot (4.75 km), even if we did it a few times and it was a great experience. Bus stop at the bottom of the hill too. The climb is a little difficult by car (Toyota Yaris), but it worked for us in the dry season. Amélia responds super quickly and fixed a problem with the Jacuzzi in a few days. In short, we recommend it. We'll be back:)

We had a great time at Amelia's place. The pool is perfect for hot summer days. Amelia is very responsive - when we had issues with the WiFi, she had it fixed immediately, so we enjoyed super fast wifi (minimum 70 Mbps) during our stay. We got drinking water and cleaning services for free, too - something we really appreciated. The area is quiet, and the bed was really really comfortable. All in all an amazing stay.

Millie’s place has done one of my favorite things in the hotel/Airbnb industry - undersell and over deliver! Walter the cuidador is super friendly and helpful, the photos don’t do it justice 😊😊 It’s peaceful, conveniently close to town without any of the party noise. Everything is clean and comfortable. Great value for what you get.

The house itself is excellent, the layout of the rooms and the whole house is excellent, at first we had problems arriving at the bathrooms but Walter very kindly solved it, separate point is the access to the property that the street is bad but that is not a problem with the property otherwise excellent, super recommended.

Amelias places is a perfect place to relax in Granada. The house is fully stocked with everything you need. Big comfortable bed. Great and helpful communication. Highly recommend staying here if your a couple visiting Granada

The manager was on site and always easily accessible. Once a week the bed linen was changed and thoroughly cleaned. The staff were very friendly. Amelia responded to every request very quickly

We really loved our stay here! The condo is very comfortable and has everything you need to cook. The pool was nice and the condo is an easy walk into town. Only downside was there was no washer like posted in the listing. Luckily the host arranged for the cleaning lady to do our laundry. Other than that everything was excellent.

It is a nice and calm quiet place, no noise from cars, dogs, rooster etc. Some guest played music at the pool but not so long time. Small less good was the daylight in in the appartment.

Amelia is a top notch host! I think i would be hard pressed to find better! We are so well taken care of here, and love the community, that it would be challenging to leave. Amelia has an incredible couple that take care of the property, and anything that we need taken care of or fixed, gets taken care of. Walter and Sonya are kind locals that make staying in Nicaragua a place where we could never leave!

Amelia’s place was a a beautiful location that gave you the feel of the beautiful mountains of Nicaragua along with having the beach just 5 mins from your doorstep. My family and I felt relaxed and happy with Amelia’s place and definitely want to come back in the future! We would recommend Millie’s place to anyone who is planning to spend time in San Juan Del Sur!

We really enjoyed our stay at Millie's Place. Close enough to town but out of the way in the jungle. I think the house, community and experience was better than I expected. Great energy. A firm 10 out of 10, and a desire to return. Really comfy beds, big kitchen, perfect house for up to 4 people I would say. The house is in a wonderful setting with parrots, monkeys, jays and squirrels regular visitors. I even saw a toucan really close up, and lots of dogs around which we love. The local family who are the caretakers are just adorable. It's best if you have a vehicle.

Me and my girlfriend loved our weekend that was spent at Amelias place. Pretty much located in the center on Granada. Neighborhood felt safe. No complaints.

Location is very quiet, but still close enough to the town center that it’s convenient. The complex itself featured friendly residents and a nice pool. Apartment was well kept, and Amelia was willing to send the housekeeper whenever it was requested. The air conditioning is definitely nice to have in the Granada heat, especially at night. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

It was a unique and wonderful experience. The house has everything you need to have a great stay. I loved the Jacuzzi, the lighting, access to the pool, in the place you feel an incredible tranquility. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we didn't want to leave. Anyway... the place is highly recommended. Everything in excellent condition and good condition, kitchen, refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave and more ... everything was very useful to us. Great spot to stay in Granada. We had fun connecting with residents wintering from Ireland, the US, and Canada. We also enjoyed the Cafe de Jardin (gardencafegranada.com) just a few blocks down the street. Great Nicaraguan dinner And breakfast! Guests make sure to use and keep emptying the dehumidifier Amelia has provided. The king bed is very comfortable and we recommend Amelia's place to other Granada travelers.

Amelia's was a great place to spend the final two days of our Nicaragua trip. She had everything we needed. Hot water and AC were a real plus and the comfortable King Size bed was a treat. We didn't have time to use the pool, but it looked very clean and well maintained. The condo seemed very secure and was a short walk to the bustling central park and restaurants. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks Amelia!

Amelia's place in Granada is a gem. The outdoor pool inside the complex is wonderful for a quick dip and the unit itself feels a bit luxurious and comfortable at the same time. Other highlights included the hot water for showering and the well-equipped bedroom. I would gladly stay at Amelia's place again on a future visit to Granada. It is located well with respect to some of the sites in the centro while getting you out of the mix. There is a security guard onsite, as well. The only thing that could use some attention is the state of the cooking supplies in the kitchen - they could stand to be updated. Otherwise, everything was splendid. Be sure to contact the host for the code for the strong box available inside the unit.

Amelia is unbelievably helpful and friendly. The condo was a perfect place for visiting Granada. Extremely comfortable, clean and central, without being too close to loud nightlife. The pool in the common area was squeaky clean and quiet. The other tenants in the complex were also friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place, and would stay here again.

Very nice 1 bedroom condominium with air condition and swimming pool. Near city cemter (10-15 min walk) and close to grocery stores. Has everything you need for a prolonged stay. Highly recommended!

My husband and I spent a couple of nights at Amelie's place and LOVED it. She was so helpful in providing us tons of information about transportation from Managua and to SJDS. Her apartment was very well kept up and she had a ton of "extra" touches that shows she really puts a lot of effort into being a great host. She was so accommodating around our check in/check out times and we just really appreciated her prompt responses to any questions/comments we had. I would highly recommend this location and this host!

I loved Amelia's apartment! An average walking distance of 10 minutes to main restaurants / markets and Central Park. The pool was very appreciated after a hot day. Very quiet, no noise at night. The neighbors are very friendly, we made friends during our stay.

Great view on top of a mountain side surrounded by lush rainforest. You can see the ocean from here. Nice patio on roof with outstanding 360 view, and new hot tub. The room is new, modern and very clean. Amelia and her staff are excellent.

The description does not make this place justice, it is so much lovelier than you could hope for. And the hospitality of Amelia is world class. We truly enjoyed our holiday retreat to the lush mountains just outside of SJDS.

It is a great place for family gathering and vacations! Exquisite hospitality from Millie, out TV rattle as though the speaker we blown and I notified her and immediately she switched it! Town is not at walking distance! Beautiful place! Will definitely would have to give it another try!
