This is a gem of a find in the AirBnB world. The house is nestled in a historically relevant part of San Jose, and feels private and safe, which is not always characteristic of an urban setting. The house is well appointed, well maintained, and offers a unique location in which to explore or do business in the city. Despite its location, the house is quiet at night and there isn't much traffic (pedestrian or cars) on the street at all. Again, not true of many barrios in San Jose! Restaurants, parks, shops and local tiendas are all within easy walking distance. A great experience, to say the least. The host was extremely responsive, and this was a seamless experience in terms of communication. Parking is just in front of the house, and there are ample spaces available (morning and night.) San Jose has a great app called ePark which is dead simple to use, affordable, and secure. Parking

A highly recommended place in Nosara to go with family or friends. The facilities are amazing, but what we appreciate the most was the service we received. Both Kendra and the girl who works with her were extremely kind and were always attentive to us. We had a small problem and the response from both was immediate, responsible and with incredible ethics. You can tell when a host really cares about their guests having a good experience. 🔅

I can’t say enough good about our stay at Kendra’s place. The views from the balcony are stunning, and only get better throughout the day into sunset. The beds were sooooo comfortable and everything was exactly as depicted in the photos. You are in the rainforest, and some of the home is open so beware you might find some sticky geckos on the ceiling or other little friends but they really weren’t a bother for us 😊 Kendra was so helpful both before and during our trip, even texting us to let us know about the arribada (sea turtle nesting) and hook us up with someone who could take us to see them the next day. Her recommendations were all fantastic, and she was so responsive when we had questions throughout our trip. We can’t wait to come back for another visit to Nosara (can’t say enough about the town, shopping, beaches, and yoga!) and for a stay at Kendra’s place. 5/5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Kendra’s house is a lovely private spot tucked away in a secluded neighborhood with great sea and sunset views. It has a beautiful pool area and plenty of space - all the bedrooms and bathrooms are large and there’s plenty of indoor and outdoor communal space.

What a special place! The architecture is just stunning. The view of the ocean and mountains is lovely! The top floor is such a nice space with all the doors open. We had a group of monkeys hang out in a tree for a long time close to the house. Loved the location, but you will need a golf cart or something to get around. Would absolutely stay here again! The pool was amazing and a great design. The beds are super comfy! Great time all around. Couldn't be happier!

Nosara and Kendra's home were both amazing. Kendra was so responsive and helpful in planning our trip! The pictures don't do this house justice! The views are incredible, the house is clean, beds are cozy, pool is the perfect temperature and the neighborhood is gorgeous. I hope to return in the future. Kendra’s place is great. Amazing ocean views, pool, and a wonderful house in the middle of the beautiful Costa Rican jungle. Nosara and the surrounding areas are amazing!

Great apartment for two to four people. Very good layout, nice that coffee and sugar were provided. Good large kitchen and small kitchen as a plus. Nice beds, better lighting than in most places. For us, the location was great, but it is a busy city urban area with moderate traffic on the adjoining street. Still, it is very quiet in two of the rooms, and the front room is to my early filled with the wonderful sounds of a real Central America neighborhood. Communication with Kendra was flawless.

This was our second stay at Kendra's house, and we loved it as much as our first visit. The house is truly spectacular, and the view is breathtaking, especially at sunset! The house is as pictured with all the amenities as described. We have stayed in many Airbnb's around the world, and this is still one of our favorite and most memorable.

This is my second time to stay at Kendra‘s beautiful house. The house is amazing! My favorite thing about the house is how it’s nestled up in the hills with a beautiful panoramic view of the ocean and the mountain side, yet still only being a five minute drive to the beach. Kendra is an amazing host that is very responsive. She has a wonderful staff that will be there to assist with any question or need as soon as it comes up. I can’t suggest staying at one of Kendra’s properties enough. You won’t be disappointed!

Excellent location near downtown San Jose. The residence is located in a very busy area, but very walkable with lots to do once you’ve oriented yourself with the location. Highly recommended!

Stunning home in Las Huacas. We had a great experience and appreciated having a sanctuary within a sanctuary. Gorgeous sunset view, beautiful landscape and lots of wildlife. And truly beautiful home, with a great pool to escape the heat and relax.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful house! Perfect location, views for days, and everything was very clean and well appointed. Ydelsis and Diego were very kind and helpful, and communication with Kendra was top notch. We did have a little issue with water, but it was addressed appropriately. I would definitely recommend the Atrium House for your next trip to Nosara!

Such beautiful architecture… very elegant place. Their is a totally separate in-law suite that is not easy to realize by looking at the photos. Loved the half outdoor kitchen/garden… If using Uber, you need to understand that you put Limoncello Restaurant as your destination… we got lost for an hour one night by using the address on airbnb. Also need to understand that the shower takes awhile to warm up but it will get very hot, eventually… just. e patient. Pura Vida! For elderly, it’s a lovely place but be careful of the steps. up to the living room.

Enjoyed the space. 3 of us stayed there we were comfortable and Kendra was super easy to communicate with and very helpful. Great location. The rain was the only bummer but still had a great time.

Kendra and Rafael are amazing hosts! The property is beautiful, secure and they are available for any questions. Our daughter is studying here from the US and they were so welcoming and the property made my family feel so comfortable and at home. This was a perfect location to explore the downtown area, the university and the nearby restaurants. Theae hosts are also extremely kind and perfect ambassadors for the lovely country of Costa Rica. We are alalready planning a return trip.

We had an unforgettable stay at the stunning Atrium House! The views from the third-floor main living area are absolutely breathtaking, with 360-degree vistas of both the mountains and the ocean. The air-conditioned bedrooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, giving everyone plenty of room to relax. The massive balconies and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors opened up the entire living space, allowing us to enjoy the scenery and fresh air throughout the day. The pool area quickly became our favorite hangout spot, and the surround sound system in the house made it even more enjoyable. The gated driveway, covered parking, and overall peaceful environment provided an extra layer of comfort. This place is a true gem—highly recommended for anyone looking for a perfect blend of luxury and tranquility!

My wife and I hosted a very intimate personal development and healing retreat for 4 women. We needed a space felt safe and secure. That said - it was critical for us to partner with a very special, professional , and accommodating Airbnb host. We found that individual in Kendra and her team. Kendra was exceptionally responsive and attentive to our wants. We did experience a few hiccups over the course of our weeks stay, but Kendra “made things happen” with her attention to our needs. I highly recommend booking this property. Not only is the property exceptionally positioned in the beautiful and lively lush jungles of Nosara, but the interior amenities provide a perfect oasis of vacation comforts.

Atrium is a beautiful house. A bit of an architectural marvel, really. High in the actual jungle, complete with native inhabitants. Incredible views, great pool, super clean public and private spaces and best of all, 5 minutes by car to the beach. Great spot for a week with our family. Memorable indeed!

This was a conveniently located place for our trip. Clean, spacious, and comfortable. Recommend for a family or a group of friends traveling together. Before you arrive be sure to get very clear instructions and description of the house. We arrived at night and had to drive around for a while looking for the correct location.

Simply perfect! We stayed at Kendra’s place in Nosara for a few days and could not have found a better place to enjoy our vacation. The house is stunning, with magnificent architecture featuring large and spacious social areas, beautiful kitchens (2!), high-quality finishes, comfortable rooms with spectacular beds, clean bathrooms, a wonderful infinity pool, and much more. Additionally, the architecture allows for 360-degree views, all within a private and safe zone in Nosara. The house was pristine when we arrived and everything worked out just perfectly. Karen was wonderful too. She was always available and ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Karen made us feel at home, handling all aspects of the booking and any inquiries during our stay was always easy. Karen was always in touch to ensure we enjoyed our time at this incredible house. Our stay in Nosara just could not have been better. No doubts I’ll look forward to staying at Karen’s house again next time!

Note that buildings do not have house numbers on them. Kendra’s house is next the a tattoo parlor. We had a hard time finding the house the night we arrived.

The beautiful house speaks for itself but to experience it in person is truly special. The breeze that flows though the house along with the views on both sides, ocean on one and mountains on the other was breathtaking. There is a reason that neighborhood is considered the Beverly Hills of Nosara. It's far enough from the noise of town but a quick few minutes from it making it the perfect location for a peaceful but convenient stay. The pool was magnificent too. Ydelsi cooked us an amazing meal the first night after a long day of travel which was so nice. And Kendra is a super host for a reason. She was very invested in our stay, from activities to restaurants, she wanted us to experience it all and we did! She was super responsive and extremely helpful. Our stay wouldn't have been the same without her help. We loved Atrium House and know you will too!

Kendra was an excellent host and Ydelsi took very good care of us and the house. Location is very safe and have exceptional views of Guiones. The house is an open concept so have to be ok with that style but the bedrooms are very private and have nice air conditioning. Would definitely stay again with friends.

Definitely one of our favorite Airbnb stays ever. The place is phenomenally beautiful and spacious. We had so much fun in the pool, relaxing on the deck upstairs, and checking the surf while drinking our morning coffee. Plus, Kendra is literally the best host on Airbnb.

House is beautiful and the setting is beautiful surrounded by jungle with a view of the ocean. Tap into the apply play speakers and enjoy music and relax by the pool. There is a sanctuary next door where you can look at the houling monkeys which the kids loved. We were visited by 7-8 monkeys as well during the stay which was super cool. If you hear a lot of monkey commotion outside that’s normally the sign the group of monkeys is around. Close to kids camp and good resturants. There’s one adults only restaurant right up the hill from this house. Very safe location. Thank you for the hospitality!

Absolute Heaven!!! What a gorgeous, gorgeous property! One of the best I’ve stayed at - from the bottom floor to the top floor, everything was fabulous and beautiful. The pool area? I have no words. The surroundings? Being greeted each morning with howler monkeys, beautiful bird life - pura vida! Won’t ever forget in a hurry, that’s for sure.

TWENTY OUT OF TEN -- we wished we could've stayed a week or two longer. I mean just WOW. I celebrated my 30th birthday in this home with 7 of my best girlfriends and we were all in awe of this property. Even more than the stunning property though, we were in awe of Kendra. The only thing better than this fabulous Airbnb is the owner, Kendra. Kendra was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond in every way She had fabulous recommendations and was always prompt in her responses. She was always available for us and provided invaluable insight for experiences and recommendations in the area. The Airbnb was by far the best that we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many luxury Airbnb’s. The house, terraces and pool areas are absolutely stunning. The views over the Pacific Ocean are breathtaking. It is a chic, modern, open air insanely gorgeous house. Not only that but the beds are ridiculously comfortable. Everyone in our family marveled at this house and felt extremely comfortable there throughout our stay. Kendra felt like a best friend I’ve known for years and was absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend this Airbnb. The house is just outstanding - looks like the photos. The location is a short drive from the beach in a high end neighborhood near Playa Guiones. There are no immediate neighbors except for some friendly monkeys at the nature reserve next door, making it private and quiet. Daily housekeeping and pool service kept the place spotless and Kendra helped us out with booking private chefs both international and local, which made the trip even more relaxing. The house was definitely good value for the size, comfort level, architecture, views, amenities and service. 100% Hope to return.

Kendra’s place is everything you’ll want in Nosara. Stunning view, swimming pool, and home design. Close (short drive) to groceries, beach, dining and yoga studios. Safe neighborhood and you park within the home security gate.

No need to ponder this place, you can book with confidence. Our family had the best stay. Kendra was incredibly attentive and gave loads of wonderful recommendations. The cleaning ladies were so kind and delightful and the house was literally a work of art. If I could give ten stars I would!

Kendra's house was beyond anything we could have dreamed of: it is truly a hidden architectural gem in the lush vegetation on the heights of Nosara. Breathtaking 360 degree views from Pacific Ocean and jungle, amazing infinite pool, great amenities, very comfortable rooms we had a blast! Kendra helped "Taylor made" our stay making all restaurant reservations and helping us book unforgettable excursions tours; she was always reachable. We had the pleasure to have her nanny Elsa babysit our kids and cooking for us, delicious cuisine and delightful person. We will be back for sure!

The house is spectacular, very close to Playa Pelada which is my favorite. The view is beautiful from the third floor. Fabulous facilities. The super comfy beds. I don't have anything bad to say, everything was perfect.

The house is stunning, another level. Every detail was beautiful and well designed, from the common areas, to the rooms, the pool, the view... what a view!. We loved the every minute we spent there. Sunsets are especially magical seen from the top floor. The house is perfectly located, just an 8 minute drive to the beach and town. Plenty of wildlife around. Kendra was a great host, promptly answering all our questions and making sure we had a great experience. We look forward to coming back.

The Atrium house felt like our home away from home! All pictures are completely accurate and you will be surprised once you get there and see everything else that the house offers. Perfect place if you are travelling with your family or friends. The house is fully equiped, can accomodate large groups comfortably and offers different sorts of entretainment: pool/ grill/ pizza oven/ board games/ integrated sound system. Located only few minutes drive from “downtown” Nosara and beach (you may need a car/ atv) and surrounded by nature and native animals. Kendra is one of the best and kindest hosts I had on airbnb and was always available to help us. Make sure to read her Activity Guide since she shares some great tips there! I hope to be back to Nosara and to The Atrium house soon! Pura Vida!

This place is gorgeous. From every angle, it looks like it should be in an architectural magazine or an instagram influencer's feed. The location is perfect, a secure, private neighborhood on the hill about 2 minutes away from the town of Nosara, so you have the benefit of the cool breeze on the hill, peace and quiet of the neighborhood, and all of the close food and amenities of Nosara. There are monkeys in the tree nextdoor who never seemed to want to cross the fence from the wildlife reserve. The view is insane - better than the pictures. You can check the surf from your balcony. The beds are plush with nice sheets. Bath and beach towels are very comfortable. Everything is spotlessly clean. Indoor and outdoor kitchens with multiple cooktops, though you may have to bring your own ingredients depending on how much you would like to cook at home. The pool is lovely and cool. Kendra was also super responsive, and helped us with dinner reservations and surf instructors on a moment's notice. Thank you! Would definitely recommend, and we hope to come back to stay here again in the future!

Kendra’s house was our last stay of our two week vacation. I must say this place was a wonderful end to our vacation. The house was thoughtfully designed with great detail. We enjoyed waking up to the sounds of Costa Rica. Kendra was very responsive very helpful with recommendations during our stay…I highly recommended staying here.
