It's a safe place, which was very important for me, there are guards checking the area all day. It's close to the downtown, we went walking twice. The house is exactly like in the pictures. Kendra is a very nice houst. Highly recommend.

This is a gem of a find in the AirBnB world. The house is nestled in a historically relevant part of San Jose, and feels private and safe, which is not always characteristic of an urban setting. The house is well appointed, well maintained, and offers a unique location in which to explore or do business in the city. Despite its location, the house is quiet at night and there isn't much traffic (pedestrian or cars) on the street at all. Again, not true of many barrios in San Jose! Restaurants, parks, shops and local tiendas are all within easy walking distance. A great experience, to say the least. The host was extremely responsive, and this was a seamless experience in terms of communication. Parking is just in front of the house, and there are ample spaces available (morning and night.) San Jose has a great app called ePark which is dead simple to use, affordable, and secure. Parking

We stayed at Kendra's residence for a couple of nights and although the initial communication was very good, it deteriorated when I informed her of certain damages in the apartment. In short, we rented a place with a bathroom that did not flush, which was very uncomfortable because we had to use a pot to fill the tank. And with a damaged TV that was left there knowing that we were going to spend the night in that room and that someone wanted to watch TV, I think it's a lack of attention to detail to be an Airbnb host. Finally, Kendra gave us a partial refund for the previous issues. The good: self check-in and out, remodeled apartment, clean and nice, comfortable beds, with a location close to restaurants and museums, a safe neighborhood, and a friendly guard. The bad: a noisy neighborhood at night, the music from the clubs is loud until dawn. Some basic amenities mentioned in the list, such as shampoo and conditioner, salt and coffee, are not provided.

Great apartment for two to four people. Very good layout, nice that coffee and sugar were provided. Good large kitchen and small kitchen as a plus. Nice beds, better lighting than in most places. For us, the location was great, but it is a busy city urban area with moderate traffic on the adjoining street. Still, it is very quiet in two of the rooms, and the front room is to my early filled with the wonderful sounds of a real Central America neighborhood. Communication with Kendra was flawless.

Excellent location near downtown San Jose. The residence is located in a very busy area, but very walkable with lots to do once you’ve oriented yourself with the location. Highly recommended!

Such beautiful architecture… very elegant place. Their is a totally separate in-law suite that is not easy to realize by looking at the photos. Loved the half outdoor kitchen/garden… If using Uber, you need to understand that you put Limoncello Restaurant as your destination… we got lost for an hour one night by using the address on airbnb. Also need to understand that the shower takes awhile to warm up but it will get very hot, eventually… just. e patient. Pura Vida! For elderly, it’s a lovely place but be careful of the steps. up to the living room.

Enjoyed the space. 3 of us stayed there we were comfortable and Kendra was super easy to communicate with and very helpful. Great location. The rain was the only bummer but still had a great time.
