Luis is the nicest, most accommodating host you can have. He will do anything possible to help you out and make your experience as easy as possible. The apartment is exactly as described, and perfectly centrally located. Highly recommended!!

It was an exceptionally good stay. Luis took great care of us and found an excellent solution to a misunderstanding. It was clean and very quiet at night. Beautiful outdoor area with a table and hammocks. Washing machine available, which also worked out just fine. We would stay there again. It was great.

My husband and I spent 5 weeks at Trebolmar, and we truly enjoyed our stay. The unit is upstairs with a nice view of the garden, has a really great layout, the kitchen area with table and chairs is separate enough from the bedroom, so we could each have enough space. We greatly appreciated the lovely cleaner Dani for making our room smell so lovely twice a week, such a bonus! Having access to clean drinking water and a shared washing machine was very useful. My husband is a surfer, so the location was perfect for him to walk across the road and reach the waves at Playa Carmen in 5 minutes. And in general the location is one of the best in Santa Teresa, easy walking distance to supermarkets, cafes, spectacular sunsets, everything you need. The property has 8 units, and everyone staying there was friendly. Luis is an exceptional host, he definitely looks after the place and every detail, he was quick to respond to any questions and was always helpful. We look forward to returning :)

Very comfortable, with good amenities and a beautiful back yard. I stayed for a little over three weeks, so I greatly appreciated the pantry cabinet. Parking is easy and safe. Luis is both proactive and highly responsive; any question I sent was answered within the hour, and typically much faster. The desk is large and well-placed and the internet is consistently good, even in the midst of torrential rainstorms. There are lots of good restaurants in walking distance. Tours and vehicle rentals are easy to get to. The beach nearby isn't great for swimming, but I hear it's highly recommended for surfers, and it's also nice to walk along. The main road through Santa Teresa is busy and heavy on the exhaust fumes, but none of that reaches the apartment despite how close it is. I was able to see iguanas and agouti from the back yard. A friendly local cat also stops by frequently. Sunday brunch at Drift is great when it's available. Overall, a great place to stay and highly recommended.

I loved staying at Trebolmar. Great location, and gave me a wonderful community of people that turned out to be the best past of my stay in ST. Luis was hands down the kindest and most responsive host I've had through Airbnb. Will come back here when I return to ST!

Luis was a phenomenal host and the space is a wonderful little escape from the business of the main road/santa teresa town. This is my 4th winter coming to Santa Teresa and Luis's apartment was my favorite place I stayed. A small connected apartment building with a large fenced in yard with hammocks, a grill, outdoor showers for after surfing/beach time and they're a 2 minute walk from one of my favorite beach access points in Santa Teresa. It feels like a home. I'd recommend this place to anyone who wants a homey/relaxing place to stay while visiting santa teresa.

Amazing space, our room was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The cleaners are amazing, everything was spotless. The garden outside is awesome, we really enjoyed having breakfast out there, and hanging out at the end of the day. Just wish we had stayed here longer!

You can book Luis' place without fear! Thoughtful and kind host, great location, spacious and clean bedroom and bathroom. Since we only stayed 2 nights, we didn't cook, but the kitchen felt very complete. Thanks Luis!

We truly loved staying at Trebolmar for six weeks. Both my husband and I are working remotely, and this place is perfect. Great wifi, fully equipped kitchen, amazing garden with hammocks to chill out and people… Luis is a super friendly host. He gave us many local tips and useful information. He made us feel at home since day 1 - we truly appreciated this sense of comfort after a long travel from Europe. Luis’s Mum is great too - so kind and friendly; she showed us how to prepare a couple of authentic, local dishes, which was a great, unique experience. Luis and his Mum are some of the best hosts we’ve ever had on Airbnb! The location of the Airbnb is great - close to the main road, restaurants, and shops, and only 2 min walk to the beach, but it’s very quiet, so you can’t hear the bustle of the main street. While having breakfast in the garden, we could watch so many hummingbirds, colorful butterflies, and iguanas - a real paradise. I strongly recommend staying at Luis’s place!

I’ve been coming to Santa Teresa for years and this is the best place I’ve stayed. Great hosts, very friendly, responsive and helpful with anything you need. Fast internet, one block from the ocean, close to town/restaurants/supermarket. We stayed for over a month and the only regret was having to leave and not being able to take Goa with us. See you next year!

Great place and location. Luis’s place has wonderful little things that make your stay comfortable. An outside shower is critical. Laundry is perfect. Plenty of sitting. The internet was more spotty than expected but a lot of people were using it. Super helpful guy and staff.

The apartments are comfortable, very clean and well equipped . They are located near the beach. They are also friendly to the environment. I definitely enjoyed my stay very much.

A great place to stay. Perfect location for walking to the beach or walking to some of the best restaurants in town. Lots of private parking space available. The room was amazingly clean and had a great scent. The only trouble I had was the WiFi they assigned me never worked. I used the one for someone else's room. I did not see the host in person but he sent some surfing lesson recommendations on request by text. Only was there 1 night but perfect for exploring Santa Theresa.

Idealy located, clean, safe. I had a great time at Luis' property! It was the perfect spot to spend a month to work and surf in Santa Teresa. Well sheltered from the cacophony of the main street while being close to everything, especially from the beautiful beach of Playa Carmen which is only 5 minutes walk away. The appartment is well maintained and a cleaning service is avaible as much as you want. It is also very pleasant to cook as the kitchen is well equipped with many appliances, all clean and in great conditions. Another highlight is the high speed internet which was reliable and available over the whole property. Luis and his family are great hosts! They are communicative, genuine and they do everything possible to make you feel like home. Highly recommended!

This place was fantastic! For people who want to work remote, this place is perfect. The internet is indeed very strong and consistent. The location was terrific for surfing, and the kitchen was well equipped for the length of my stay. Luis and his fellow hosts were very helpful and always available. Luis’ place is perfect for remote workers while in Santa Teresa. Quiet atmosphere and very fast internet! Luis was very attentive, quick to respond, and very communicative throughout my stay. Another plus is there’s a washing machine on-site which makes things even more convenient. You’re close to beach access, groceries and restaurants are nearby. Highly recommend!

I loved my stay here! Luis and the staff are amazing and so helpful, accommodating, and caring. You can’t get a better location, right across the street from the beach and so close to restaurants and stores. The ATVs on the main road are loud, but I never heard them once from the apartment. I’m working remote 40+ hours a week and the wifi was amazing and super fast. The power goes out in Santa Teresa every now and then, and Luis had a backup router to use incase that happened. Seriously can’t recommend this place enough!

We had a really lovely stay with Luis he was such a nice guy. Super helpful with organizing our trip and had a lot of recommendations. The apartment was very well equipped especially the kitchen had everything you need. The garden area is really beautiful with a lot of nice flowers and hummingbirds and hammocks. There’s even a washing machine you can use. Would definitely recommend to stay there!

I stayed at Trebolmar for two weeks while working remotely and I could not recommend it more. The Internet was excellent for my video calls to the US, the apartment was kept spic and span with regular cleaning, and I could walk to the beach in 5 minutes (the sunsets were amazing). What truly made my stay special was Luis and Omar, who were excellent hosts. They take the time to speak to all the guests, understand their interests, and give thoughtful recommendations on things to do and how to get around (no Ubers in this neck of the woods). Luis even set me up with a surf instructor! The personalized recommendations let me maximize my time in Santa Teresa when I wasn’t working, instead of spending my time doing research. I highly recommend this place for anyone who needs a quiet, reliable place to work and wants to make the most of their location.

Perfect place to stay in Santa Teresa! We really enjoyed our stay at Luis's place! The apartment is super nice, well equipped and is only a few meters away from the beach, restaurants and shopping. The garden with a common area is also great and invites you to linger. Luis and the whole staff are very warm and helpful! The room was cleaned every two days and always decorated with loving details. What we also enjoyed very much is that Luis is very much concerned for sustainability. This way, the garbage is separated and composted and there's even a drinking water dispenser to reduce plastic bottle. We highly recommend this place and would be happy to come back!

Trebolmar was just the perfect place to stay at. Location is very convenient as it’s super close to the main road, beaches, supermarkets and restaurants. Our apartment was well equipped, nice decoration and super clean. I would stay here again.

Trebolmar's apartments have all the essentials to enjoy a vacation or work, as it has a very good internet connection! We really liked that the room was clean and they always kept it like this during the days we were there! Luis is an excellent host, he welcomed us and gave us details we should know about the place and shared locations of beaches and places we could visit. The apartments have a very good location, close to supermarkets, restaurants and the beach, and from there you can move to other places, such as Montezuma or Manzanillo. A special mention that they are committed to nature, through the treatment of their guests' waste! Without a doubt, I recommend Trebolmar as an excellent option when visiting Santa Teresa.

I had an amazing experience staying here. My partner and I worked remotely and it had everything we needed (good wifi, desk in the bedroom, kitchen table, and outdoor spaces too). The daily cleaning was very nice touch and Luis and the other workers were all very kind. It’s also a great location a bit further back from the road so there was minimal noise at night. 100% would recommend if are looking to be close to the beach/surf and walking distance to all the restaurants. We will definitely be back someday!

The apartments are a little community and everyone wants to go out of their way for you. Set a little away from Santa Teresa's main Street, Trebolmar offers tranquil respite. Would 100% recommend.

If we could give more than 5-stars we would! Location (in the heart of everything), yet quiet and peaceful gardens, co-working space, and no noise for sleeping. Clean and well taken care of. Luis and his family authentically care for everyone's well being, and care for their beautiful property, hence everything is kept super clean, functioning, accessible, and feels and is very safe. Luis is extremely responsive and an incredible communicator. This special gem, also attracts likeminded people. Where you have your full privacy if you would like it, or ability to socialize with international travellers and NOMADS. Walking within minutes to the beach, restaurants, shops, what ever you need. If we could keep it a secret we selfishly would, as it is a diamond in the rough. Can't wait to be back!

Great location and place

I chose to stay at this place for 3 weeks, which half of the time I was working remotely, and I can say this is a great place for workcations. Internet connection was good, comfortable spaces in the backyard to either sit and focus or have calls without bothering others or being bothered. All the beautiful birds and small animals makes you company while you work are definitely a plus. The appartment is fully equipped, and I honestly felt at home in Santa Teresa. Place is cleaned twice a week and everything is thoughtfully put in place for you. The host is always available for you in case you need something and it's a super nice guy. The best host I've ever had! The place is very well located, with a bunch of nice restaurants, groceries and close to the beach. Overall, I'm very glad that I decided to be there!

I stayed at Trebolmar for 4 weeks, and it was perfect for working remotely, surfing, and going to the beach. It was quiet and tucked away from the loud main road. Hammocks and the garden on the property were a great place to unwind in the evening. Great wifi (video calls worked well), location is close to eateries and 2 grocery stores. Its also very very close to the beach, about a 2-3 minute walk. Its a 15-20 minute walk to Santa Teresa. Luis is a great host as well, he’s very responsive, and even helped me get a pair of shoes repaired!

This was the coolest AirBnB and trip I’ve ever done in my life. Fortune favors the bold. Luis was the most accommodating and probably the nicest Airbnb host I’ve ever stayed with. I’m single and it was perfect for WFH. I loved how the kitchen had everything you’d need to make really quality meals. The internet was fast, they have security cameras, and everyone that works with Luis around the apartments is essentially family or people they have known for a really long time, so your things are definitely safe. I had a few different friends come over and hang out and all of them were extremely jealous compared to the hostels they were staying in. Santa Teresa is also the trendiest place I’ve ever been in my life. The surf was amazing, big during winter though.

Fantastic location, very close to the best restaurants in town. Luis is extremely friendly and does everything to make your stay pleasant. One of the friendliest hosts we‘ve come across. The outside area is beautiful and always tidy and clean. Cleaning staff in general does a great job.

This place is fantastic! With fast wifi, a good working space, air con, and a fully equipped kitchen, it's perfect for remote workers. Luis was incredibly friendly and gave so much good advice about the area – he even chopped down fresh coconuts for us from the property's beautiful garden area! The location is also great – 2 minute walk to the beach, and there are 4 incredible restaurants within a 5 minute walk. One of the biggest perks was the super thorough and professional cleaning service 2 times per week. I recommend this place 1000%!

Everything is very good, the apartment is very clean, comfortable. Very central a few steps from downtown Playa Carmen, a well-stocked grocery store, and access to the beach very close by. The kitchen is well equipped to prepare food. Strict cleaning to comply with anti-covic protocols. Luis is very friendly, always attentive.

Luis’s place is great for short or long stays, it’s got a great location and the apartment is well equipped, the common areas are great too. Definitely coming back to Santa Teresa and to Luis’s place. Very recommended!

We loved our stay with Luis, couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable, clean, and well-maintained space. The room has everything we needed, including full kitchen and bathroom, and much-needed AC. There’s private parking space and the location is a bit away off main road so there’s no street noise. It’s also well-isolated from neighbors so there’s no noise to disturb sleep. We ended up going to bed around 10pm and waking up naturally with sunlight.

Simply everything you need to feel comfortable, excellent service in everything, with a good dose of organization for whatever you go (walk, work, party or rest) for being so central to the beach and town! Thank you Luis for everything!

Luis and his mother are very welcoming hosts ! They welcomed us with fresh coconut and a little introduction of the city. The appartement is lovely, clean and well equipped ! The place is also very close to the beach ! I would recommend it !

Luis and his mom Yanira were extraordinary hosts. We felt like family. Upon arrival Lewis helped us with our bags and then sat down for an orientation to the area of Santa Teresa giving us inside information on beaches and restaurants and things to do. Luis and his mother were there every day tending to the property and the guests. They were very kind to us. His mom had fresh flowers in our room every day. She helped my wife cook some beans overnight and brought her favorite seasonings to share. We had a few minor problems and Lewis resolved them the same day!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Luis’s place and would certainly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay around Santa Teresa. It’s very clean and comfortable and has all you’d need for a relaxing visit to the area. There’s a kitchen stocked with the cookware and utensils so you can cook some meals if desired. The bedroom is comfortably sized with a queen bed, outlet, AC and a TV. The bathroom is also very nice and clean. The listing is very close to multiple supermarkets, Sodas, and other restaurants. There are multiple beautiful beaches within a 3-5 min walk and felt like a perfect distance away from the dust and traffic of the main road but still extremely convenient to anything you’d need. Luis was probably the best Airbnb host I’ve had. He was easy to contact prior to our arrival and when we got there after a long journey he met us with some cold coconuts while he walked us through what we needed to know about the town, including some food and beach recommendations, locations of the bus stops and the phone numbers of some local taxis (we didn’t have a rental car). He was also very accessible for any of our questions or concerns during the stay. On our way out, he let us keep our bags on the property after check out so we could enjoy the town a bit more before we had to catch the bus back to San Jose. That was a very nice touch that he did not have to do. The listing is one of a few on his property that is surrounded by pretty vegetation, has an outdoor shower to rinse off beach sand, hammocks and a couple board games. It felt very safe and comfortable.
