We had an absolutely wonderful stay at El Peñón in Colombia and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The house was beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly set up for families. A special thank you to the lady in charge of the house, who was incredibly attentive, friendly, and always willing to help. Her care and hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. There was also so much for the kids to do. They loved spending time in the pool, playing volleyball, ping pong, and pool, which kept them entertained throughout our stay. It was the perfect combination of relaxation for the adults and fun activities for the children. We truly loved our time at El Peñón and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable family getaway. We can't wait to come back!

We had a wonderful time with our family. The house is very spacious and comfortable. Most importantly, the air conditioning works perfectly, which made our stay even better. The best part of everything was Ampara’s attention and hospitality she is truly the biggest plus of this place. She made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for families looking to relax and spend quality time together. Just keep in mind that the check-in process at the entrance-security gate can take a little while if several people are arriving, but that also shows how secure the property is. There is also a supermarket very close by, which was super convenient. Overall, we highly recommend this place!

Great place for a vacation

We had a wonderful few days. Diego is very friendly, he was attentive to us at all times and made us feel at home. The place is comfortable, clean and perfect for resting. We would come back without thinking about it.

The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos: very clean, large, with an excellent ocean view and fully equipped. The only thing to note is that building staff usually close common areas, such as the pool and gym, before the scheduled time (8 pm, as we were informed), probably to be able to finish their shifts a little earlier.

This was one of the best air bnbs I’ve ever stayed at. The location was perfect and the size of the apartment was just what we needed. The building was luxury and the pool was gorgeous!! I would absolutely love to stay here again!

If staying near the beach in Cartegena, this is a wonderful place to say! To start, the overall security of the place was top-notch, and Diego was always responsive with feedback when needed. We spent a considerable amount of time on the balcony overlooking the ocean, including taking advantage of the hammock provided. I wish we had more time to spend in the common areas, namely the amazing pool at the top of the building. If ever in Cartegena again, this is definitely a place we would stay again!!

We had a great stay! The place was comfortable, spacious, and had everything we needed. The amenities were excellent—TVs in every bedroom, a well-stocked kitchen, and direct access to the beach made it even better. We weren’t missing a thing. I’ll definitely be looking to stay here again on my next trip.

Beautiful spacious apartment with everything we needed for this vacation in Cartagena. Comfortable beds, a bathroom in every room, excellent layout. And equipped with everything that could be offered to us. Beachfront, with a rooftop pool, and amenities. We had a very good time. Diego was very helpful and gave us local recommendations. Always attentive.

The apartment was magnificent, we spent 6 incredible days in Cartagena, very comfortable, clean and just as it appears in the photos. We hired the services of Mrs. Etilza and delicious cuisine, highly recommended. Diego is always attentive and very kind, thank you.

Place was great, everything that Diego described. Very responsive to messages. Only thing I didn't like is the strict building policies on visitors. Did not let us bring visitors to the apartment. But Diego tried his best to accommodate, unfortunately building manager refused. Other than that it was a great location.

The apartment is quite spacious and comfortable. The view from the balcony is unbeatable, as well as from the pool located on the terrace, where you can spend sunsets as a family. We really liked the direct access to the beach, although there was a great presence of vendors. Recommended for stays as a family or with groups of friends.

Very Clean and beautiful views. Girls loved they could just yell over the balcony and get hooked up horse back riding. Roof top pool was very nice. Great for a larger group.

We loved the place, a super spacious apartment, very well equipped and with a beautiful view, in addition Mrs. Etilza prepared a delicious lunch and was very kind to my whole family. ( Super recommended if you want to try typical Cartagena foods).

This condo was great for our group of 8. Spacious , inviting and the veranda a must and used every evening. Miss Etilza was on site to welcome us. She is an amazing cook and we hired her skills for an amazing supper for all of us. I strongly recommend having her cook for you , it was an amazing culinary experience we will never forget!! We recommend this spacious apartment and would come back again.

The apartment was wonderful. Everything was working. Balcony was big. Plenty of kitchen items. Big fridge. Big tvs. Cold A/C. Very clean. We used the washer and dryer and worked fine. Big size. The 3 elevators were fast. Going to and from the beach was easy. There was a big stairway that had to be used. All the staff was kind and helpful. We utilized Etilza for 1 cleaning and 2 days of cooking. She was amazing. Very detailed cleaning. We had her prepare 2 brunches and 1 dinner. Those meals were highlights of our trip along side the incredible restaurants in the walled city. My favorite meal of hers was the special lobster, shrimp, coconut rice, salad and plantains. We highly recommend using her if you decide to stay here.

Our stay at Diego's apartment in Morros was great. I honestly would not really say anything needed to be improved upon. The location on the beach was excellent, there isn't much in the way of amenities without a taxi ride, but that is what we were looking for. If you haven't been to Cartagena be warned that the beach closes at sunset, something which may come as a shock if you have never been. This is a city bylaw though and has nothing to do with Diego who did warn us of this ahead of time. The only awkward thing is being asked to pay for bracelets to use the facilities of the building. This felt extremely strange and awkward to say the least. In the end Diego offered to simply cover the costs and left it at that, so he handled it very well. (The amount wasn't a lot but it felt off and not as per Airbnb's rules and regulations)

went with my family and my sister's family (10 in total). The apartment was spacious with enough bathrooms for everybody. The beach was very accessible and the old town was only at a 15 minutes drive. Mrs. Etilsa is a must to make it an excellent experience. We will like to come back and enjoy more all the amenities Cartagena and their people have to offer.

Amazing stay at Diego's place! The location, the beautiful views and the the building amenities like rooftop pool and fitness center are only the beginnings to why this place is five stars. We traveled with our family that includes four children and everybody had enough room to spread out and enjoy themselves. I highly recommend Diego's place and would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Cartagena.

The minute you walk into the apartment, the panoramic view of the ocean catches your eye. It’s beautiful. The apartment itself was comfortable and fit all of our needs. The kids really enjoyed the pool and splash pad on the top floor. The area is safe, quiet and the people at the front desk were always friendly and helpful.

For the people who read me I want to say the following: the apartment is much better and incredible than what you see in the photos, the security of the building I loved, the privacy, there are security staff throughout the building, the attention of the staff. We went in a car and they lend you a cart to store all your bags and so put them up more easily by the elevator, that is a plus and help a lot and not have to go down to the cart so many times because of your things. The lady who gives you the keys to the apartment is very kind and the apartment is really extremely clean. The towels available on site are very helpful and also have two ice makers that you can use to get down to the beach and a speaker to listen to your music. I highly recommend this place, it is quiet, if you go to the beach you are not going to find vendors docking to sell you things, there is none of that, on the beach there is a very respectful gentleman who offers you food and expects you to call him.

The house is spectacular, spacious, pleasant! The pool area is lovely and the water is heated. We have to recognize that if something made the difference, it was Amparo's help. She took care of us, cooked and immediately resolved any concerns. A spectacular place for a family plan with children.

However, it is alleged from the tourist area of the city, so it is very residential and can not make a lot of noise; then it is designed more for a family.
