We loved our stay in Tamarindo! The house was spacious and well laid out. The pool was a great - perfect for our kids to play in and for us all to cool off. AC was great in the bedrooms and ceiling fans kept the outdoor patio/pool/living area breezy. We heard Howler Monkeys from the house at night/in the AM and saw lizards, frogs and a neighbor cat :) Walkable to everything in town, super close to a market and ATM; and a few more steps to all the restaurants and shops and the beach.

The pool was the best! A very homey atmosphere for a family weekend. Thank you for all!

We booked this place for our time in Tamarindo and it did not disappoint. The pool was such a nice luxury! It's about a 5 mi walk to tons of shops/restaurants and coffee, about 10 mins to the beach. Some of the forests on the walk were where we saw the most monkeys of our whole time in Costa Rica. We loved this spot and it worked great for our group.

Really enjoyed my stay at Casa Colonial. The team was quick with communication and very informative. I definitely utilized the pool every chance I got, was able to watch TV and relax in the pool. Perfect distance from Tamarindo, close enough to walk, but far enough that you’re not in the mix. 5 minute walk to a beach, 5 minute walk to a small supermarket, and 2 very close restaurants. Only down side was the room with the twin beds, it was very moist and could use a dehumidifier in there. All in all, I would stay again.

This was such a fun house. It would be great for kids as the pool is right in the middle and easy to cook dinner while they swim. The host was very responsive and helped with any questions. Close to town but just far enough to get out of the busy area. Rent a golf cart and you will be great. Our host set up transportation from the airport and provided all the necessary information. It rained the entire time so we will be back to visit

The villa was a unique style, the pool was great and with lots of floaties and supplies. Located a short walk away from a lovely local beach. The kitchen had all the necessary supplies, and the coffee and wine was a nice welcome. There were lots of bugs but we were warned about this so it was expected. The three bedrooms were spacious, however the beds and floors were quite creaky. Joost was communicative and helpful with suggestions on restaurants and activities. Highly recommend to groups of friends or family.

Hands down the best customer experience I have had at an Airbnb. One of the shower heads was broken and within 2 hours, all 3 shower heads in the house were replaced! The house was beautiful and the location was perfect! We will Definity be going back to stay here!

The house was amazing. Located in a great area that was very walkable to the town and beach. Having a private poole was a game changer and the house made the trip so much better. Very awesome design and highly recommend.

This place was perfect for our family with two small kids. The pool was great to have. The rooms were big, clean, nice AC units each. We could walk everywhere we needed. Close to all amenities. I would stay here again!

This space was a dream come true. It was spacious, peaceful, yet located within minutes of shops, restaurants and the beach! The private pool was amazing and the open air kitchen was so incredible, especially at night! The hosts were incredible and the sweet, friendly manager even brought a pineapple, wine and coffee for us! I will definitely rent this space again!

My husband and I stayed here for a week and loved it from check-in to check-out. The weather was very hot so I was afraid the open area would be too hot but it wasn't. Being able to see the moon and stars from inside was magical. The pool was absolutely heavenly. We loved that we were able to walk to so many excellent restaurants. we walked to the midnight market (very close) on Thursday and it was great. I highly recommend making a reservation at the Dragonfly restaurant because it's great. Again it is in easy walking distance. Little Lucha, right around the block, was delicious. I would recommend this AirBNB to anyone and everyone. Thanks for such a wonderful vacation!

The property is beautiful and conveniently located away from the noisy main roads, while communication is clear and helpful. Would definitely recommend for a group traveling to Tamarindo.

Great Airbnb! The pool was the focal point of the house and was amazing! Each bedroom had their own bathroom and AC!!! Walkable to the beach and all of the restaurants in Tamarindo! Don’t leave any open food or the ants will take over! Easy lesson learned! Beds were just okay but clean. Biggest gripe is about all three shower heads! They need to be replaced or cleaned throughly! However, this minor setback wouldn’t stop us from renting again! Loved this place!
