I had booked the Ocean view family suite with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. When we got to the property we were given a much smaller 1+1 studio for 3 persons. Their argument was that after the booking was updated from 1 guest (per my original booking) to 3 guests, that suite was no longer available. (Note here that the change made through the app was accepted by Javier). Some arguments ensued with the family, Javier not making himself available to discuss, where the family attempted to thrust the blame on us for making a change. Bottom line is I paid for one listing in full and was offered a completely different and sub-par room in return. I called airbnb and had them cancel the reservation and issue a full refund to me. It was evening time after a long day of traveling and we had to find a hotel at short notice in the area as well as finding an alternative airbnb stay for the rest of our vacation which was a major inconvenience. Do not book this property.

Wonderful place! My family and I love the space! Amazing and comforting days! The beach view is amazing. The place is extremely clean and Javier always responded quickly to messages! His mother( Rocio) received us and was extremely kind, offered us a spinning bike to use on the local balcony! I highly recommend the location!

excellent place, with breathtaking views. The best place in Quepos. The only detail is the path that has a lot of loose stone and is a little hard to climb.

We had an excellent stay! Very close to beautiful places like Manuel antonio and with good restaurants in its surroundings, also the connection to nature was incredible. We'll definitely be back 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A very beautiful house, the spectacular view, the exact house in the description, they attended us wonderfully, certainly 100% recommended, we had a great time with the family, access is not so complicated, but if I recommend a tall car, although not exactly double, my car is tall but simple and had no problem

Beautiful view from the top deck where our place was. We didn’t realize it had multiple units but it was quiet. Main room doesn’t have a/c but it goes in from a bedroom with a fan. We cooked often and it stayed cool. Thank you!! Hope to be back again to beautiful Costa Rica!

If you want an Airbnb that’s considered high standard, this is definitely the one! Location, view and overall experience couldn’t be any better for a first trip to Quepos! The wildlife pop up at all times of the day! You couldn’t say after your visit you didn’t encounter some form of wildlife nearby. Javier is very communicative in terms of requests and information about the area, including Manuel Antonio! I highly recommend if renting a vehicle, to have a 4x4 vehicle as some parts going up and downhill proved quite strenuous for some taxi drivers we requested.

Wonderful view from atop the hill. Nice balcony and private. Javier and Michelle were gracious and responsive hosts. The common areas can be quite warm however all of the rooms have A/C. Keeping the A/C on and leaving the doors open will generally cool off the living room. The A/C in one bedroom was out of order the first night we stayed but Javier was quick to get it fixed for our second night and was very responsive. The place has good bones and some of the amenities can be improved and updated. Some additional cleaning would also be helpful.

Perched high above Quepos on a hillside with beautiful views of the ocean, treetops and town. Great birdwatching and sunset, 4x4 recommended, the road is a bit rough getting up there. The apartment is large, clean and spacious. However, only the bedrooms have A/C, which do not cool off the kitchen and living room area well. Upon our arrival non of the units were on so it was extremely hot. Also, on our stay one of the A/C units was not working, they did provide two oscillating fans, which helped. I don’t think we would stay here again.
