The place worked well for us. Close to town and cloud forest reserves. They were very helpful in setting up tours for us. The “cabins” were more like apartments with two units per townhouse (upstairs and downstairs) and four units side by side. It may be a translation issue. The kitchen was adequate but minimal. All in all, an incredible view, very clean with helpful staff.

Monteverde Reserve was literally next door! Beautiful surroundings. Our only issue was little hot water upon our arrival. Apparently the tank didn’t fill up??? We had to wait it out so that all three of us could shower. The toaster was broken and it was replaced the next day. There are a bunch of steps so b prepared to haul your luggage down to the house and back up again. Although the property is located on 12 acres, there r no trails directly from the house - just jungle.
