I wasn't able to stay in Matthew's place, as my son and I got sick before our trip and had to cancel, but a friend of mine was able to go to his place. Matthew was very communicative and responsive, and went above and beyond before our stay to get us a crib. He swapped out the check-in information so my friend was able to check-in seamlessly. Some elements that others may want to know when booking the place that my friend communicated to me: The view is mostly of Costco and parking lots, with the arch in the very far distance. While close-ish to the water, the beach is not walkable (there is a walled off highway that you are unable to cross). The place had a musty smell and the hot tub was dirty and not working properly. The grass tennis court in the pictures doesn't exist anymore. The bath towels were old with holes. Upon arrival, there was general grime everywhere (remnant food on dishes, a half smoked cigar in a kitchen drawer, used old wet coffee grounds in the coffee machine).

Definitely an excellent accommodation, it totally matches what the photographs show, a quiet location with supermarkets where you will find everything within walking distance, it has everything for an unforgettable stay, Matthew is always very attentive to my family and personally we would love to return
