Vacation Nosara

My family and I stayed at Casa Saltamontes for an entire month. The house is clean, large, and perfect for our family of four. We each had our own space, and there were multiple common places—both indoor and outdoor—to gather and spend time together, including the pool deck, which was amazing to have after surfing, fitness classes, or walks on the beach. What makes this stay so special is the location near Playa Pelada, the peacefulness of the neighborhood, and the friendly howler monkey neighbors hanging out in the trees. It’s also close to great local spots for morning pastries and juice at Isa’s or patacones on the beach at La Cochera. Nosara Vacations was an amazing concierge—responsive, proactive, and communicative. They kept the property looking great and feeling like home so we could truly relax. This was our third time in Costa Rica and our best stay yet!

Was a great stay. Loved the privacy and it was a perfect walk to the beach. Would stay here again!

We had a wonderful family stay in Nosara, loved the house and the beach proximity with several surf schools close by. The pool was nice to refresh and relax, 10 from 10 points our boys said and would have loved to stay even longer in „our“ villa. Thanks for everything, pura vida!!

I have so much to say about this place. First, it made our whole trip. Having this place to call home recalibrated us in the best possible way each day. The 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms gave our family of 5 all the space we needed. Massive sliding doors off the upper master bedroom and the kitchen make you feel fully submerged in the surreal surroundings. The view might be my favourite part of this place, and of the trip. It’s everything you want to feel in Costa Rica, howler monkey sounds included. I loved waking up here at 5 a.m., opening the sliders, and just listening to the unique sounds. Initially, it felt like we were in Jurassic Park! Despite the warnings, it was still hard to comprehend that these monkeys can let out such dinosaur-like calls. In our 6 days here, we had monkeys visit us one afternoon. It was magical.

This is a beautiful home a few blocks from Playa Pelada with all the amenities. There are numerous restaurants in the immediate area, as well as a local surf shop for board rentals. Playa Pelada is gorgeous, and a short walk from Playa Guiones. My only negative critique is that renters pinned Playa Pelada - the actual beach - as the home’s location, so I did think it would be closer to the beach when renting. The house is a few blocks from the beach, and I felt this was not clear from the listing. The roads in Playa Pelada are TERRIBLE - chocked full of potholes and craters - but this is true for much of Costa Rica so I suppose it goes with the territory! The home is lovely and we enjoyed our stay.

Lovely place! The garden in particular was very special, right between the trees and the beautiful swimming pool. In the morning, we were awakened by a concert from the birds and/or the monkeys. You have to take that into account, but we thought that - despite it being early - was very special! Comfortable beds and everything you need is available. Within driving distance, there are many nice, delicious restaurants, and the beach is within walking distance (5-10 min).

Our boys and I just returned to Costa Rica, and this stay exceeded every expectation. We loved every minute of it. The recommendations for restaurants, beaches, and excursions were spot on and helped us experience the area like locals. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked, which made it easy to enjoy breakfasts and several family meals at the house between adventures. What truly set this stay apart was the outstanding property management. Communication was prompt, welcoming, and incredibly helpful from the moment we booked until we checked out. They provided great transportation guidance, helped coordinate experiences, and were always quick to respond to any questions. We felt safe, well cared for, and confident knowing someone was just a message away. Traveling with a 16-year-old and a 10-year-old, it’s not always easy to find a place that works well for everyone, but this home was perfect for our family. We made unforgettable memories here and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again

Usually the pictures look better than the real place. In this case the real place was better than the pics! We had such a great time. The pool was great go kids, the walk to the beach was unbeatable, hosts were responsive. I want to come back!

Casa Calma villa is fantastic. Perfectly private, big luxurious and excellently equipped. ( every kitchen utensil possible & more towels etc than a whole family can use) The very good Restaurant La Luna is easily walkable as is a great sunset beach and a few shops. The wonderful Guiones Beach (shade surf safe swimming white sand) is just a 5 min drive as are the best range of shops & bars.

great place. looked just like the photos. we visited with two boys, 14 and 11. we could not keep them out of the pool!! they loved it. plenty of outside seating under the trees to relax. even had the privilege of waking up one morning to the howler monkey's. the home was very private. plenty of parking. large amount of kitchen utensils and a blender & coffee maker that worked perfect. short walk to the beach, however we drove as we had a somewhat heavy cooler. loved how there is plenty of parking at the beach. never had an issue. May visit, the town was a very short drive, not a bad walk if you wanted to do it. plenty of restaurants to choose from. boys fell in love with Burrito Amor. Bodhi tree is right next to the house. they have a gym, yoga smoothie bar etc.. if working out is also on your list. the host is AMAZING with their response time when i had a question. one minor issue when we first arrived, they had someone over within 15 minutes who fixed it! EXCELLENT. We will be back!

Awesome little place. We loved our stay there. It’s in a nice spot that’s quiet but you can still get around easy. Quick walk to the river or beach. The place is really private. The plunge pool is in a good spot where it gets sunlight. You will want some type of transportation (quad etc.) if you want to get to more places. We did walk from the place all the way to guiones and it’s not a bad walk if you go down the beach. We would def stay there again.

A good place to stay if you're looking for something practical an convenient. Its walkable to the beach and restaurants in the area with fantastic staff who take good care of the property. Happy to recommend

We have been to Nosara numerous times, and absolutely loved our stay at this house with our two children (9 and 11). There was plenty of space for the four of us- we loved that the primary suite had good privacy at the end of the house, while still being on the same floor as the kids. Everyone enjoyed the pool, and the kitchen was very well stocked with quality cookware- the espresso machine was particularly appreciated! Communication with the hosts was easy, and the home's security was excellent. The house is in easy walking distance to the beach and several restaurants and convenience shops, but is still quiet and peaceful- except for the monkeys, of which we saw many! We loved everything about the house and location, and are already dreaming of a return.

We loved this property! We especially liked the upstairs beautiful balcony for coffee in the morning, the big nice pool where our kids spent hours every afternoon and the kitchen is fully stocked with just about any utensil you could possibly need. It is also very close to the Bodhi tree resort, as in less than a five minute walk. If you like yoga or spin, they have options all day long and I was able to take a couple of classes. Also, the spa is great at Bodhi and less than a five minute walk from the house. And by car the house is super close to grocery stores, shopping and the main area for surf lessons, shopping, dining, etc.

We loved our stay at Las Palmeras! The location in Garza is idyllic, a little ways away from the busy parts of Nosara, but still accessible to go back and forth to Guiones. We’d recommend renting a car to really enjoy the area. The nearby beach is gorgeous and uncrowded. We felt like we almost had it to ourselves. The house could easily fit a large group comfortably. The pool and outdoor setup, were especially great for the kids. And we saw lots of monkeys in the mango trees on the property! The hosts were responsive and the house was well equipped for our stay.

We charm

We spent 2 nights at this property and we found it very convenient and relaxing. The concierge group was very helpful, friendly and responsive to our requests. We would easily rent from them again; however we would not sta again at this house as we all found the sofas in the living room extremely uncomfortable. This is enough of a reason for us to book a different house when we go back to Nosara in near future. Nevertheless, the neighborhood is great with many local restaurants, grocery store and even gallery. Playa Pelada is beautiful but not great for swimming due to strong currents. Overall we had a great time at this place.

My family had a fantastic stay at Casa Girasol. The kitchen amenities were good and the pool / grill area was great. Location near both the beach and Bodhi Tree was a big plus. And the vacation mgmt team was incredibly responsive. Pura Vida

Loved this house so much we came back again!! Direct access to the beach from the backyard. House is spacious with plenty of rooms. Highly recommend! The team is amazing at assisting in setting up whatever services you’re interested in very quickly! I can’t say enough about the staff! 5stars!!

Loved the place including the awesome pool that was the best during the mid day heat. It was shady and the temp was perfect. Hector the door guard was super helpful and the complex was perfect. The condo itself needs a few things for the kitchen and to update their dishwasher and pressure in the shower but overall it is a great place to stay. Would recommend it.

The house has natural light and quiet AC units in every room! The pool is ideal for a quick cool-off dip. The alarm and front gate provide peace of mind. (Note: the front gate is heavy to push/pull open and closed for some.) We’ve rented several properties over the years in Nosara, and this was the best appointed we’ve experienced. From spices and cooking oil in the kitchen, to plenty of fluffy towels and a first aid kit in the bathroom, Casa del Pez had everything we could possibly need during a stay. It’s the little attention to details that distinguishes this property from many — laundry baskets, laundry soap, dish soap, extra garbage bags, etc. While these incidentals may seem insignificant, they make the day-to-day easy and reflect the thoughtfulness of the hosts.

This place was amazing. Traveled with two kiddos. Felt extremely safe. Track blockers, locks and alarm system. Even the neighborhood in general felt safe. Pool was heavenly and well maintained. House was fully stocked. Beach towels galore! Even came with lots of gecko friends. Not much around Playa Pelada, which makes it lovely and peaceful. What restaurants are around were wonderful (hello sunrise coffee, we miss you). Host provided tons of material on local area and things around. Playa pelada is a short walk. Enjoyed morning walks to guiones. Even the kids made the trek. Would love to come back here!

Nosara is pure magic, and this studio was a huge part of that experience. As a solo traveler, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The staff went above and beyond always kind, welcoming, and ready to help with anything I needed. By the end of my stay, I didn’t feel like a guest, I felt like family. I’m already dreaming about coming back.

Great stay with a heavenly setup, but a bit of attention to interior quality was lacking. Either the quality of the kitchen cabinets, which don't close, or the toilet, which regularly gets clogged despite following the instructions not to flush toilet paper.

Wonderfull stay, we enjoyed the pool very nice a big , fairly private and close to pelada beach and to many restaurants. The house has everything you needed . Location is great and the communication was stellar. Really enjoyed their concierge service . Kitchen fully stocked. Sofa was terrible please change ! Also would be nice to have a couple beach toys ei boggy board , ball, noodle etc . Thanks for the nice stay

We had a great stay at Casa del Pez. Perfect size for us (2 adults, 3 kids). Location is close enough to restaurants, shops, and beach but with plenty of privacy and quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay was great… The place was beautiful and super functional. They had everything we could need for the kitchen. Tons of linens, which was really helpful for the dusty season. Settling in after arriving from a long day of travel was of delayed, as they were still cleaning when we arrived at check in. They noted it had been a busy day and so we waited while they finished. Outside of that minor inconvenience, the place was very impressive and had great energy! We would definitely book again!

Great house. The kitchen is really well stocked so easy to prepare your own meals. Rooms are large and comfortable. The pool and outdoor area is great, shaded by trees. We saw monkeys in the tree tops twice. Beach is walkable. The only hickup was checking in. There's no signal in the area, so I couldn't get internet or call, so make sure you have the access codes saved on your phone. Also, there are two houses next to each other, and from childhood children checkin instructions it's not so obvious which one is yours. We also had no instructions for opening the front gate from the inside to park the car and struggled with it. But the host is super responsive, so that was sorted quickly. Other than that, I'd definitely go back

Really great spot! 15 minute walk to the beach. Great views. The staff that managed the air b n b responded so quickly if there were any minor issues. Amazing place to stay!

Our stay at Casa de Calma was magical!! What a tranquil and relaxing spot. We walked to the beach every morning (either Playa Pelada or the quick walk to Guiones) for a swim and spent the afternoons by the pool relaxing on the shaded patio. The house had everything we needed! Also, I really appreciated the alarm system and ability to lock the doors with security bars. I felt quite safe! Our family truly enjoyed this beautiful area and will definitely return.

Our family spent a week in Nosara and really enjoyed staying at Casa Girasol. Comfortable and spacious, with a well-stocked kitchen, and lovely pool deck. It’s a little close to the neighboring houses, but still felt private.

This place was fabulous. Quiet and the host was amazing. We definitely want to go back.

I had an excellent stay at Playa Pelada. The property is immaculate and extremely well organized. The kitchen was pristine and fully equipped, the towels were thick and high-quality, and the entire apartment was very comfortable and thoughtfully prepared. The single-lane swimming pool is beautiful and well maintained, and the whole property feels clean, secure, and peaceful. The hosts were attentive and professional, and all instructions were clear and easy to follow. The staff around the property were also very kind and welcoming. The location is another big plus — only about 700 meters from the beach, making it an easy and pleasant walk to Playa Pelada. Overall, this was an excellent experience, and I would absolutely stay here again. — Michael

We enjoyed almost three beautiful weeks in Condo Del Sol! Everything was as described in the description and vacations Nosara was helpful throughout our trip. Will definitely book through them again.

We liked the service very much in general, the apartments are small but for a couple, the space is well distributed, The only point that we did not like very much was the check-in time, which is until 4 pm. For us, who were looking forward to arriving after such a long trip, we had to see where to wait. Overall recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing home. We took a davantage of going to the ocean and using the pool everyday!!! The home was in pristine condition. When I pointed out a few things that could be fixed for the next guest, they immediately sent a handy man. We also took advantage of the concierge service and booked a horseback riding tour and surfing lessons. Both experiences were a 10 out of 10!!!! The location as great. Quite a few restaurants around! And playa Guiones was a very short drive away with plenty more restaurants. Overall very happy and we would absolutely come back.

Great place for my wife and I traveling with adult kids. We took the upstairs, they came and hung out but they could go and come as they pleased without us knowing.

Over all great experience. The house is easy. The pros : - Big house, one floor, well located close to the beach and the school, where our kids went. -Big kitchen / living area with everything + nice big round table / Couch area. - Little gym space always nice. - Good maintenance / communication with the agency in charge of it The cons : - Pool is small but cool, but totally in the shade so a little cold. And more important: the pool is on the back of the house, you can like it (or not). - A little noisy at night with monkeys (some houses have more isolation - The view from the kitchen/living space is not amazing, it would have been better to have the view on the back jungle (pool side).

Second time staying here and already planning my return in 2027. It’s everything you need for a relaxing stay. Great layout - quiet space and bedrooms upstairs, spacious common area downstairs….and of course THE POOL and desk are where we spend most of our time. The beds are comfortable, bedding as clean and high quality, individual AC in the main area and in each bedroom so everyone is comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need - great grocery store nearby so made smoothies every day, cooked most of our dinners there. Neighbourhood is away from the bustle of town but feels safe. Would be awkward to not have your own vehicle - there are tuk tuks to rent but we didn’t need to use them There’s a fabulous beach within easy walking distance, great for a high-tide swim and watching the sunset.

Super host – always available and you always had a safe feeling. The place was totally clean and very well maintained. We especially liked the grill, with which you could really enjoy the jungle feeling. The location is also great, very close to a beautiful beach. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime!

Great place!

The house is amazing! Perfectly located 15-20 min walk from the beach or 5 min by car! It's really clean, brand new, it feels like home! The team is very nice and responds quickly. The amenities are top-notch, the washing machine is brand new, we enjoyed being able to wash our clothes during our road trip! :) Regarding the small points to improve: the chairs in our garden were really rusty, I didn't dare to sit on them! And it's really missing a clothesline and a hairdryer!

This was a very nice spot close to everything. The only complaint is that the pool was not in the sun and the Jacuzzi otherwise it was great!

Very happy with Casa Elliot and the concierge team. Delivered the ATVs, groceries ready, well communicated. Really liked the home, tons of light and great for families. The concierge was super helpful booking reservations and being responsive. Power went out during strong winds one night, but besides that, a perfect stay.

This house was perfect for our family of five. Clean, comfortable, modern-feel, cool swimming pool and excellent location. On the first morning one of the AC units broke. The hosts responded immediately, and an entirely new unit was installed within the day. Playa Pelada is much more tranquil than Guiones for those looking for less people and a more local feel. Would definitely recommend this house!

Absolutely stunning home, very close to beach and beautiful restaurant Luna. Also very close to Giones with many nice shops and restaurants. Very helpful and responsive host - whenever something came up the responded quickly. Nice to have many towels and possibility to wash clothes since the roads are very dusty.

Beautiful home—perfect for large families! The layout was great for our family of 7 (kids 15-20). We loved the pool, bar, and grill. Huge plus: excellent showers stocked with soaps/shampoos! Location: 1/2 mile walk to the beach for sunrises & fishing boat meetups. We caught so much fish we shared it with our fisherman and a local friend! It’s a 10-min drive to Nosara for surfing and the BEST sunsets. With 7 people and 1 car, the logistics were a juggle but manageable. Tips: Vacation Nosara was amazing with airport transfers and car rentals. Get a 4WD—the roads are rough! It’s a 1-mile walk to the store/restaurants. TukTuks from the store to Nosara are $15-20. We hoped for better snorkeling, but that may have been our timing. Overall, a great home for a large group!

My stay at Pelada Studios was spectacular. Highly recommended. Everything flowed in an incredible way from the start. The girl from Vacation Nosara was very friendly and helpful from the first moment of our stay. Upon arrival, it was super easy to check in: the information sent through the app made the whole process much easier. A 10 for communication. The apartment is just as seen in the photos: super clean, cozy and very functional. Just what we needed. Our stay at Casa Marea was absolutely incredible. I have staying in Guiones many times and this is by far the nicest house and location. I will definitely be recommending this house to friends.

I highly recommend this Airbnb. The place was super clean, very well maintained, and perfectly located close to restaurants and the beach. Francesca was amazing, extremely responsive, helpful, and supportive throughout the stay. She answered all my questions quickly and even shared great restaurant recommendations and local suggestions, which made the experience even better. Condo del sol was a great home away from home for a week. The beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed and was within walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beach.

Having the concierge service was incredibly helpful. It was raining a lot during our stay in Nosara and they helped us to quickly book a golf cart and made sure all the arrangements were done quickly. They also let us leave our bags at the place while they cleaned and got it ready for us which was very nice as well. Would definitely stay again!!

Super clean and modern, loved the quite nature surrounding. The beach for watching the beautiful sunsets at Playa Pelada just a stroll away. Otherwise so much fun to ride an ATV around. My teenage daughter and I felt right at home and safe there! We stayed for a month and would have loved to extend!

We had an amazing time staying here. The top floor is stunning—the kitchen and balcony are absolutely gorgeous. However, the first floor could use some improvement. Given the price we paid, we expected the entire house to be at the same standard as the top floor, but the lower level wasn’t as well designed or finished. Additionally, none of the rooms have blinds, which affected our privacy. We were sent a video explaining how to open the kitchen door, but the lock appears to be broken. It consistently took us about five minutes to lock or unlock it, and even the staff member who assisted us at check-in struggled with it.

We really enjoyed our stay! The property is gorgeous and had everything we needed to feel at home. Nosara is such a stunning little piece of paradise we have zero doubt we will return!

The location is incredible and walkable to many restaurants and of course to the beach! The living room is very spacious and they let you drive your car in and park 10 feet from your front door. I would totally stay here again!

Just a gorgeous place to stay! It had everything we needed and the company running the property was extremely helpful and had many local suggestions. Watch out for the potholes on the roads in the area!

Amazing house with everything exactly as described ! No bad surprises ! Great maintenance of the property as well. Vacation Nosara were very reactive to all our requests / questions. Great suggestions as well. It was beyond our expectations honestly. The chef they recommended was amazing and worth every penny ! Make sure you have a great car though because the condition of the road to get there is impressive ! (Although we were there in rainy season maybe slightly worse than usual !) This is standard Costa Rica and not their fault !

We loved our stay in this magical space! The setting amongst the jungle allowed us to see many animals and the rain on the roof at nights was such a treat to fall asleep too. The space was clean, and just what our family needed during our trip to make a few meals and catch up on laundry. The check in process was great as we were greeted by the cleaning staff when we arrived who helped us with our luggage and walked us through what we needed to know to have a great stay.

We have been completely satisfied with Nosara Vacation. The property is very quiet in the forest and close to a quiet beach. It was very clean and cozy, we found everything we needed. Communication with the host was flawless and straightforward!
