We loved our stay at this beautiful home. The host was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. The pool and balcony views were amazing. Highly recommend this property if you are planning a trip to Santa Teresa!

Impeccable accommodation! Clean, modern, and functional. The view is breathtaking, and the location is quite far from the city, making it very quiet. For a family with two children, we couldn't have asked for more; the pool temperature is excellent. The sunsets are beautiful. It's impossible to describe everything Special mention for Omari, who is just perfect. I definitely recommend this place.

Perfect place for privacy. Air conditioning throughout the apartment and a grill on the terrace next to the pool. The entire unit was clean, including the pool, grill, and interior. 100% recommended.

An incredible view that can be enjoyed from every corner of the house.

The photos are great but it’s nothing like seeing and experiencing this home in person. Stunning inside and out. Perfect for our family during our 8 day stay. The daily cleaning service was also very convenient Omri was so helpful and responsive. He helped us book ATVs, transportation and all kinds of activities. Would recommend this home 100%.

This was the best Airbnb I could have imagined. I've stayed in many different places in Santa Teresa before and will stay here again any chance I get. It's a quick 10 minute drive into town but such a gift to be up the hill in peaceful and quiet paradise away from all the activity below. I felt very safe knowing we were in a gated community and spent so much time soaking in the stunning view. My favorite part were the hawks soaring at eye level all around me. The stars at night were also stunning. The place is very spacious and luxurious and the pool overlooking the ocean is the cherry on top. The bedrooms were huge and comfortable, with gorgeous showers (also with that view!) and cleaning service included every day. And the A/C works super well to keep the place cool, which is a must but not always a given for a place of this size in Costa Rica! The host gave me privacy but was responsive and available for anything I needed. Don't hesitate to book this one of a kind home in paradise!

Just Amazing

The villa is as described, it has a magnificent sea view. The night is worth a look too, it feels like sleeping in the stars. The evening and night are very quiet. Omri, the co-host was very proactive, he responded almost in the next second! The villa was very clean upon arrival. The road to get there requires a 4X4, but it is also the reality of Costa Rica if you travel on the roads, some roads require a 4X4. The road is not very far, restaurants and the city. I highly recommend it.

A very nice house with a spectacular view, with everything you need to spend a weekend away, if necessary a 4x4 vehicle as indicated in the ad for some parts of the road, the house is highly recommended and Nahime was super nice to us! He helped us with early access to make the most of the house, in short, 100% recommended!

Definitely one of the best places I've ever stayed at. The manager's service and follow-up were amazing. The space is beautiful, very clean and exactly as shown in the photos. The location is perfect and the communication with the host was great. I felt so good and so comfortable that I can't wait to go back. The house is just as shown in the photos: impeccable, well kept and in excellent condition. It has an amazing view that really adds to the experience, and is very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Everything was clean and tidy, and it's clear that the cleaning service helps keep it that way. Communication was very easy and always friendly; they responded quickly every time we had a question. A very pleasant experience in every respect.

The place is fantastic, clean and good pool to have fun with kids. The views are breathtaking, enjoyed the mornings and evenings views. Having said that, the path/road to get the apartment was challenging for us, not paved and not pleasant to drive on however, it is worth it.

This was my second time at this Airbnb, and the location and views never disappoint. Just make sure you have a 4x4 and you are good to go. Clean space and outdoor living area is phenomenal

Happy with my stay!!

A Vibe All its Own: Super fun, super clean, kept simple. A spacious place with a lovely veranda and pool. The maid staff will even do your laundry, which is pretty cool. If you have a 4 wheel drive, or rent a side by side, all the better, but a taxi service can get you right into the hot spots in Santa Teresa pretty quickly. It's a place that is up in the hills, and would seem, on paper, to be isolated. But it has its own liveliness to it. It's so simple and stress free... and your brain doesn't worry about a thing there. You can just "BE". I've been to Santa Teresa before, and there is the party part of town. I wouldn't stay closer to the action. Closer to town, vacationers on a budget pack into small spaces and you can sense the wear and tear they leave behind. At Mercedes place, you feel like you're the only one who has ever been there. It's a special, private feeling of being right at home, to just "Be YOU." I'd go back to Mercedes' Place, without any hesitation.

House was amazing!!! The scenery was beautiful and the house and pool were spotless. I felt very safe with the area being gated and having Juan there to help when we needed. We couldn’t have had a better host! He made sure we had everything we needed and was always very responsive! I’d definitely stay there again!

We had an absolutely amazing stay that exceeded all our expectations. The view was breathtaking, offering us stunning panoramas every day. One of the highlights of our trip was watching monkeys from the deck—an experience that felt truly magical. The host was phenomenal, always responsive and attentive, which made us feel incredibly safe and well-cared for. While there were a couple of minor points to note, such as the shower not having hot water and you definitely need an ATV to get around (the host was able to provide us with one), these were easily overshadowed by the wonderful positives. Overall, it was a fantastic experience that we would highly recommend.

The view and the pool are fantastic and this home is so nice and spacious with tons of natural light. We rented an ATV to get around town and it was really convenient for getting back up the hill to the airbnb. The place is remote enough that you'll be able to see and hear howler monkeys, birds, and insects. We really enjoyed the stay and would recommend!

First, Omri and Aviv were awesome to talk to. They are super helpful and always willing to answer any questions you might have. The drive up to the house is very rugged so definitely have a SUV that is 4x4 or all wheel drive. We were glad we had a car instead of an ATV as it can be very dusty on the way up. The drive up is worth the views!

Casa Colina was very comfortable and the hosts were very communicative. They offered housekeeping which was much appreciated. As they mention in the description, a 4x4 vehicle is definitely needed to scale the long, steep, dirt road to the top of the bluff where the house sits. Once there, the breeze and the views are fantastic. We were there during the dry season and the road dust was evident in the pool area but it wasn’t too bad because of their efforts to wash it down.

We highly recommend. We indulged in the view both day and night, enjoyed and relaxed in the gorgeous home, and appreciated the outstanding service. Come prepared with a 4x4.

This place was awesome. It’s located on top of a small mountain in a gated community. It takes about 5 minutes to get to town on an ATV. The road is very steep and rocky but it’s fun to drive up on the ATV. The concierge provides housekeeping and laundry services, which was nice. The only problem we encountered was the power going out a few times, which I think can happen all over Santa Teresa. The view from the place is really nice. You can see and hear the waves crashing. Book it!

This villa is truly amazing! The stunning views from the mountain top, overlooking Santa Teresa and the coastline, are awe-inspiring and even better than the photos. The infinity pool gave us a refreshing escape while enjoying the breathtaking panoramic views. The outdoor seating area was perfect for sipping morning coffee and enjoying evening cocktails while soaking in the natural beauty that surrounds the villa. The villa was impeccably clean with beautiful decor. We rented a 4x4 SUV and after going up and down the hill two times got very comfortable with the windy, dirt roads. Be prepared to get dirty if you rent an atv in high season. Definitely recommend the SUV vs atv. Omri and his team provided excellent service, being highly accommodating and responsive. Great WiFi signal too. We highly recommend staying here!

There are few times in our traveling career, where we have felt that a property truly embodies what it means to vacation to an area. This villa is exactly that. The property is so incredibly beautiful. It’s safe behind a gate, the view is almost spiritual from the balcony. There are enough towels, kitchen had everything we needed, and the WiFi worked excellent from day one. You WILL need an ATV or side by side to get up the mountain. Once you go the route a few times it’s second nature and you’re in town in roughly 10 minutes from the peak. These hosts genuinely want you to have an amazing time, and go out of their way. Will we be back? Yes. Without question, yes.

Excellent to escape a little of the buzz of Santa Teresa. Private and with an incredible service (fast and good). Recommended for those who are enthusiasts of time lapses nocturnos. The entrance occupies 4x4 to climb the mountain, and can be a bit far from the beach, but recommended for adventurers.

Awesome place ! The outdoor patio with lots of furniture, swimming pool, BBQ and incredible view of the sunset helped make our trip memorable. Also includes excellent daily cleaning and laundry service. Although only 1km to Main Street, it’s not possible to walk because of hills and dirt road but I would still highly recommend and would go back.

Avi , Omri , Romi were all collectively such great hosts !!! They were all very responsive to every question we had from list of restaurants to excursions to local Villa nightlife. The place was phenomenal, the ocean view every morning and evening was breathtaking . Definitely need a 4 x 4 or ATV to come up and down mountain but not too far from the Main Street and town of Santa Teresa .  Santa Teresa is one of my favorite towns in Costa Rica, I highly recommend this place and will be coming back again ! Pura Vida !!!!!!

This place was amazing ! Mercedes was so quick to respond after we were in a pickle from another rental. She responded within minutes and had this place ready for us in the next 15, it was a complete brand new build so was not yet rented and that worked out for us ! They even had a baby crib, baby bath and high chair already there for us and set up because I mentioned I had my 18 month old daughter with us. Omri and the team were so lovely and so friendly. I can’t recommend this place enough. The view is also something I won’t be able to ever top. Views from every room. We planned to spend more time in Santa Teresa exploring but couldn’t leave the pool or the view. Only thing to note - the pool doesn’t have stairs or a ladder (yet?) so something to be mindful of, it’s stand-able but getting out may be hard for some. Overall, the best air bnb I have rented with the best views ! Highly recommend

The area is huge on ATVs so make sure to rent on and enjoy the pool, sun, and beach here. The house was very clean and even had daily cleaning service. I highly recommend anyone to book this if they are thinking of coming to Santa Teresa.

We had a great stay at Casa Colina! The photos were very accurate. Clean and comfortable with everything we needed. You can have daily cleaning, but we opted for every other day. They even did our laundry for us. The pool was amazing and outdoor space beautiful. We spent each morning with our coffee outside listening to and watching the birds. Took the days to explore all the nearby beaches with lunch out and then back to the casa to cook dinner and watch the spectacular sunsets. The road to the casa is seriously steep, but we got used to it. Just make sure you have a 4x4. Honestly, it was fun and a bit of an adventure. We took a fun day trip to Tortuga Island and had great lunches at Banana Bar, Blue Mist and Rocamar. Favorite swimming beach was Playa Hermosa. Loved Santa Teresa. Town is busy with lots to do and Casa Colina was peaceful and just far enough away from everything. Check in/check out was easy with great communication!

Beautiful accommodation, cleaning done daily, air conditioning, great view, 4x4 needed, but it was named by the host when we booked. Surf enthusiast or not, the area is beautiful.

This house was perfect for our stay. We enjoyed the pool and views daily, and it was a nice place to work from during the week. It’s a trek up the hill so be sure to have an atv or 4x4. Overall fantastic place!

Mercedes and her team were wonderful hosts. They were quick to respond to every request and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The house is comfortable and spacious with a well-appointed kitchen. The pool area is clean and peaceful with a spectacular view—especially at sunset!

This house is gorgeous! The view is definitely the selling point of the house - make sure to bring binoculars too! The pool, kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were great as well. We are half American, half Costarrican and thought the reviews could be exaggerated about the hill, but I have to agree. This hill definitely requires a 4x4 car, not because of the steep but because its gravel road and you have to cross over a river with the car. Also, on the way to get to the airbnb there’s no signal so make sure you clarify location instructions before you get there. The local girl will send you a map so make sure you follow it to get to the right place. Aside from that, 10/10 would recommend and come back for sure!

We had an unbelievably great time at this Airbnb. The space itself is idyllic - the floor to ceiling windows all opening up out towards the pool. The pool and the decking looking down the hill over the jungle and out to the ocean. It was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. As stated, the 4x4 is really a requirement - this is some heavy duty off-roading. Along the coastal road, there loads of great cafe's and restaurants. All in all, it was the perfect place. We'll hopefully be back one day!

Very nice place. An indispensable 4X4, the road seems practically impossible to me by car. However, it's just so much. You are in the center of Santa Teresa, the mountain is beautiful and the panoramic view is unparalleled. Very good communication with the host and her partners . I think it's good value for money. My stay and that of my family was quite pleasant. I don't recommend the place for older adults or some kind of musculoskeletal limitation. The ascent and descent to the place on the 4x4 is a bit rough.

Very nice house with its private pool. Everything was very clean and tidy. I would definitely come back. The streets of that area, with so much tourism and commercial premises, I don't understand how they are in that state. Otherwise excellent 👌

This place was perfect. Definitely need a 4WD car to get up the hill but the view and sunset are worth it. Everything was easy and Amanda, the house concierge, was on top of everything and made the trip and planning super easy.

Mercedes’ place is gorgeous, the view alone is worth it. Definitely need an ATV as it’s a decent and steep drive from the main strip. The property manager was very responsive when we had brief issues with the electric stove and water cutting out, someone was sent to fix the issues right away. Watching the sunset from the pool was amazing. Wifi was reliable as well.

Had an incredible week at Casa Colina, brought a few of my friends from the US to come visit and I couldn't have taken them to a better spot. Great location, clean house, Mercedes was always there for anything and really helpful. Not to mention I also brought a few of my friends over that are locals in Santa Tere to come check out the view one day and they said that is the best view they've ever seen from from Santa Tere. Not much else you can say after that, will definitely be coming back!

First of all, the view is every bit as incredible as in the pictures. The house is comfortable, well equipped, and a short 4wd drive (best on an ATV) from the heart of Santa Teresa. Far enough away that you can't hear the noise from the town, but close enough to the water that you can hear the surf crashing up through the valley. Would happily stay there again.

Could not be happier with our stay. It may be the best AirBnb experience I’ve had. The property is gorgeous and with an amazing view (we were even able to watch whales from the backyard poolside). The home has all the appliances you need to be comfortable and the team that manages the property is incredible. Communication is top-notch and service is fantastic. Getting to the house itself is no joke though - when they tell you to have a 4x4 (and with good tire tread), that’s not a recommendation, it’s a must. Try to do the drive for the first time in the daylight. We arrived after dark during raining and it was quite the experience. Absolutely worth the steep backroad trek though to get to that overlook view. Book this place!

By far the best Airbnb I have stayed at. The house is cosy and beautiful, but more important it is extremely equipped and the customer service of Amanda and Sofia is outstanding. I will return for sure.

While the road up to the villa can be a bit challenging to navigate (you will need a 4x4), it is totally worth it. The view is breathtaking and we enjoyed listening to the sounds of the waves crashing as well as the animals in the forest. The villa is located in a gated community so we felt safe during our stay and enjoyed the peace and quiet away from the main road. The villa is very well maintained with daily cleaning provided. Amanda, the concierge, is extremely responsive and was very helpful in providing suggestions for tours, restaurants, etc. We would definitely stay here again.

We had the most wonderful stay in Mercedes' home. The views were even better than shown in the photos and we enjoyed many mornings and evenings outdoors around the pool taking in the views. Communication from the start was first rate, check in was easy and the property had everything we needed. Cleaning was also included which was a bonus. As others have said, the drive up the hill is a challenge, but we came to enjoy the adventure up and down each time. You definitely need a 4 wheel drive. We would not hesitate to book this home on future trips to Santa Teresa.

A peaceful hillside retreat from busy and beautiful Santa Teresa! The first time driving, the hill was intimidating but after that it was easy! Sunset views are awesome and the concierge was super helpful!

We had a great stay at Casa Colina! The outdoor space is incredible between the pool, deck, lounge sofa, grill, shower, and dining table. We loved grilling and eating meals while watching the sunset over the ocean (the views are even better than the photos suggest). It's hard to beat that. The space inside is sleek and modern. AC's work great and the cleaning crew does a wonderful job each day keeping the space clean and tidy (including washing your clothes)! The concierge Amanda was absolutely wonderful to communicate with and is the icing on the cake. She is so responsive and really helped make our stay the most comfortable by arranging a taxi from (and back to) Tambor airport, ATV's waiting for us at the house for when we arrived, an early check-in, and more. Amanda has a solution for everything you throw at her. Thank you, Amanda!

Incredible mountain top Casa!! I don’t know which was more amazing: the private infinity pool overlooking the ocean, or the FABULOUS concierge, Amanda. The Casa is modern, clean, spacious, and has everything you might need to enjoy a stay in Santa Teresa (and did I mention the private pool overlooking the ocean?!). Comfortable beds, nice showers, great outdoor spaces to watch the birds and monkeys in the trees. As many reviews mention, the road to get to the house is an adventure in itself- you will not make it up unless you have a 4x4 or ATV and some gusto (okay, a LOT of gusto). I’ve traveled all over the world and driven up lots of mountains- this road takes the adventure cake! But by the time we left, we loved our 10 minute adventure ATV ride into town and back. Amanda went above and beyond for us: from having an ATV delivered to our doorstep, to coordinating covid tests, to always immediately having the answers for everything- she makes booking this Villa worth it. The cleaning and laundry services included in the stay were the cherry on top. As long as you’re in for a bit of adventure, don’t hesitate to book this Airbnb- we will definitely be back! Absolutely stunning view, especially for the sunset. In the morning you can hear some monkeys. You definitely need a 4WD to get up to the villa. The villa is well equipped and cozy. The pool is nice.

Our stay at casa colina was amazing! The view and outdoor space were so nice, we basically stayed outside next to the pool the entire time we were there. Amanda was incredibly helpful and sweet :)

Casa Colina was everything I wanted and more - the home was spacious and very clean, had open windows all around the residence to appreciate the stunning ocean views and lush scenery. While the drive up to the house was steep and a bit rocky - it was very manageable and quite exciting - and only 5 minutes max into the heart of Santa Teresa. It was one of the highest homes atop the mountainside so you couldn't ask for a better outlook. The neighbors to the right of the home were close by but there was a high, wooden fence that gave me complete privacy and further - their small puppy came by to say hi everyday and I loved having its company! The kitchen was entirely stocked with everything you need to cook and make meals. There was a water jug with fresh water that was fully stocked - and the A/C was great and cooled down the space very quickly. The pool was great! Nice for a quick dip - and ethereal to watch the sunset from and enjoy cooling off in. I loved having the table and chairs outside on the porch to work from - and WiFi was very fast and never failed on us minus a brief power outage that impacted half the town. This was a working trip for me so it was great I could count on a strong internet connection during the length of my stay. Amanda was great with communication and very helpful no matter the time of day and request. I'd highly recommend you stay here and if you can, spend at least 3-5+ days enjoying the location and space. Thank you to the hosts of Casa Colina - I'd love to come back again!
