Fui con mi familia y nos encanto el lugar, todo muy limpio y además Yves fue muy amable y respondía super rápido a nuestras inquietudes, tuvimos un problema con una llave y el lo soluciono en el momento, nos recomendo sitios cercanos y hubo muy buena comunicación, quedamos satisfechos con el lugar, muy hermoso y habian muchos animalitos que llegaban a la propiedad 🫰🏽

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful Stay and an Amazing Host! My family and I had a wonderful stay at Yves’s beautiful property near Puerto Viejo and Cahuita. Yves was an exceptional host: warm, welcoming, kind, and genuinely thoughtful. He also speaks French, which was especially appreciated by members of my family. He made us feel comfortable right away and shared excellent recommendations for local restaurants and activities. We tried Aroma Café, which he suggested, and everyone loved it! The property is unique, peaceful, and full of character, surrounded by lush tropical gardens, trees, coconuts, lemons, and beautiful greenery. It felt like a relaxing artistic retreat. The accommodations were spacious and perfect for groups, with multiple bedrooms, kitchens, a living area, and a pool. We only stayed one night, so we did not get to enjoy everything, but we would have loved to stay longer. Yves made our short visit truly special and felt more like a friend than a host. We had a fantastic time with our entire family. The rooms were very clean and spacious for everybody, and the garden is all experience on its own. Yves was a very gracious and flexible host.

As a party of 8, we were very comfortable at Villa Mango. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed having two houses to spread out in. The teens took one house and the adults took the other! The pool was wonderful and we also enjoyed the outdoor kitchen. You will hear some road noise from the main road, but it did not bother us at all (we were also there during a very busy holiday week, so the traffic was likely heavier than usual). The property is walkable into the town of Cahuita and the national park/beach. We went to the beach several times, enjoyed the national park trail (runs along the beach) and went snorkeling. Yves is an excellent host - he was proactive with suggestions on places to visit and eat in town, checked in on us via Whats App a few times and also offered to drive us around to give us the lay of the land. Wish we could have stayed longer!

It took us less than a minute after arrival to fall in love with Villa Mango. Walking through the gardens for the first time was like a surreal, storybook experience and it was hard to process all the lush vegetation we were walking through. We feel so fortunate to have stayed here for a week. We particularly loved the outdoor cooking and dining, the excellent pool, and all the howlers, capuchins, agouti and birds that stopped by. And as spectacular as the property is, our host Yves elevated our stay to another level. He greeted us with a big smile and a gracious welcome. Made my Mom truly feel like "the Queen" from the first minute. And although he lives just behind the property he's almost invisible for the most part... but always there when you need. The nice touch of waving goodbye to us when we were (sadly) driving away locked this away as one of my favorite Costa Rican accommodation experiences in our three visits to the country. Yves hospitality won't soon be forgotten.

Yves is the most incredible host. He aims to make sure you have a nice time while there. Yves found and brought sand toys for my granddaughter the first day we arrived. The property is stunning. Yves is extremely helpful, kind and responsive. Yves hooked us up with a local fisherman/restaurant owner named Roberto. Roberto cook the fish we caught and prepared a massive fish and lobster feast at Roberto’s restaurant. Incredible! Hear the family of howler monkeys in the backyard (they are active and loud right before sunrise and again around dusk. The property is walkable to the main part of town. And about 1 mile from the supermarket. Yves answered all my questions and then some. We cannot wait to go back. Actually thinking of booking this property again in August when we go back. My words don’t do it justice. You will NOT regret choosing Yves as your Airbnb host. We got way way more than we ever bargained for and Yves helped us live our experience to the fullest. Pura Vida 💙

We had a wonderful extended family stay at Casa Mango. The house was beautiful decorated, the outdoor kitchen perfect for our group, clean comfortable rooms, and beautiful nature / garden on the property. Easily walkable to Playa Blanca and a great base for exploring the area. Very grateful to Yves for his warm, attentive hospitality. We hope to be back!

We had a great time in Cahuita. The accommodation is in a great location, close to downtown and the national park. Yves gave us some great tips throughout the stay.

Extraordinary!! Villa Mango was the perfect place for our personal work retreat. Everything was impeccable, the pool, the gardens and the beautiful decor. Yves' service was unbeatable, what a nice man, he made us feel at home! All the animals we wanted to see arrived to accompany us and fill us with wonder. Yves' recommendations for restaurants were wonderful! "Roberto, la casa de la langosta" and "Soda Kawe" served us during the 8 days we were there and everything was delicious and the service was punctual and perfect. We can only be grateful for everything we experienced in Villa Mango during the 8 days we were there. Thank you Yves!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Mango! We are a family of five with 3 adult children- we loved enjoying the pool in the garden while we watched the monkeys in the trees and gathering on the lovely porch playing cards while a thunderstorm passed through. The home is beautiful and surrounded by incredible wildlife. Yves was the perfect host and quickly responded to any question we had and provided lots of good local recommendations. We were sad to leave this special place!

We had the most wonderful family time at Yves Mango house. From the moment he met us out side ushering us to our gated oasis with parking behind a gate to the sad moment we had to leave, Yves was always the most gracious, friendly and helpful just imaginable. He stayed out of site unless we needed anything, but was right there to lend a helping hand or give local advice on great spots. The property is a garden oasis with beautiful tropical plants and trees. During our stay we saw a toucan, and numerous birds, two monkey pods in the trees, iguanas, geckos and the local agouti’s. You will not be disappointed in this location!! The rooms, outdoor kitchen and main house are exactly like the pictures, warm, inviting and very comfortable to relax in. We found it difficult some days to lave and see sights as we were enjoying the Mango House. Highly recommend property and host.

Yves is a standout host. Easily the most responsive and helpful Airbnb host we’ve ever met. From meeting us at checkin and suggesting local recommendations to helping reunite lost teddies Yves went out of his way to look after us. His place is amazing. Beautiful main house, great outdoor kitchen and a lovely central pool. The surroundings are amazing…we had our closest monkey encounter in the back garden! Easy walk into town or to the nearest beach and nature reserve. A real pleasure to visit and definitely a place and host I’d 100% recommend.

Eleven of us spent a wonderful weekend at Villa Mango and really want to come back here. Yves was very friendly and uncomplicated, the check-in and check-out was flexible, he was always easily accessible. Everything is very nice, a wonderful garden with great pool, the kitchens inside we are equipped with everything you need, the rooms are very nice and airy and all have their own bathroom. The whole system is very valuable and appealing. We felt completely comfortable. Thanks so much! This was one of the most beautiful places to stay here in Costa Rica and very suitable for groups. Unfortunately, you can hear the street.

We loved our stay at Villa Mango. came for a get away reunión with several families with small kids and it was the perfect place ti spend quality time, cook, socialize and use the pool then have separated sleeping and napping áreas. Yves was super accomodating and helpful in all aspects of our stay!

We can’t gush enough about yves’ place! We were a group of 11 with 6 adults and 5 children and yves took such good care of us and was so kind. The kiddos loved the pool and the adults loved the amount of space we all had! The kitchen was well stocked w dishes etc. we mostly used the outdoor kitchen for dinner and the inside kitchen for breakfast. It about a 15m drive to puerto viejo but walkable to the cahuita national park and other beaches/hikes were close. Would definitely stay there again!!!

Yves was an amazing host and his property was so beautiful! Perfect for our family. Everyone had privacy (lots of bathrooms!) but there were also great spots to gather. The pool was clean and welcoming and the spacious front porch and outdoor kitchen were favorites. Yves offered us so many extras - a trip to the supermarket, setting up chairs at the beach, access to fresh seafood through his vendor, even a birthday cake with champagne!! He was always available to answer our questions and arrange activities. I would recommend Villa Mango 100% and look forward to returning!!

Ivan was quite proactive from the beginning and left everything perfectly organized so that everything during check-in and the stay was perfect and easy to handle. I have no constructive criticism because everything was really excellent!

Wow! Not only is this gorgeous villa in a perfect location, close to the national park and restaurants yet private, it served as a perfect place for respite and total relaxation after two weeks of travelling Costa Rica. We instantly felt at home and whilst we did not think we needed a villa with a pool, this was a total hit with the kids and gave the adults space to relax! What really made this place stand out for us was the extremely attentive host who really went above and beyond to make us comfortable, welcomed and equipped with everything we needed including recommendations for places to visit and restaurants. Thank you for such a memorable time!

Lovely quiet location close to everything but not in the middle of it. We saw agouti and howler monkeys and birds in the property. Lots of space. Private. Easy to find. Good communication. Walking distance to beach and grocery and restaurants. Pool was refreshing.

Villa Mango was perfect for our family reunion. We were able to fit 12 family members with plenty of room and very comfortably. The place has a nice swimming pool and plenty of fans. The owner Yves was a great host and very attentive to our needs. We had an amazing time!!

Great location for family vacations. Close to the national park, close to super markets and easily accessible. As for amenities, everything you need and more. 4 Separate spaces to be together but not scrambled, a good size pool, everything clean and tidy. Yves as a person is exceptional, their attention and communication were excellent.

A very beautiful and familiar place.

The house is very spacious and with lots of greenery. We liked the decor, the pool and that the host was very friendly. The only thing I would say is missing is a washing machine as I went with a 1 year old baby and needed to change it frequently. Overall, we had a nice experience with my whole family.

We had a great stay at Yves's place. Very nice house with more than enough space for the five of us. Yves made all rooms available, wonderful for us and the adolescents to have space and privacy. The kitchen is equipped with everything you wish for and nice lots of cutlery, glasses and plates. The outdoor kitchen was an absolute plus. Especially with the fresh mackerel and lobster that Yves managed to buy for us. This kitchen also had everything you need to cook and bbq with again enough plates and glasses. The house has a lovely garden (self laid out by Yves), where we have seen the necessary beautiful butterflies, birds and monkeys. From the veranda or from the cooling swimming pool. From the house you can easily walk to the beach or to the village. For the latter, Yves also had some good tips for eating out. All in all, we had 4 great days. Wonderful place and a super host!

Mango Villa was a wonderful place to gather for a family reunion of three generations of our family plus a couple of family friends. There was plenty of room for everyone to have both their own space to rest and get some private time in lovely accommodations, in addition to areas where we could all gather. We really enjoyed the pool and the outdoor kitchen, as well as the lovely tropical surroundings where we saw many types of butterflies and birds. We also appreciated how easy it was to walk to the beach. Yves was a terrific host who always responded promptly and had great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. We would love to return to Villa Mango again!

Yves is a friendly, funny and responsive host. Villa Mango is full of charm with a super well appointed terrace. We rented for 2 couples the main house with 2 large bedrooms and each its bathroom. The garden is also well flowered , the howler monkeys, hummingbirds, agoutis have also made it home. A small path leads directly to the center of Cahuita ,it's nice not to take the car and you feel safe even late at night... Yves also provided us with very good restaurant addresses ( go taste the lobster at Rodrigo's) and outings, he also allowed us to postpone the checkout..You can trust him...

We had an excellent stay in this house, Yves is an excellent host, easy to communicate with him and I help us with recommendations of the area and flexibility at check-in and check-out. Beautiful and lush garden and lovely pool. One morning there was a sloth up in the trees and the second morning a flock of monkeys. Nice outdoor kitchen where we cooked all the food. Especially good the evenings we bought fresh fish and seafood through Yves. Yves was really nice and helped us with everything we needed.

What a beautiful oasis for our visit to Cahuita! Lush garden, outdoor kitchen, refreshing pool, and plenty of bedroom/bathroom space for our group of 9. Great Villa for Entertaintment and get away

Villa Mango was a wonderful place to stay with our 4 families. The outdoor kitchen was a big hit with all. The thoughtful private space for each family and a perfect room for all the kids to bunk together. We absolutely loved the porch on the main house, a beautiful place to sit, sip coffee and plan our day. As well as the perfect location to end our evening. The fans throughout kept it cool, ac was not missed. We all throughly enjoyed the pool. It was everything and more. Yves was the best host, so accommodating & helpful. He drove us to Puerto Viejo to pick up our rental cars, purchased groceries so we were prepared the morning after our early morning arrival and greeted us upon our 1am arrival. He truly made Villa Mango a special place. We would definitely stay again. It was also a very short walk to town to the National Park & restaurants.

The garden had fabulous wildlife. We saw howler and capuchin monkeys almost on the veranda! Also lots of geckos and agouti plus the resident cats. Both indoor and outdoor kitchens are really well equipped and the pool great to cool off. Overall, we had a fabulous week!

We spent three delicious nights at Villa Mango. Spacious and neat rooms. A swimming pool at the perfect temperature in a garden of Eden with its omnipresent fauna. With a beautiful outdoor kitchen with the necessary. And especially our host Jean-Yves who received us in his beautiful property in the rules of the art. Discreet but available, good advice and good company for some Pura Vida anecdotes... We strongly recommend...

Corner of heaven!!!! We stayed a family week with five kids, and it was amazing. First of all Yves is a Superhost, helped us all the time with any topic we just asked for, and a very quick response. The house is located in an excellent location with full privacy. The yard is very well maintained and very big and the pool is just perfect with outdoor kitchen. The house itself is very cozy with a balcony and hammocks- great fun. We can't wait to come back next time.

Being in Villa Mango is very nice, because of the surroundings (birds chirping, roaring monkeys from afar, overlaps with trees that provide fresh worries as well as close to the entrance of the national park). Maintaining privacy is always possible because of the very good layout of the different cabinas and main house of the villa. And last but not least, we have Ives: he is one of those people who are not easy to find. Very friendly and in has very good features a good and respectful communication: approachable, emphatic and social. We had spent very nice family days over Easter in Villa Mango. Thanks Ives again Muchísimas gracias Ives also from the side of my "Familia" and our German friends. We will come back😊

There are so many good things to say about Yves and our stay at Villa Mango. For a host, I can't imagine a better one than Yves. He was there for anything we needed and offered great recommendations. He is friendly and relaxed, and his love of living here is evident. The location is very private but close to the town and national park, a 25 minute walk to the most enjoyable swimming beach. The main house is beautiful with enough room for our party of 10 to enjoy meals together. There's also a lovely outdoor kitchen and grill. The 2 bedrooms in the main house are spacious and lovely. The 3 in the cottage are small and simple. The pool in the center is lovely, you can float among beautiful flowers and plants, and Yves keeps it meticulously clean. You must remember mosquito spray, but by keeping the bedroom doors closed all the time, we were never bothered while we slept. We would certainly love to stay here again.
