Excellent choice in Cahuita. We really enjoyed it. The house is very nice and fully equipped for cooking, and we even used the grill. Yves is very attentive, responds quickly, and was very flexible with our check-in and check-out times. The entrance to Cahuita National Park is 750 m away (a 10 min walk).

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful Stay and an Amazing Host! My family and I had a wonderful stay at Yves’s beautiful property near Puerto Viejo and Cahuita. Yves was an exceptional host: warm, welcoming, kind, and genuinely thoughtful. He also speaks French, which was especially appreciated by members of my family. He made us feel comfortable right away and shared excellent recommendations for local restaurants and activities. We tried Aroma Café, which he suggested, and everyone loved it! The property is unique, peaceful, and full of character, surrounded by lush tropical gardens, trees, coconuts, lemons, and beautiful greenery. It felt like a relaxing artistic retreat. The accommodations were spacious and perfect for groups, with multiple bedrooms, kitchens, a living area, and a pool. We only stayed one night, so we did not get to enjoy everything, but we would have loved to stay longer. Yves made our short visit truly special and felt more like a friend than a host. We had a fantastic time with our entire family. The rooms were very clean and spacious for everybody, and the garden is all experience on its own. Yves was a very gracious and flexible host.

As a party of 8, we were very comfortable at Villa Mango. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed having two houses to spread out in. The teens took one house and the adults took the other! The pool was wonderful and we also enjoyed the outdoor kitchen. You will hear some road noise from the main road, but it did not bother us at all (we were also there during a very busy holiday week, so the traffic was likely heavier than usual). The property is walkable into the town of Cahuita and the national park/beach. We went to the beach several times, enjoyed the national park trail (runs along the beach) and went snorkeling. Yves is an excellent host - he was proactive with suggestions on places to visit and eat in town, checked in on us via Whats App a few times and also offered to drive us around to give us the lay of the land. Wish we could have stayed longer!

It took us less than a minute after arrival to fall in love with Villa Mango. Walking through the gardens for the first time was like a surreal, storybook experience and it was hard to process all the lush vegetation we were walking through. We feel so fortunate to have stayed here for a week. We particularly loved the outdoor cooking and dining, the excellent pool, and all the howlers, capuchins, agouti and birds that stopped by. And as spectacular as the property is, our host Yves elevated our stay to another level. He greeted us with a big smile and a gracious welcome. Made my Mom truly feel like "the Queen" from the first minute. And although he lives just behind the property he's almost invisible for the most part... but always there when you need. The nice touch of waving goodbye to us when we were (sadly) driving away locked this away as one of my favorite Costa Rican accommodation experiences in our three visits to the country. Yves hospitality won't soon be forgotten.

Yves is the most incredible host. He aims to make sure you have a nice time while there. Yves found and brought sand toys for my granddaughter the first day we arrived. The property is stunning. Yves is extremely helpful, kind and responsive. Yves hooked us up with a local fisherman/restaurant owner named Roberto. Roberto cook the fish we caught and prepared a massive fish and lobster feast at Roberto’s restaurant. Incredible! Hear the family of howler monkeys in the backyard (they are active and loud right before sunrise and again around dusk. The property is walkable to the main part of town. And about 1 mile from the supermarket. Yves answered all my questions and then some. We cannot wait to go back. Actually thinking of booking this property again in August when we go back. My words don’t do it justice. You will NOT regret choosing Yves as your Airbnb host. We got way way more than we ever bargained for and Yves helped us live our experience to the fullest. Pura Vida 💙

We had a wonderful extended family stay at Casa Mango. The house was beautiful decorated, the outdoor kitchen perfect for our group, clean comfortable rooms, and beautiful nature / garden on the property. Easily walkable to Playa Blanca and a great base for exploring the area. Very grateful to Yves for his warm, attentive hospitality. We hope to be back!

We had a great time in Cahuita. The accommodation is in a great location, close to downtown and the national park. Yves gave us some great tips throughout the stay.

Extraordinary!! Villa Mango was the perfect place for our personal work retreat. Everything was impeccable, the pool, the gardens and the beautiful decor. Yves' service was unbeatable, what a nice man, he made us feel at home! All the animals we wanted to see arrived to accompany us and fill us with wonder. Yves' recommendations for restaurants were wonderful! "Roberto, la casa de la langosta" and "Soda Kawe" served us during the 8 days we were there and everything was delicious and the service was punctual and perfect. We can only be grateful for everything we experienced in Villa Mango during the 8 days we were there. Thank you Yves!
