Had a blast. So peaceful!!! It was a great experience.

The place was very spacious. I rented the unit for about four days with family and friends. The property was quiet and well kept. Upon arrival there was someone there to greet us and show us around the place . A open floor plan with a Large kitchen. The master bedroom was impressive, with a beautiful large Terrence and stair’s that lead down to the pool was a nice touch. Once you got downstairs, you are about 100 yards from a magnificent beach. There was sargassum on the beach but not enough to turn you away because the groundskeepers were doing their very best to remove it from the beach. Ultimately, I would most definitely rent this unit again. 💐

Great accommodations for our group! We enjoyed the pool, beach, pier, nearby resorts, activities and restaurants. Lots to do for everyone…beach walks, lounging by the pool, mini-golf, golf, pickleball, excursions. We had a golf cart for trips to nearby groceries, fruit stands and trips into the village! Recommend this place!

Group of 6, we loved the location. We enjoyed spending time at the pool/hot tub as well as the pier and beach. The host was very helpful with recommending local travel guides and recommending places to see, eat, rentals, etc. I will definitely come back to Marazul.

We had an amazing stay! The rooms are all good sized and there was plenty of room for our two families of four, it would have easily fit two families of five. The common space was so nice and open, great view, love the pool and beach access. I recommend booking this place, probably our favorite Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. The kitchen is extremely well stocked which was great for making a few meals at home (and even baking) so we didn’t have to go out every night. Jackie was extremely responsive and went above and beyond.

We had a great time at this penthouse condo. The space was not only spacious enough to fit our large family comfortably but it also had a nice vibe that made it feel special. The views and a peaceful atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy the moment. We all had a great time.

My family of six (ages 52, 44, 42, 20, 15, 13) enjoyed our stay at the Villas of Cocoplum. The grounds were beautiful, very well cared for. The dock was great since it offered shade and sun. My son loved fishing off of it. We even got picked up at the dock when we were having boat days. It was so convenient. The two condos on the top floor had a great view and were comfortable. A/C worked really well! Anytime I had a question or needed help, the staff would respond within minutes. They were so kind and helpful! My only suggestion is to add some additional plates, coffee cups and kitchen utensils - but not really a big deal at all. Great place to stay, definitely felt like a good deal for the money spent.

This was our first trip to Belize. Kimberly helped us with every aspect of our vacation, from shuttle services, to car rentals, dive shops, every question answered quickly. She couldn't have made it any easier for us. The housing was just as described, and very comfortable.

I can't say enough about the Villas at Cocoplum! The property is absolutely gorgeous. The condos are amazing and have everything you need. The beds were very comfortable and AC worked perfect! We couldn't have asked for anything better. Even though it's in a gated area, all of Placencia is safe. The best way to get there is by Tropic Air and then rent golf carts. Most companies will have the golf carts waiting for you at the airport. There is no need to rent a car, unless you are going to drive to Placencia. We did rent a van and went to the Maya King Waterfalls for a day. It was perfect. If we ever travel back to that area, we will definitely stay at Villas at Cocoplum!

We were two families traveling together looking for a nice space to relax with our kids for the week. The condos had separate living space, but joining balconies, which was really nice for privacy, but also able to spend time with friends. Kitchen was very well stocked to cook all our own meals. We enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boards. The other residents were really kind to our kids at the pool. Overall a great place for families, or any larger group traveling together. Our host was really proactive and communicated well. We would definitely stay again.

We spent 13 days at the villas at Cocoplum. We loved the location being in the middle of the peninsula. Having a golf cart gave us all the freedom we needed to do all we wanted. The pool and private dock were a huge plus. The staff at Cocoplum were very friendly and very helpful. Very easy location to experience the many excursions Belize has to offer. The villa has everything you need. We would highly recommend staying at Cocoplum villas.

The location is wonderful and the unit was the perfect size for our family of five. The beach and pier is a beautiful setting! The pool was much appreciated on hot days. Lots of accessible activities.

I am 66 and my husband is 77 and we did not know we would be on the third floor. It was very hard on us to go up and down the stairs. I would have requested a bottom floor had I known. The beach was not clean but the beaches on both sides of us were clean. The place was very nice and we had plenty of room. Thank you Jamie Hafford

We loved our stay in Placencia!

We came as a family trip- three generations of travelers - and we all felt right at home! Wonderful accommodations in the heart of Placencia. Herbert was wonderful with local suggestions and we thoroughly enjoyed Alvarro who helped us and was on sight. We made great use of paddle boards, kayaks, and bicycles. Best meal by far was Vern’s! Thanks again!

This condo is more beautiful than pictured ! It's so spacious inside with great airflow, many windows, and a large deck with a gorgeous view of the pool area and sea just beyond the palm trees. Beds are comfy, AC works well, wifi available throughout the property. Having an ice maker was a big plus! Everything was laid back and comfortable- my kids played in the pool, threw football in the lawn, used the paddleboards, jumped off the dock, etc. and no one corrected them for being rowdy lol. (We did make sure they mellowed out when other guests nearby were just relaxing.) The groundskeepers were out daily cleaning the pool, raking the sand, etc. Location is somewhat remote-- FYI you can only walk to 2 resorts, but they are great! The only drawback is no groceries available without a golf cart/car/ 30 min bike ride. The Naia resort has some of THE best food we had on our trip (especially since we're vegetarians). Really appreciated Herbert arranging our taxi and his personal welcome.

The Villas at Cocoplum were everything we'd hoped for in Belize. In our opinion, they were the best location on the beach. Herbert was a great host and available whenever we needed anything. The staff at the Villas were also extremely helpful. One in particular, Alvaro, helped with fishing gear, day excursions, and day to day needs. I would ,and will, recommend The Villas at Cocoplum to anybody considering a trip to Belize.

We really loved staying at this location. The pool and hot tub were lovely. The Condo was really nice and very comfortable. Herbert was a great host. So nice to have access to bikes, kayaks, paddle boards at no extra charge.

We couldn't have had a better stay! Herbert was extremely responsive, while planning the trip and during our stay. He suggested a company for snorkeling, and we had a great experience. We used the same company (Splash Dive Center) for a fishing excursion as well, which was also wonderful. The two condos are well-stocked and appointed. It was a perfect fit for our family of 6, and we didn't use the loft bedrooms. We loved the pier and spent plenty of time hanging out and swimming. We also enjoyed the free use of bicycles and kayaks. The complex was practically empty when we were there. Not being fond of crowds, we knew this in advance (again, thanks to Herbert's responsiveness), and we would not have stayed here during peak occupancy. As much as we loved it, I would be cautious about staying there in the future, since there is a massive expansion underway. Not our style, but definitely is for others! Thanks again for a great stay, Herbert!

Cocoplum was a great place to stay. Our suite was absolutely beautiful and location close to Maya beach and downtown Placencia was great too. July is a slow time in Belize so we had easy access to every restaurant. The food everywhere in Placencia is amazing. Herbert made things so easy as well as the whole staff there. Everyone is so friendly in Belize. We would love to come back!!

Our stay at Cocoplum was fabulous, its even more beautiful than the pictures. and Herbert was an excellent host, very responsive and friendly, and onsite many times to help. The pool is wonderful, and my favorite was the palapa and pier with sun chairs, so relaxing right on the beautiful ocean. Direct access to an amazing beach for walks or swimming. I have a bad back but the beds were extremely comfortable, the condo is upscale and very clean with a beautiful view from the patio. The kitchen is very well stocked, had everything we needed and more. As stated in the description, there is construction on site so you need to not be surprised by some noise and workers. The location is close to Maya Beach or Placencia village, as well as grocery stores and restaurants all around so its in a great location. Our family had a blast and I'm sure we will return again, thank you Herbert

Wow, great hidden spot. Very cozy and quiet. Not too far from Placencia. Quick drive down to all the action. Very clean, very safe location.

Herbert was super helpful both before and during our stay. He was a great resource for local attractions and restaurants. The villa was very clean and comfortable. We loved the location.

Herbert went above and beyond to make our stay more than enjoyable. He and all the staff were just amazing and so friendly. He gave us lots of info on things we wanted to do and how/where to book them. We had trouble getting in the condo super late one night (our fault) and he was there to help us in a matter of 5 minutes! The condo is exactly as pictured and absolutely beautiful! Plenty of linens, towels, kitchen supplies, games, pool floats, snorkel gear, etc. All you need to bring is your clothes. This home is very nicely decorated with great AC and ceiling fans, including a fan on the patio above a large table for meals/games. The grounds are immaculate and pool/jacuzzi are wonderful with very comfy chaise lounges and umbrellas for shade, volleyball, corn hole, paddle boards and kayaks. The pier was amazing for enjoying morning coffee and watching the sunset at the end of the day. We would definitely stay here again!

This was our second trip to the Villas at Cocoplum, and it was great. Love the condo. Love the location. But we truly appreciated the extra efforts Herbert made to make our trip a good one.

We had a lovely stay at the Coco Plum Villa. The condo had everything we needed and then some. Herbert was super helpful, always responsive and even made it extremely easy for us to extend our stay for an extra few days. The only downside was the construction going on in a new building they are putting up on the beachfront but if you're out for the day, you won't even notice it.

Beautiful, serene setting. Having 2 laundry facilities and kitchens, plus a bathtub was pivotal for our 2 families with 3 kiddos under age 4. Access to pools, bars, restaurants, yoga and mini golf at two resorts, both walking distance. Also enjoyed the bikes, dock and outdoor BBQ on site.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo. Our toddlers enjoyed the pool and the views from the condo. We didn't want to leave! The Naia resort grounds/residences were five stars regarding visual aesthetics. The property grounds were well kept and safe, breathtaking ocean views, and the staff had excellent customer service from check-in to check-out. Herbert was very responsive, and his team was friendly. The only issue I had was the weak Wi-Fi signal. The wifi is shared throughout the building, which caused intermittent connections and slow speed. The owners should invest in a strong wifi extender in the condo. We were there for vacation, so it was not that big of a deal. I would book this place again in a heartbeat! Also, please tour the property with Laurence, who runs the sales team there. You won't regret it and may end up buying a condo! Thank you all once again!

Amazing place with all the amenities to include on-site staff to help with reservations/taxis. The rooms are gorgeous with vaulted ceilings and individually controlled air conditioners. Fast Wi-Fi, luscious grounds, free bikes and kayaks, gated entrance and nearby to great restaurants, gym, pickle ball courts and a fantastic putt putt golf course. We stayed four nights with 6 guests; renting the entire top floor and it couldn’t have been better!

The Villas are wonderful. Herbert was GREAT to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Paradise place!!!! Spacious and comfortable apartment!

The Villas at Cocoplum are beautiful. It’s the perfect spot. We came during the off season. We had to endure rain and a few store closures, but we had the best time. Herbert was communicative and helpful. Alvaro and the staff were lovely. Alvaro opened a few coconuts for us and made sure the hot tub was warm. We arrived the day before hurricane Julia hit the coast of Nicaragua. We got a little wind and a ton of rain the first day and there was some flooding, but we felt safe and we enjoyed relaxing at the villa and exploring the beach when the rain was light. Also, an automobile accident in a nearby town knocked out the electricity overnight but Herbert kept us updated on when we would get power back. My family members next door in the villa never realized the power had gone out! They were perfectly comfortable. We rented a 15-passenger van from Crystal Auto Rental at the airport and drove to Placencia. That was a lot of fun. It took us about 4 hours and we feel like we got a real experience of Belize. Herbert was helpful every step of the way before and during our trip. His recommendations were solid. Placencia is beautiful and a wonderful experience, even in the off season. We had dinner at the 1981 restaurant next door. Mariano over at the Naia resort was so nice and he even gave us a ride in a golf cart back to our villa so we didn’t have to walk in the driving rain. After the hurricane moved off, we did a tour with Untame Belize of Mayan chocolate-making, a butterfly farm, and an authentic Belize lunch. We also visited Ranguana Caye and the six of us had the whole island to ourselves! It was a trip of a lifetime for us!

This vacation was so special since we had all of our kids with us and their new spouses! We had a wonderful time staying at Cocoplum!! We had the place pretty much to ourselves since we were there in the “off” season. We enjoyed the pool, played some volleyball, kayaked, paddle boarded and grilled a nice dinner to eat out on the pier. There were quite a few jelly fish so we only swam around the pier once. The security guy, Magdaleno and the maintenance guys Alvaro and Elijah were great! They were very friendly and willing to help in any way we needed. They even offered to collect and cut open some fresh coconuts for us while we were playing volleyball in the hot sun. So nice of him! Herbert was great too! His communication is top and he greeted us for check-in and made us feel very welcome. Now about Belize…we loved it there! The people were so friendly and you can tell they have a close community there. It’s beautiful and was very relaxing. A great place to get away from the hustle and bustle! We didn’t want to leave! We would definitely stay here again!!

Herbert was very nice and friendly. He was very well informed about anything we asked.. He was more than eager to help with anything that we were wanting.

The description doesn’t do this unit justice. It is lovely and literally walking distance to two resorts that have yummy meals. My family of 8 used both units and were super comfy but we didn’t stay in much.

This place is absolutely beautiful! Herbert was the most polite and gracious host- excellent response time and communication! He even kept us up-to-date on the changing health requirements with Covid! We left a laptop and he made arrangements to have it delivered to us at the Belize airport! We were so grateful! The grounds are beautiful and very well kept. Comfortable beds, crisp linens and delicious coffee were all provided we arrived. Large bathrooms and plenty of space for our family of 6, We ate at the resort restaurant and had the most amazing food! My advice: rent a golf cart for sure to get around (Captain Jak’s was easy to work with… they had golf carts waiting at the airport and we dropped them there when we left - you just have to pay like $10 extra) and grab some snacks for the room! Stay here you won’t be disappointed!

Our stay at Scarlet Macaw was amazing! When our ice machine wasn’t working it was delivered immediately. Fresh coconuts when asked. Amenities were always clean. We enjoyed every aspect. 10/10 recommend.

The apartment is very spacious, clean, complete, it has everything you need even more and cozy. Very friendly and helpful host was always on top of what we needed. The location is perfect, close to everything you need. My family loved the place looking forward to coming back again.

Great location and stay. Central on the Island to the village and Maya Beach. The beach connected to a neighboring resort with a great poolside restaurant and bar that was open to the guests in our complex. Overall very happy with the location and unit.

Herbert was a great host. We enjoyed the condo, location and grounds. We felt like the condo could’ve been a little cleaner, but would stay there again. We used the kitchen and grill heavily which worked out well for us.

This apartment was perfect! It was great to get away from the "resort" experience, but still have access to everything nearby. We enjoyed sunrises from the pier, morning kayaking and paddle boarding, afternoons by the pool, and wonderful beach walks to the nearby bar and restaurant. I suggest getting a rental car. We were able to explore the village, as well as taking some jungle adventures with ease. The people of Belize, especially along the Placencia peninsula were incredibly friendly. We will definitely be back!

Condo and grounds are beautiful. Everything is clean, in good shape and high end. Location is a bit far from most things, so a golf cart/car is important. 5 minute drive to the closest markets and restaurants. 20 minutes to Placencia town. Or it is US$20 for a cab. Some of the boat tours will pick you up on the property's pier, so you can avoid the ride to town. Herbert is fantastic. Super prompt in responding. Easy check in. The only weird thing about the condo is that the curtains are basically see-through at night when the interior lights are on. Because the condo is on the ground floor, everyone in the common area of the property can look straight into the living room and master bedroom. Anyone on the side of the building can look into the master bath.

I can't begin to explain why we fell in love with this FANTASTIC luxury condo near Maya Beach, Belize. We were a family of 7, and there was more than enough room, from the large high-ceiling common areas to the spacious bedrooms and balconies. We loved the modern kitchen, with all the amenities you would expect in a showroom, and the bathrooms in the two master bedrooms were gorgeous. The condo is on the top floor of the building unit, which gave us a great view of the ocean each morning. Wifi, cable tv and laundry room all worked fine. There's a shared pool area with BBQ, and a lovely pier that goes straight into the ocean, where you'll find a bar area and lounge chairs. That's really the place to be if you want to sunbathe and take a dip because the ocean breeze will cool you off (and keep the mosquitoes off you). There's a sandy beach, of course, but it's a natural beach with a fair amount of vegetation on the shoreline so you wouldn't want to enter the water from the beach. That's why you have the pier. There are bikes and kayaks you can use, too. We thought the boutique hotels and friendly restaurants that lined Maya Beach were great -- we spent most nights there, since it was the closest. Had somewhat of an early Tulum vibe. The next closest town to the south, Seine Bight, was really interesting -- lots of local sights and sounds, but not a lot of options for tourists. Further south was Placencia, which we really enjoyed. Good food with some lively bars. Herbert, our host, was the best. Very attentive and gave us great tips throughout our stay. Though there's so much more in the world I have yet to see, I'd actually would love to come back to Herbert's place some day in the future. It's great!

You get more than what you pay for, it's exceptional and I hope to stay there again. Great location and very stylish. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was a great one. Our trip wouldn't have been as memorable if we hadn't stayed here, highly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Placencia.
