The place was very spacious. I rented the unit for about four days with family and friends. The property was quiet and well kept. Upon arrival there was someone there to greet us and show us around the place . A open floor plan with a Large kitchen. The master bedroom was impressive, with a beautiful large Terrence and stair’s that lead down to the pool was a nice touch. Once you got downstairs, you are about 100 yards from a magnificent beach. There was sargassum on the beach but not enough to turn you away because the groundskeepers were doing their very best to remove it from the beach. Ultimately, I would most definitely rent this unit again. 💐

We had an amazing stay! The rooms are all good sized and there was plenty of room for our two families of four, it would have easily fit two families of five. The common space was so nice and open, great view, love the pool and beach access. I recommend booking this place, probably our favorite Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. The kitchen is extremely well stocked which was great for making a few meals at home (and even baking) so we didn’t have to go out every night. Jackie was extremely responsive and went above and beyond.

Our stay at Scarlet Macaw was amazing! When our ice machine wasn’t working it was delivered immediately. Fresh coconuts when asked. Amenities were always clean. We enjoyed every aspect. 10/10 recommend.

I can't begin to explain why we fell in love with this FANTASTIC luxury condo near Maya Beach, Belize. We were a family of 7, and there was more than enough room, from the large high-ceiling common areas to the spacious bedrooms and balconies. We loved the modern kitchen, with all the amenities you would expect in a showroom, and the bathrooms in the two master bedrooms were gorgeous. The condo is on the top floor of the building unit, which gave us a great view of the ocean each morning. Wifi, cable tv and laundry room all worked fine. There's a shared pool area with BBQ, and a lovely pier that goes straight into the ocean, where you'll find a bar area and lounge chairs. That's really the place to be if you want to sunbathe and take a dip because the ocean breeze will cool you off (and keep the mosquitoes off you). There's a sandy beach, of course, but it's a natural beach with a fair amount of vegetation on the shoreline so you wouldn't want to enter the water from the beach. That's why you have the pier. There are bikes and kayaks you can use, too. We thought the boutique hotels and friendly restaurants that lined Maya Beach were great -- we spent most nights there, since it was the closest. Had somewhat of an early Tulum vibe. The next closest town to the south, Seine Bight, was really interesting -- lots of local sights and sounds, but not a lot of options for tourists. Further south was Placencia, which we really enjoyed. Good food with some lively bars. Herbert, our host, was the best. Very attentive and gave us great tips throughout our stay. Though there's so much more in the world I have yet to see, I'd actually would love to come back to Herbert's place some day in the future. It's great!
